I created this song to comfort friends who recently lost a loved one to the curse of sin, which is death. We are not hopeless when we remain in Christ. Though our bodies fade and death comes to us we have a blessed hope in the resurrection. We need not fear death for we believe in God who laid His own life and took it up again to break the curse of sin that He may give us eternal life. “Resting in Jesus Until the Morning” By Zeres Vitto Verse 1 – The Curse and the Promise From Eden’s fall the shadow came, A broken world, a dying flame. The wage of sin, the curse we bore, Dust to dust, to live no more. Yet mercy spoke before the grave, A promised Seed, a life to save. God stepped in love, the plan was sealed, A coming Christ, the curse repealed. Pre-Chorus Though death reigned strong through Adam’s door, Hope was sworn forevermore.
