This series, through the Book of Revelation, is designed to help ordinary believers understand God’s perspective on their lives, circumstances, struggles, and future. Revelation reminds us that Jesus Christ is faithful, victorious, and sovereign over all things. He has loved us, freed us from our sins, made us a kingdom and priests to God, and is coming again. Therefore, regardless of what we face, we are called to remain faithful, disciplined, and patient in our walk with God. As we journey through this series, we will learn to look beyond our present circumstances and allow God’s perspective, revealed through Revelation, to shape how we live, endure, and remain committed to Him. God authors every season, and He works through each person to accomplish His purposes in our lives and in His Church. As believers, we are called to recognise and embrace the season we are in, allowing God to shape our character, deepen our faith, and prepare us for greater responsibility and influence. Leadership, people, and seasons will change, but God does not, and His purposes for Miracle Life Family Church remain steadfast. Therefore, we remain faithful to His Word, trust His timing, and give ourselves to the Church's growth, unity, discipleship, and mission, trusting that God gives the increase. In this sermon, Pastor Moffat reminds us to embrace our Church’s current season, trust in God’s unchanging nature and purpose, and faithfully contribute to the Church's growth, unity, and mission. The Transfer of an Assignment was a transition service marking the handover of pastoral leadership at MLFC from Pastors Walker and Haley Schurz to Pastors Moffat and Naomi Chembe. The sermon emphasized that while leaders and assignments may change, the church’s mission and foundation in Jesus Christ remain the same. Drawing from Hebrews 12 and 1 Corinthians 3, the message encouraged the new pastors to build on the foundation already laid, continue the work faithfully, and lead the church into its next season of growth as God gives the increase. This is a message of appreciation marking the transition of Pastors Walker and Haley Schurz from senior leadership at Miracle Life Family Church. Drawing from Ecclesiastes 3:1, it emphasizes that God appoints seasons and assignments, and that faithful servants must be willing both to accept His call and to recognize when an assignment is complete. It traces God’s work through MLFC from its founding under Reverend David and Cheryl Newberry to the Schurzes’ leadership, celebrating their willingness, obedience, impact, and the legacy of faith, love, service, strong systems, biblical teaching, and accountability they leave behind. Are we equally willing and obedient when God calls us? We're encouraged to follow Christ’s example, surrender to God’s will, and remain ready for whatever assignment He gives next. Hosted on Acast. In this two-part series, we see how Jesus did not call His followers to blend in, He called them to stand out. In the Sermon on the Mount, He declared that His disciples are the salt of the earth. These are not aspirational titles, they are statements of identity. But identity without expression is meaningless. Authentic Christianity is the visible expression of the inward rule of Christ, producing Christlike character, righteous living, and redemptive influence in the world. The question this sermon confronts is not whether we call ourselves Christians, but whether our lives reflect the character of Christ and bring His goodness and influence into the world. Authentic Christianity is the visible expression of Christ's inward rule, producing Christlike character, righteous living, and redemptive influence. In this message, we examine three pillars of impactful faith: Measure, Movement, and Merit. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

The Bible calls us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and to stop leaning on our own limited understanding. Trusting in wealth, human strength, or our own wisdom ultimately disappoints, because all of these are finite. But God, whose word never fails, whose character never changes, and whose purposes never stop, is worthy of our complete, unwavering trust. The fruit of that trust is not the removal of difficulty but the gift of peace that surpasses understanding. Pastor Alice’s sermon confronted a question every believer must answer honestly: Where is your trust? Not where should it be, but where is it, right now, in the middle of your real life? The sermon calls us away from the false securities of wealth, human support, and self-reliance, and back to the only anchor that holds, the Lord God, an everlasting rock. Hosted on Acast. Pastor Moffat concluded the Spiritual Habits of Transformation series with a timely reminder that every believer has a personal responsibility to remain connected to Christ. Using the picture of the vine and the branches from John 15, he reminded us that lasting spiritual fruit cannot be produced through human strength alone. Just as a branch cannot survive or bear fruit when separated from the vine, we cannot grow, overcome sin or fulfil God’s purpose for our lives apart from Jesus. The message challenged us to recognise the attitudes and behaviours that interfere with our relationship with God, including pride, unbelief, sexual immorality, bitterness, unforgiveness and worldliness. These things weaken our spiritual lives, harden our hearts and prevent us from becoming the people God has called us to be. However, transformation is possible as we intentionally practise spiritual habits such as prayer, studying and meditating on God’s Word, fasting, forgiveness, worship and faithful service in the local church. These disciplines are not merely religious activities; they are ways of remaining connected to Christ and allowing His life to flow through us. The invitation from Sunday’s message was simple but powerful: Abide in Christ. As we remain in Him, He transforms our hearts, renews our minds and enables us to bear fruit that brings glory to God. Serving God is not just something we do—it is the fruit of a life that abides in Christ. We serve not to earn His grace, but because we have already received it. As we remain connected to the True Vine, His life flows through us and produces fruit that will impact generations. May our service be wholehearted, diligent, and rooted in genuine relationship with Him. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
