It was a week to forget for AFC Wimbledon fans, as back to back comprehensive defeats saw their winless run continue. Tim and Spike look back on both results, as well as previewing the Wycombe Wanderers game where the team will be aiming to right the ship. Elsewhere, Dons fans heard the first details of the investment pitch from Sloane Street Capital on Wednesday night, and we discussed our initial, uninformed thoughts on the proposal, as well as some questions and concerns around the offer.

Thanks to the extended international break Tim and Spike have only got one game to discuss this week, and it's AFC Wimbledon's 1-1 draw away at Cambridge. They also discuss the lay of the land in League One after eight games in reference to Tim's recent blog post. If you've not had a chance yet, you can read Tim's latest blog at https://wimbledonstatsblog.wordpress.com/2026/09/28/early-season-review/ COYD!

Tim, Spike and Arash discuss a game that was played against a team from Buckinghamshire last Thursday, before moving ahead to discuss their upcoming fixture against a team that earned its place in the Football League in Cambridge United. Note: This episode was recorded before news of Steven Sessegnon's call-up to the Turks and Caicos Islands national team. Good news for him, less so for the relevance of our discussion, or the Wimbledon starting XI.

Arash and Tim discuss the back-to-back wins over Bromley and Doncaster that sees the Dons in the lofty position of 7th in League One. They highlight some tactical shifts and positive individual contributions, including from Bursik, Hippolyte and Maycock. They then discuss the current injury situation and lightness of the squad in some positions. Finally, they look ahead to Thursday night's game against Franchise.
