The Salesgirls Built a Multi-Million Dollar Brand—Here’s How Founder Macy McNeely Stayed Sane Doing It
2026/09/23
You’ve heard the advice: work hard, be consistent, learn how to sell. But what if doing all the “right things” still isn’t getting you the results you want?
In this episode, Emily sits down with her longtime coach and the founder of The Salesgirls, Macy McNeely, to talk about the missing piece most students and early-stage entrepreneurs overlook: your nervous system.
Because the truth is, strategy only works when your body feels safe enough to actually use it.
Macy shares how she built a multi-million dollar brand—and what helped her stay grounded, clear, and confident even when the stakes were high. If you’ve ever felt anxious on a sales call, stuck in your head, or like you’re trying so hard and still not breaking through… this conversation is going to unlock something for you.

Your Nervous System Is the Operating System of Your Business (Here’s Why You Keep Self-Sabotaging)
2026/08/26
You can have the best strategy in the world… and still not execute.
Because your nervous system is the operating system running your business.
In this episode, I’m joined by my creative director (and former client) Emily Rowlett to break down what “nervous system regulation” actually means — beyond the buzzword — and why so many high-achieving women get stuck in the same cycle:
✅ Consistent for a week… then disappear
✅ Overworking in fight-or-flight… then crashing into shutdown
✅ Overthinking “logical” reasons a strategy won’t work… when it’s really your body feeling unsafe
✅ Hitting a new revenue level… then self-sabotaging back to what feels familiar
We talk through the the biggest truth most entrepreneurs miss:
You can’t grow your business beyond what your nervous system can hold.
If you’re building a business while raising kids, leading a team, managing clients, and trying to be a whole human… this one will land.

Are You Fighting for Your Future... Or Your Limitations?
2026/08/12
What if the biggest thing holding you back isn’t your schedule, your bank account, or your circumstances, but rather the way you defend them? In this episode of Be THAT Girl, Emily shares the real story behind a viral reel, a comment that could have derailed her, and why she refuses to fight for her own limitations. You’ll hear about scrappy $8/hour babysitters, grocery budget spreadsheets, and the nervous system work that made it all possible. If you’ve ever said “must be nice” instead of “how can I make that happen?”, this one’s for you.

The Position I Put Off for a Year: How Hiring an Executive Assistant has Changed My Business (And My Life!) | An Honest Conversation with My EA Samantha
2026/07/29
How long have you been doing everything yourself, and what has that actually cost you?
I posted a job for an executive assistant in December. Samantha answered it. And this conversation is everything I wish I had heard before I waited as long as I did.
Samantha is my executive assistant, and in this episode she is sitting across from me talking through the whole story. How long I resisted hiring, what finally made me stop stalling and post the job, how Samantha found the listing and what set her apart from every other applicant, and what the role of an executive assistant actually looks like in practice, including the unglamorous parts: the returns, the photo shoot logistics, the things that never made it into the job description but quietly make everything else possible.
We also talk about what an executive assistant actually absorbs that you cannot put a line item on. The cognitive load. The decisions that seem small but add up. The mental energy you are spending on things that have nothing to do with growing your business, and what becomes available when someone else is holding all of that.
And we get honest about the identity piece underneath the decision, because for most high-achieving women, the real reason they do not hire an executive assistant has nothing to do with the budget. It has to do with the belief that needing help means something. This episode is about what it costs to hold that belief, and what changes when you finally let it go.

How Personal Style Impacts Confidence, Visibility, and Business Growth
2026/07/15
What if getting dressed every morning was about more than fashion?
In this episode, Emily sits down with Sarah Kraus to explore the surprising connection between personal style, nervous system regulation, confidence, and business growth.
For many women, visibility feels uncomfortable not because they lack confidence, but because their nervous system doesn't feel safe being seen. Sarah shares how discovering the right colors, clothing, and personal style can reduce decision fatigue, increase self-trust, and help you show up more authentically in every area of your life and business. If you've ever stood in front of a full closet and felt like you had nothing to wear or you've wondered why showing up online feels harder than it should, this conversation will completely change the way you think about style.

In this episode I talk about what it actually feels like when something you wanted for a long time finally gets close enough to touch, because it doesn't feel the way you think it will from a distance, and I think that's worth talking about.

The Nervous System Pattern Keeping You Stuck Financially
2026/05/14
Why does your business keep hitting the same revenue ceiling… no matter how hard you work?
In this episode, Emily Judice breaks down the nervous system patterns behind income plateaus, self-sabotage, and “rubber banding” back to familiar revenue levels. If you’ve ever had a big month in business only to immediately pull back, overspend, disappear from visibility, or feel overwhelmed by growth—this episode is for you.
Emily shares how your nervous system creates a financial “set point,” why more money can subconsciously feel unsafe, and the sneaky ways dysregulation keeps high-achieving women stuck. She also explains why strategy alone isn’t enough to scale, and how emotional regulation is what actually allows you to sustain more visibility, responsibility, leadership, and income.

Why Being Seen Feels So Hard (And What To Do About It)
2026/04/29
If you’ve ever felt scared to post, hesitant to speak up, or stuck overthinking every piece of content… this episode is for you.
In today’s conversation, we’re diving into the real reason visibility feels so hard—and it’s not what you think. It’s not a strategy problem. It’s not that you need more confidence.
It’s your nervous system.
I’m breaking down why your brain associates being seen with danger, how this shows up in ways you might not even realize (like perfectionism, procrastination, and inconsistency), and what it actually takes to feel safe enough to show up fully in your business.

Being a Stay at Home Mom and a Business Owner Are Two Different Jobs
2026/04/08
There’s a quiet expectation that if you’re home, your attention should be fully on your kids. And if you’re building a business, your energy should be fully there too. But what happens when you’re holding both?
In today’s episode, Emily talks about the reality of living in two roles that are each full in their own way. Not competing, but different. She unpacks the pressure to collapse them into one, the guilt that can come from feeling pulled, and what began to shift when she stopped expecting herself to operate like it was all the same job.
This isn’t about doing more or finding perfect balance. It’s about understanding your capacity, supporting your nervous system, and creating a way of living where both roles are allowed to exist without constantly feeling like you’re falling short in one of them.
If you’ve ever felt the tension of being at home while also building something meaningful, this conversation will help you reframe what’s actually being asked of you—and why it makes sense that it feels like a lot.

What You Don’t See Behind Scaling A Million Dollar Business
2026/03/11
What does it actually look like behind the scenes of a scaling business?
In this episode, Emily sits down with Lana, the operations director who has helped build Be THAT Girl alongside her. Together they pull back the curtain on what it really takes to grow a company — the early chaos, the systems that had to be built, the moments they had to push each other, and the evolution from a coaching brand into a real business.
They talk candidly about the tension between visionary and operator, the decisions that shaped the company, and the kind of leadership required for the next level of growth.
If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to turn a big vision into a functioning company, this conversation will give you a rare look inside the process.
