75 | When Money Means Losing What You Love: A Hypnocoaching Session with Heidi
2026/09/30
Sometimes a money problem isn’t really about the money. You can read the books, do the money mindset work, listen to the meditations, and consciously believe that money is available to you, and still find yourself repeating the same pattern. That’s where Heidi was when she came into this episode. Money would come in, sometimes in really significant ways, and then it would disappear. She’d spend it. A bill would show up. She’d avoid paying something even when the money was sitting in her bank account. And no matter how much she earned, she kept finding herself back in the same place. What made it even more frustrating was that she’d been able to change so many other patterns in her life, but this one wouldn’t move. So instead of staying at the surface and talking about budgeting, discipline or what she “should” be doing differently, we went to the root cause of the pattern. And we found a five-year-old little girl who had been trying to keep her away from something that felt dirty, gross, materialistic and unsafe. And even at 56, that part was still trying to help. What You’ll Hear Why Heidi could receive money but struggled to keep itHow she recognized that her relationship with money was the one pattern she hadn’t been able to shiftWhy her subconscious believed it was protecting her by getting rid of moneyThe realization that spending money first gave her a sense of control over losing itWhy paying a bill could emotionally feel like something was being taken from herThe moment Heidi realized her five-year-old self no longer had to be in chargeWhat shifted when she could finally become the adult that younger version of herself didn’t have Resources and Links Want help identifying the subconscious pattern beneath the area where you feel stuck? Your Next Steps If there’s an area of your financial life where you keep thinking, “Why do I keep doing this?” I want you to get curious before you judge yourself. What did money mean in your home when you were little? Did it mean arguments? Stress? Someone being gone all the time because they had to work? Did having more somehow come with losing something else? Sometimes the pattern we’re trying so hard to fix makes a lot more sense when we understand who created it and what they were trying to protect us from. You’re not five anymore, and the part of you that learned how to survive that version of life doesn’t have to be the part making every decision today. 🎙️ The Shift Your Story Podcast © 2026 Ally Rose | All Rights Reserved 💌 Contact: [email protected] ✨ Want to be coached on the podcast? 74 | She Built Success, Lost It All and Discovered What Wealth Really Means with Marta Sauret Greca
2026/09/23
Sometimes the thing we’re most afraid of actually happens, and suddenly, we’re left facing a much harder question than “How do I fix this?” Who am I if I don’t have the success I thought proved my worth? In this episode, I’m joined by Marta Sauret Greca, an entrepreneur, author, financial strategist, and mom of seven whose relationship with success and wealth has been shaped by everything from childhood instability and painful experiences as a teenager to building a thriving business and later watching her financial world come crashing down. Marta shares what it was like to experience significant financial success through her marketing agency and then find herself in what she calls a “financial dumpster fire.” She tried to file bankruptcy and couldn’t, she negotiated debts herself, and at one point, a deputy showed up at her home while she was away, and her children answered the door. And yet, looking back, Marta says living through the thing she once considered her worst-case scenario gave her something she didn’t expect: peace. Because she failed, but her children were okay, there was still food on the table, opportunities still came, life continued, and she rebuilt her life back better than before. And somewhere in that process, wealth stopped being something she could measure only by what was sitting in a bank account. We talk about how easily financial success can become tangled up with self-worth, why shame makes our hardest experiences feel even heavier, and what changes when we stop hiding the parts of our story we’re afraid someone else might uncover. Marta also shares the thinking behind her book, Completely Wealthy, and why she believes women need a more holistic conversation about money. One that includes financial strategy, yes, but also mindset, trauma, nervous system regulation, generosity, and the ability to actually feel wealthy instead of spending your life terrified that everything could disappear. Because you can have money and still live from scarcity. And sometimes losing what you thought made you successful is what finally forces you to figure out what wealth means to you. What You’ll Hear • How Marta’s childhood in Italy and her family’s unexpected move to the United States shaped her early relationship with security and achievement • The painful experiences during her teenage years that changed the way she saw herself • Why someone can appear confident on the outside while still carrying deep insecurity underneath • The connection Marta discovered between financial success and her sense of self-worth • What happened when her successful marketing business came crashing down • Why she tried to file bankruptcy and what she had to do when that wasn’t an option • The moment financial problems literally arrived at her front door • Why Marta believes there shouldn’t be shame around bankruptcy, debt or financial struggle • What surviving her own worst-case scenario taught her about failure • Why hiding our mistakes can sometimes give them more power • The difference between having money and actually feeling wealthy • Why Marta believes wealth has to include your emotional, mental and financial life • The inspiration behind Completely Wealthy and the women contributing their expertise to the book • Why generosity is an important part of Marta’s definition of wealth • Marta’s reminder to feel what’s hard without taking yourself, or life, too seriously Resources and Links Connect with Marta: Website: martasauretgreca.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Mtothepowerof7/  Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/martasauretgreca/  Upcoming Book Launch: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/completely-wealthy-book-launch-and-signing-tickets-1987366812635 Connect with Ally: Want help identifying the subconscious pattern beneath the area where you feel stuck? Your Next Steps Maybe this episode brought up something you’ve been carrying around: money, success, or the pressure to prove that you’re doing well. Pay attention to what surfaced. Where have you tied your worth to what you earn, what you’ve accomplished, or how your life looks from the outside? And what happens inside you when one of those things feels uncertain? You don’t have to have the perfect answer. Sometimes the first shift is simply noticing the story underneath the stress. 73 | What If Your Fear of Being Seen Is Really Perfectionism - A Hypnocoaching Session
2026/09/16
You can know you’re good at what you do and still feel your whole body resist the moment you have to put yourself out there. You can have years of experience, real results, people who trust you, and a deep belief in the work you’re here to do… and still feel a knot in your stomach when it’s time to market yourself, talk about what you do, or let more people actually see you. In this hypnocoaching session, we explore that exact tension. She became an entrepreneur after being laid off in 2023 because she wanted to continue supporting people through their cancer journeys, helping bridge the clinical and emotional sides of healing and bringing together medicine and meditation. She knows her work matters and that she can help people, but being visible is a different story. When we went underneath the procrastination and resistance, a much older pattern started to surface. This session became less about forcing herself to feel confident and more about understanding why being seen felt so uncomfortable in the first place. One of the biggest shifts came when she realized that the part telling her she wasn’t ready sounded a lot like her father. The fear wasn’t just about business. It was about perfectionism, approval, exposure, and a younger part of her that had learned it wasn’t safe to be fully seen unless she could somehow get everything right. What You’ll Hear: Why knowing you’re capable doesn’t automatically make visibility feel safeThe physical resistance that showed up when she thought about marketing and putting herself out thereHow childhood perfectionism became tied to approval and being seenThe belief that she still needed to learn more before she was readyWhat happened when we asked, “When will you ever know enough?”Why “I’m not ready yet” can sometimes be protection rather than truthThe moment she realized the voice holding her back sounded like her fatherHow unfamiliarity can feel like danger even when you’re actually safeThe difference between intellectually knowing you’re capable and feeling safe enough to act on itWhat shifted when she stopped needing perfection to give herself permission to be seen Resources and Links Want help identifying the subconscious pattern beneath the area where you feel stuck? If you keep telling yourself you need more knowledge, more confidence, more experience, or just a little more time before you put yourself out there, get curious about what “not ready” might be protecting you from. Because sometimes the thing keeping you hidden isn’t a lack of readiness at all. It’s an old belief that says you have to be perfect before it’s safe to be seen. 🎙️ The Shift Your Story Podcast © 2026 Ally Rose | All Rights Reserved 💌 Contact: [email protected] ✨ Want to be coached on the podcast? 72 | Discomfort Doesn’t Always Equal Danger: Why the Right Thing Can Still Feel Terrible
2026/09/09
Have you ever been completely sure you wanted to do something... right up until it was time to actually do it? You were going to send the email, set a boundary, ask for more, or put yourself out there, and then your chest tightened, your stomach dropped, you started second-guessing everything, and suddenly the thing that felt right yesterday felt like something you needed to get away from. That reaction is real, but the conclusion your brain draws from it may not be. In this episode, I’m digging into something I say to clients all the time: discomfort doesn’t always equal danger. Because there is a difference between your body alerting you to an actual threat and your nervous system reacting because something is unfamiliar, uncertain, vulnerable, or outside the identity you’ve learned to live inside, and that difference matters. Sometimes discomfort absolutely is information that something isn’t right. I’m not interested in teaching you to override genuine danger, ignore boundary violations, or bulldoze your nervous system in the name of “growth.” But sometimes the guilt after saying no isn’t proof that your boundary was wrong. Sometimes feeling exposed when you charge more doesn’t mean you’re asking too much. Wanting to grab the task back from someone who is helping you doesn’t mean receiving support is wrong for you. Sometimes your brain is simply encountering something it doesn’t have a file for yet. And if you’ve spent years being the strong one, the responsible one, the one who handles everything, that new discomfort can feel enormous. The interesting part is that you may already have an incredibly high tolerance for discomfort. You’ve just gotten very good at tolerating the kind that keeps your existing identity intact: exhaustion, overfunctioning, carrying too much, fixing everyone else’s feelings, staying in familiar situations you’ve outgrown. The discomfort of doing something different can feel much harder. This episode is about learning to tell the difference between discomfort and danger, and we don’t do that by convincing yourself that everything is safe or ignoring what your body is telling you. We do it by getting curious enough to ask what your system thinks is happening, then giving your brain new evidence when the situation really is safe enough to move through. Because self-trust isn’t knowing you’ll always make the perfect decision. It’s knowing that if the conversation is awkward, someone says no, you change your mind, you feel embarrassed, or things don’t work out exactly as planned, you’re still capable of staying with yourself through what happens next. What You'll Hear The difference between discomfort, danger, uncertainty, activation, and safetyWhy a nervous-system response can be completely real even when the conclusion attached to it is outdatedHow guilt after setting a boundary can be unfamiliarity rather than evidence that you did something wrongWhy receiving help can feel threatening when doing everything yourself has become part of your identityHow familiar pain can sometimes feel safer than unfamiliar peaceWhy high achievers may already have an enormous tolerance for discomfort, just not necessarily the kind that creates changeHow avoidance teaches the brain that uncomfortable feelings must be escapedWhy rewiring happens through small, tolerable experiences rather than forcing yourself through overwhelmA different way to think about intuition when your gut also carries historyThe question that can help you distinguish “I don’t want this” from “I want this and I’m scared of what might happen”Why self-trust is less about certainty and more about knowing you can handle what happens next Resources and Links Want help identifying the subconscious pattern beneath the area where you feel stuck? Your Next Steps Think about something you genuinely want. Not something that sounds impressive. Not something someone else wants for you. Something that actually feels like yours. Then ask yourself: If I knew I could handle whatever happened next, would I still want this? If the answer is no, that matters. If the answer is yes, ask one more question: What feeling would I have to be willing to experience in order to move toward it? Maybe it’s uncertainty. Guilt. Vulnerability. Disappointment. Being misunderstood. Hearing no. You don’t necessarily need to make that feeling disappear before you move. You may need to show your brain, through experience, that you can feel it without abandoning yourself. 🎙️ The Shift Your Story Podcast © 2026 Ally Rose | All Rights Reserved 💌 Contact: [email protected] ✨ Want to be coached on the podcast? 71 | Why You’re Blocking the Loving Relationship You Say You Want: A Hypnocoaching Session
2026/09/02
Sometimes you can want love with your whole heart and still have a part of you doing everything it can to keep it at a distance. You can have the standards, do the inner work, and know deep down now what kind of relationship you want.  You can spend years waiting for something healthy and aligned… and still find yourself wondering why love doesn’t seem to happen the way you’ve hoped it would. In this hypnocoaching session, we explore that exact tension. She came into the session feeling like there had to be some kind of subconscious block around love. She’d spent most of her adult life single, and when relationships did come along, she noticed a painful pattern: she would hold onto her standards for a long time, eventually meet someone who checked most of the boxes, make excuses for what was missing… and end up in another relationship that didn’t work. But when we went underneath the pattern, the “block” wasn’t what you might expect. This session became less about forcing a block to disappear and more about understanding why it existed in the first place, appreciating what it had been trying to do, and beginning to create a different relationship with love, safety, and trust. What You’ll Hear: Why wanting a relationship consciously doesn’t always mean every part of you feels safe receiving oneThe protective part that surfaced when we explored what was blocking loveHow an early relationship shaped beliefs about strength, safety, and what love could feel likeThe connection between loneliness, standards and choosing someone you already sense isn’t right for youWhy self-trust became such an important part of the sessionWhat happened in her body when we started talking about truly holding her standardsThe fear underneath the question, “What if I’m alone for another ten years?”How we worked with the part of her that had been protecting her for 23 yearsThe shift from needing protection from love to creating safety within herselfWhat it can look like to become available for a relationship without abandoning yourself to get one Resources and Links Want help identifying the subconscious pattern beneath the area where you feel stuck? If you’ve been telling yourself you want love while also noticing that relationships keep following a familiar pattern, get curious about the part of you that might be trying to protect you. 70 | September Is the Second New Year: Stop Starting Over. Start Informed.
2026/08/26
There’s something about September that makes you want to look at your life differently. Maybe it’s years of back-to-school conditioning. Maybe it’s the change in the light, the routines settling back in, or that first morning when the air feels just a little different. Whatever it is, September can carry that same “new year” energy January does. But there’s one really important difference: by September, you have receipts. You’ve lived eight months of the year already. So now you know what you said you wanted, what you actually kept coming back to, what fell apart, what kept draining you, what changed, and what you might not even want anymore. That doesn’t mean September needs to become pressurized like January often feels. The first eight months aren’t evidence that you failed. They’re information. In this episode, I’m talking about what happens when you stop using reflection to grade yourself and start using it to understand yourself. Because if a pattern has repeated all year, there’s probably more happening underneath it than “I need to try harder.” Maybe you’ve realized the goal you wrote down in January doesn’t even fit the person you are now. You don’t owe January-you blind loyalty. They were working with the information they had then, and you have more information now. So instead of asking, “How much can I accomplish before December 31st?” I want to ask something different: What have the first eight months already shown you about yourself? And what changes when you actually use that information? What You’ll Hear Why September can feel like a second New Year, even decades after you’ve left schoolThe difference between starting over and starting informedWhy your behavior is data, not evidence in a case against yourselfHow subconscious beliefs can keep a pattern going even when you consciously want something differentWhy “I was inconsistent” describes what happened but doesn’t explain whyHow to tell whether you actually want a goal or you want what you believe achieving it will mean about youThe question, “If nobody knew, would I still want this?”Why resistance may be an outdated form of protection rather than self-sabotageHow one small pattern shift can create ripple effects across your lifeWhy the goal for the last four months doesn’t have to be to “finish strong”What it could look like to finish the year differently instead Resources and Links Want help identifying the subconscious pattern beneath the area where you feel stuck? Take the free five-minute Spot the Block assessment at spottheblock.app.Ready to explore your patterns with deeper, personalized support? Your Next Steps Think about the thing you are absolutely exhausted from having the same conversation with yourself about. The one that makes you think, “I cannot believe we are still talking about this.” And start there. But before you make another plan to fix it, get curious about what keeps happening. What do you feel right before the pattern kicks in? What are you anticipating? What seems to change when you get closer to the thing you say you want? You don’t need fifteen new habits or an entirely new life by December. Maybe your September reset is simply seeing one pattern more clearly than you could before. Because January was intention and September has information, and you get to decide what you do with it. 🎙️ The Shift Your Story Podcast © 2026 Ally Rose | All Rights Reserved 💌 Contact: [email protected] ✨ Want to be coached on the podcast? 69 | The Cost Of Staying The Same: The Hidden Price Of Delaying Change
2026/08/19
We spend a lot of time calculating what change might cost us. The money, the time, the risk, or the possibility that we’ll make the wrong decision, disappoint someone, lose something, or invest in ourselves and still not get the outcome we hoped for. But there’s another side of that calculation we don’t make nearly as often: What is it already costing me to stay exactly where I am? Because staying the same isn’t free. Sometimes the cost looks like Sunday night anxiety you’ve started treating as normal, the resentment that builds every time you say yes when your body is screaming no, or the energy you pour into work at the expense of your health, relationships, creativity, or peace of mind. And sometimes the cost doesn’t become obvious until years have passed. In this episode, Safiya and I talk about the different “currencies” we’re spending every day and why the price of staying stuck can be much higher than money. We get into the subconscious patterns that keep us delaying until we somehow feel completely ready. We also talk about the grief that can come when you look back and realize how long you’ve been living inside a pattern that no longer fits. This isn’t about shaming yourself for what you should have done sooner. It’s about being willing to look at the whole bill. Because sometimes waiting is wisdom. Sometimes you genuinely need more information, stability, healing, money, time, or support before making a change. And sometimes “I’m not ready yet” becomes somewhere to hide. One of the questions we come back to in this conversation is simple: What am I hoping will be different if I wait? If there’s a concrete answer, listen to that. But if you’ve been waiting to feel more confident, less afraid, less doubtful, or completely certain before you begin… you may be waiting for a version of yourself that can only emerge after you move. What You’ll Hear Why we tend to calculate the obvious cost of change while overlooking the hidden cost of staying the sameThe different currencies we’re spending beyond money, including time, health, energy, relationships, creativity, and peace of mindHow overinvesting in one area of your life can mean taking resources away from anotherWhy the consequences of staying stuck often happen slowly enough that they start to feel normalThe grief and regret that can surface when you realize how much time has passedHow subconscious patterns can affect what you earn, what you ask for, what you believe you’re worthy of receiving, and what you do when opportunities arriveThe difference between honoring your timing and endlessly postponing your lifeOne question that can help you recognize whether you’re genuinely waiting or hidingWhy the patterns you repeat can affect your children, relationships, workplaces, and future generationsA simple way to look at where you’re investing your time, money, energy, and attention, and what those choices may be costing you elsewhere Resources and Links Want help identifying the subconscious pattern beneath the area where you feel stuck? And what might that investment be costing you somewhere else? Then look at the area of your life you keep thinking about changing, investing in, or giving more attention to. Instead of asking only, “What will it cost me to change this?” ask the other question too: “What is it costing me to keep this exactly the same?” You don’t need to reinvent your entire life today. But you do need to be able to see the pattern before you can choose something different. 🎙️ The Shift Your Story Podcast © 2026 Ally Rose | All Rights Reserved 💌 Contact: [email protected] ✨ Want to be coached on the podcast? 68 | Your Patterns Are Teachers: What Are Yours Trying To Teach You?
2026/08/13
Have you ever caught yourself doing the same thing again? Maybe it’s a completely different relationship, but somehow you’re having the same argument. Maybe the opportunity you’ve been saying you wanted finally arrived, and now you can think of every possible reason not to move toward it. Or maybe it’s the same money stress, resentment, exhaustion, or promise that next time you’ll handle things differently. And then you get frustrated with yourself. You start asking: Why am I still doing this? Why haven’t I figured this out yet? What is wrong with me? But what if the pattern isn’t showing up to prove that you’ve failed? What if it’s trying to get your attention? In this episode, we explore seven different “pattern teachers” and what the recurring cycles in your life may be trying to reveal. This isn’t about blaming yourself for everything that has happened to you. It also isn’t about pretending that every painful experience happened for some beautiful, perfect reason. Some things just hurt because they hurt. But the patterns that follow you from relationship to relationship, job to job or year to year may still be carrying information. And when you stop treating the pattern like the enemy, you may finally be able to hear what it has been trying to say. What You'll Hear Why recurring patterns are rarely as random as they seemThe difference between taking responsibility and blaming yourselfHow the mirror teacher reflects your relationship with yourselfWhy procrastination, perfectionism, and people-pleasing may be protectiveWhat physical and emotional pain can reveal when you stop adapting around itHow resentment and exhaustion can point to an ignored boundaryWhy the same lesson may keep returning through different people and situationsThe identity stories underneath overworking, proving, and never feeling satisfiedHow a repeating pattern can become an invitation to respond differentlyA gentler way to uncover the block beneath the behavior Resources and Links Want help identifying the subconscious pattern beneath the area where you feel stuck? You don’t have to force an answer, but sometimes noticing the pattern is the beginning. Sometimes asking a different question is enough to help you see the next ten feet of the road. 🎙️ The Shift Your Story Podcast © 2026 Ally Rose | All Rights Reserved 💌 Contact: [email protected] ✨ Want to be coached on the podcast? 67 | You Have Clarity, You Just Don’t Trust It Yet: Why “I Don’t Know” Can Feel Safer Than Admitting What You Want
2026/08/05
Sometimes “I don’t know” is the most honest answer you have, and sometimes it’s where the conversation ends. You tell yourself you don’t know what you want, why the same pattern keeps repeating, or what the next step should be. Not necessarily because there is nothing inside you, but because knowing can feel risky. Once you name what you want, you may have to face the possibility of failing, disappointing someone, becoming more visible, or realizing that the life you have been tolerating no longer fits. In this episode, I’m joined again by Safiya for a conversation about clarity, subconscious patterns, and the hidden ways we protect ourselves from change. We explore the two kinds of clarity that matter when you want something different: understanding where you are right now and identifying where you want to go. Like finding the “you are here” dot on a map, you need a starting point before you can choose a direction, but that honesty is not always comfortable. If you spent years reading the room, keeping the peace, being helpful, or paying attention to what everyone else needed, you may be deeply connected to other people’s expectations and disconnected from your own desires. Even admitting what you want can feel selfish, unsafe, unrealistic, or like a betrayal of the family, faith, or environment you came from. We also talk about the subconscious filters that shape what feels possible. A belief like “I’m not capable,” “I’ll probably fail,” or “people like me don’t do that” can begin to feel less like a belief and more like an objective fact. That is part of what makes our own patterns so difficult to see, we’re living inside them. The way we speak to ourselves feels normal. The role we keep playing feels familiar. The same frustration follows us into a new job, relationship, goal, or year, and we may keep changing the circumstances without recognizing what we are carrying with us. Clarity does not mean having the entire path mapped out, it may simply mean seeing the next ten feet clearly enough to move. What You’ll Hear Why clarity is the starting point for meaningful change. The difference between knowing where you are and knowing where you want to go.How “I don’t know” can become a protective strategy that keeps you from making the wrong decision, disappointing someone, failing, or being judged. Why focusing on what you do not want can still offer useful information about what is missing or no longer sustainable. How childhood roles, family expectations, and learning to keep the peace can disconnect you from your own wants. Why admitting what you want may feel uncomfortable, selfish, or unsafe. How subconscious beliefs become filters that shape what you believe is possible. Why familiar thoughts and patterns can begin to feel like objective truth. How to tell the difference between needing more information and facing a deeper subconscious block. Why you do not need certainty about the entire journey before taking the first step. The three questions that can help you uncover what is keeping you stuck. How Spot the Block can help you begin identifying the hidden belief or protective strategy beneath the surface problem. What am I afraid might happen if I actually did something different? Look for the thread connecting your answers. Notice the fear, assumption, feeling, or role that appears more than once. You don’t have to force yourself into a perfect answer or figure out the entire path today. 66 | When The Life You Wanted Starts to Feel Like Too Much: A Hypnocoaching Session with Erin
2026/07/29
Most people think the hardest part of success is getting there, but sometimes the harder part is staying there without your nervous system pulling the emergency brake. When you grew up inside unpredictability, you learn how to survive the highs and lows. You become incredibly good at reading the room, managing everyone’s emotions, staying useful, and keeping as much as possible under control. Then adulthood comes, and the chaos may look different, but the pattern can remain. Your business is growing, money is coming in, and opportunities open up. Life starts expanding in the direction you have worked so hard for, and suddenly it all feels like too much. You become overwhelmed, shut down, pull back, or somehow find yourself right back at the beginning, wondering why you cannot seem to let the good last. In this episode, I’m joined by Erin, a psychic mentor and spiritual coach, for a raw hypnocoaching session exploring what she calls the exhausting cycle of expansion and despair. Erin came into the session deeply self-aware. She understood the childhood chaos, the feast-or-famine pattern, and the ways her nervous system had learned to stay on high alert. But understanding the pattern had not stopped it from repeating. As we moved into the subconscious, the ideas of control, childhood responsibility, business growth, money, and the difference between creating success and feeling safe enough to sustain it. Because sometimes you are not afraid of failing, sometimes you are afraid that success will bring mmore pressure, more responsibility, more people to manage, and more chaos than you can hold. And sometimes the part of you that keeps pulling back is not trying to destroy what you have built. It’s trying to keep you inside the version of safety it learned a long time ago. What You’ll Hear How growing up around emotional unpredictability can create a lifelong need to manage yourself, other people, and everything happening around you.Why Erin’s adult life and business began repeating the same feast-or-famine dynamics she experienced in childhood. How being the “good girl” taught her to carefully manage her identity and behavior in order to keep the people around her okay. Why expansion can activate fear when more money, clients, opportunities, and responsibility begin to feel like more chaos. The difference between consciously understanding a pattern and actually changing the subconscious belief beneath it.How Erin discovered the internal “kill switch” that pulled her back whenever success began moving beyond what felt familiar. Why protective parts do not need to be eliminated, rejected, or abandoned in order for change to happen. The moment Erin transformed the kill switch from an emergency shutdown mechanism into a green light for joy, freedom, abundance, and growth. How the parts of us that once helped us survive can be given a new role that supports the life we are creating now.Resources and Links Want to explore the subconscious pattern beneath your own cycle of growth, overwhelm, and pulling back? 65 | No Is Where You Find Your Voice with Jimmy Clemens
2026/07/22
Most people think saying no is a boundary problem, but sometimes it is really a voice problem. When you have spent years being the dependable one, the strong one, the person who keeps the peace and makes things easier for everyone else, saying no can feel like more than turning down a request. It can feel like becoming someone people may no longer understand, approve of, or need in the same way. In this episode, I’m joined by faith-based poet and author Jimmy Clemens for a conversation about people-pleasing, identity, faith, and the moment you stop asking permission to choose yourself. Jimmy also reads his poem “Let’s Be Clear,” a powerful declaration that no is a full sentence and that your boundaries do not need to become a debate, a defense, or a carefully written closing argument. If you have ever said yes while everything inside you was saying no, overexplained a decision because you were afraid someone would be disappointed, or felt guilty for protecting your own time and peace, this conversation will feel familiar. Because sometimes no is not where you lose your connection to other people. Sometimes no is where you finally find your voice. What You’ll HearWhy people-pleasing often creates anger toward yourself, not only resentment toward other people. How early expectations can teach you that your worth depends on being strong, helpful, and easy to rely on.Why saying no can feel unsafe when your identity has been built around keeping the peace. What Jimmy means by radical clarity and how it changed the way he approached his time, relationships, and personal space. The moment he stopped overexplaining his choices and realized other people’s disappointment was not his responsibility to fix.How faith and poetry helped him separate other people’s opinions from the truth of who he is.Why you do not have to wait until you are completely exhausted or falling apart before you begin choosing yourself. 64 | The Shame Beneath the Money Struggle: A Hypnocoaching Session with Mia
2026/07/15
Mia came into this session wanting to understand her money block, but as we started following the thread, it became clear that the issue was not simply about making more money. It was about receiving it. And more than that, it was about whether her body actually felt safe enough to receive, hold, and be supported by more money once it arrived. Mia shared that money had always felt complicated. She grew up with scarcity, instability, and the sense that there was never quite enough, and even as an adult, the pattern kept repeating. Money would come in, sometimes even larger amounts, and then it would leave just as quickly. Bills would show up. Something would happen. Life would pull her right back into survival mode. What made this session so powerful was that Mia was not coming in with no awareness. She had done a lot of healing work already. She understood mindset, energy, ancestral patterns, emotional release, and the subconscious. She could name the belief underneath the pattern: I’m not worthy of receiving. But naming the belief and actually feeling safe enough to live differently are two very different things, and that is where we went in this episode. If you have ever felt like money comes in and immediately goes back out, or like you want support, but your body tightens the second it arrives, or like you are tired of surviving but cannot seem to fully let yourself receive more, this episode will give you a very different way to look at the pattern. Because the question may not be, “Why can’t I make more money?” The better question might be, “Does my body feel safe enough to receive it?” What You’ll Hear: Why Mia came into the session wanting to work on money, but the deeper issue was safety around receiving. How scarcity can stay alive in the nervous system, even when you have already done a lot of mindset, energy, and healing work. The difference between being able to receive money and actually feeling safe enough to hold it.Why money coming in and going right back out can sometimes be connected to protection, not irresponsibility. How early shame can teach the body that being seen, speaking up, or needing something is unsafe. Why the belief “I’m not worthy of receiving” is not always something you can think your way out of.How we worked with the protective part instead of forcing it to leave. 63 | Your “Bad Habits” Aren’t Bad: Why You Numb and What to Do Instead
2026/07/08
Half the time, you don't even clock that you're doing it. You tell yourself you're done scrolling, and somehow it's twenty minutes later. You pour the third glass of wine you didn't really want. You stand in the kitchen eating something you're not even hungry for. And the whole time, there's this quiet voice going, why can't I just stop? We've been taught to call these things bad habits, and to treat them like proof that we're undisciplined, or weak, or broken in some way we have to fix. But underneath almost every so-called bad habit is something much more human. A feeling you were never taught how to sit with, and a behavior that learned, somewhere along the way, to turn the volume down on it. In this week's episode, I'm getting into numbing. What it actually is, why we reach for it and why your bad habits were never bad in the first place. And what to do instead that doesn't involve forcing your way through, because we know that never holds. If you've ever quit the thing and somehow felt worse instead of better, or found yourself stuck in a loop where the numbing creates the exact feeling you're then trying to numb, this one is for you. Because the thing you keep calling a bad habit is usually a coping strategy that's been doing its job all along. And once you can see it that way, you stop fighting yourself and start actually freeing yourself. What You'll Hear: What numbing actually is, and why it's so different from the "bad habit" label you've been beating yourself up with. The numbing that hides in plain sight for high-functioning women, like busyness, over-preparing, over-functioning, and even wellness.Four honest ways to tell whether you're truly enjoying something or quietly numbing with it.Why our culture hands out trophies for some kinds of numbing and shames you for the rest. What we're really avoiding when we reach, and why so many of us were never given permission to feel it.Simple, doable tools for the moment the urge hits, including riding the wave and the hungry, angry, lonely, tired check. Why you sometimes feel worse right after you stop, and how to break the loop that feeds itself, one pause at a time. 62 | The Real Reason Your Business Feels So Heavy: A Hypnocoaching Session with Carrie
2026/07/01
Business self-sabotage is extra maddening because half the time, you are painfully aware of what you are doing while you are doing it.  You open the laptop, stare at the post, rewrite the caption seventeen times, convince yourself the offer is not clear enough yet, decide maybe the whole business needs to be reworked, and somehow end up doing everything except the one thing that would actually let people see you.  And the worst part is, you can usually explain all of it. But underneath all of that, there is often a much older question running the show: is it actually safe for me to be seen? In this week’s episode, I'm coaching Carrie, who came in because building her business felt heavier than she expected.  She wanted to help women through life transitions, especially the messy, lonely, identity-shaking ones she had lived through herself.  She had the lived experience, the heart for the work, and the desire to create something meaningful. But when it came time to put herself out there, she started the spiral of self-sabotage.  If you have ever wondered why the business you want can also feel like the thing you keep avoiding, this episode will likely resonate.  Because sometimes the thing you keep calling inconsistency is actually a younger part of you still trying to protect you from the exact kind of exposure your next chapter requires. What You’ll Hear: Why building a business can feel emotionally loaded even when you deeply want it.How visibility can bring up old fears around judgment, conflict, rejection, or being too much. How the “good one,” the “easy one,” or the “peacekeeper” can become the adult who is terrified to take up space. What it looks like to trace a business block back to the part of you that learned to hide. Why your next level may require more safety in your body, not just more strategy in your business. 61 | The One Small Change Method: The Missing Piece for When Trying Harder Stops Working
2026/06/24
“I feel like I’ve tried everything.” If you’ve ever said that sentence, you know the exhaustion underneath it. By that point, you’ve probably read the books, listened to the podcasts, tried the routines, downloaded the apps, deleted the apps, re-downloaded the apps, bought the planner, journaled the childhood wound, tracked the habit, abandoned the habit, and restarted the habit more times than you want to admit. And you’re not at the beginning of your awareness journey. You can probably name the pattern. You can explain where it came from. You can describe your nervous system response. You may even help other people see their patterns clearly, and still, you feel stuck. This week, I’m talking about why the answer may not be doing more, trying harder, or building another dramatic life overhaul. It might be one small change. One small shift your real life can actually hold. One small promise you can actually keep. One degree in a new direction that may not look dramatic in the moment, but over time changes the entire destination. I’m also walking you through the One Small Change Method and the structure of Mindshifts & Momentum, my new membership for deeply self-aware, high-functioning women who know what to do to build the life they want, but are tired of fighting themselves to do it. If you’ve tried everything and still feel stuck, this episode will meet you right there. What You’ll Learn: Why “I’ve tried everything” is often a sign that you need a different approach, not more information. Why lasting change usually happens in smaller moments after the motivation wears off.How the one-degree airplane shift explains subconscious change over time. Why small promises rebuild self-trust more effectively than giant declarations. What the One Small Change Method looks like in real life. What’s included inside Mindshifts & Momentum and how the membership is designed to support awareness, action, subconscious work, and accountability.
