Sixteen films in, and getting the whole GARAGE SALE MYSTERIES cast back in a room still matters to Steve Bacic. In this conversation, he talks about that reunion — and why the goal, this many films in, is still simple: give the fans a good movie. We start there: MURDER TAKES THE STAGE brought the entire team back together, and Steve talks about walking into the Shannon house again with everyone in the cast — what that first day felt like after all this time playing Jason Shannon. Then the premise: Jennifer's true-crime book club stages a reenactment of the Lizzie Borden case — and a real murder follows. Steve talks about what that mystery-inside-a-mystery setup let this story do that a standard case wouldn't.Being the supportive husband isn't quite enough this time around, either. Steve talks about the extra duties Jason takes on to help crack the case, and how quickly he and Lori Loughlin found their rhythm again as Jason and Jennifer.Sixteen films is a rare run for any actor with one character, and Steve reflects on what's changed in Jason — or in how he plays him — since 2014. And there's a moment late in the film that plays like a wink to longtime fans, the group coming back together for another mystery. Steve talks about whether that was written in as a nod to viewers, or just landed that way once the whole cast was back in the room.Plus: before any of this, Steve was headed for a career in sports. He talks about what he's actually watching these days.Subscribe for new actor, writer, and director interviews every week.#SteveBacic #GarageSaleMysteries #MurderTakesTheStage #HallmarkChannel #LoriLoughlin💛 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more interviews and content that are coming soon!Instagram: / heartinmotionmediaWebsite: heartinmotionmedia.comX: https://x.com/StephHeartnm

Eva Tavares has directed three Hallmark films in about nine months — The Christmas Baby, Texas Two-Step, and Love Finds You — and just picked up a Directors Guild of Canada (DGC) nomination for Outstanding Directorial Achievement for her feature directorial debut. In this conversation, she talks through her fast start behind the camera, working with the same actors twice, and what's next.We start with LOVE FINDS YOU. Eva talks about what made her want to direct a script then known as Return to Sender, opening the Fall Into Love event with a story that could've worked in any season, and what she had to nail in the first few minutes to sell the audience on Alex opening a stranger's package. She gets into directing Chris McNally opposite Aimee Teegarden — an actress she'd worked with before as a fellow performer on An Easter Bloom — finding the rhythm between two very different energies, and how her own background in opera and dance shaped the film's musicality. She also talks about encouraging the comedy of Chris McNally, who plays it much more buttoned-up on When Calls the Heart, and building the sibling bond between Chris and Natalie Sharp's Hayley in almost no prep time at all. Then TEXAS TWO-STEP. Eva talks about the dance rehearsals and her visual references for country music and dance-hall culture, directing Brendan and Heather Hemmens' pre-existing chemistry toward the specific relationship on the page, how the film's more grown-up spicy moments got approved and why they did plus what she wanted the story to celebrate beyond the romance.Plus: coming up through Hallmark's Make Her Mark program, shadowing Peter Benson on a Christmas movie, how directing has changed her as an actor, the musical she needs to pitch for When Calls the Heart, and her next film, Kitty Swipes Right — reuniting much of the production team behind Merry Christmas, Ted Cooper and A Reason for the Season.▶ More interviews: HeartInMotionMedia.com ▶ Instagram: @heartinmotionmedia#EvaTavares #LoveFindsYou #TexasTwoStep #HallmarkChannel #DirectorsGuildOfCanada💛 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more interviews and content that are coming soon!Instagram: / heartinmotionmediaWebsite: heartinmotionmedia.comX: https://x.com/StephHeartnm

Kim Coates joins Heart in Motion to talk about his role as Jeremiah Paulson in USA Network’s Anna Pigeon — and there’s some big stuff ahead for Jeremiah in Episode 6 and the rest of the season. We get into how Lea Thompson and the team approached casting Jeremiah, why Kim didn’t want to play him as the stereotypical Montana rancher, and how he built a character who can be remarkably still while creating an unmistakable sense of danger.Kim also takes us inside one of Jeremiah’s most memorable moments so far: the $600,000 land offer to Geoff in Episode 2. How do you play a threat when it’s disguised as a favor? We talk about Jeremiah’s complicated relationship with Anna Pigeon, played by Tracy Spiridakos, the chemistry between their characters, and what Kim enjoys about playing someone the audience is constantly questioning. And with Jeremiah’s story heading into some major territory in Episode 6, Kim gives us a tease about how his relationship with Anna evolves in the back half of the season — without giving away the spoilers.Plus, we talk about filming in Alberta, the stunning landscapes around Bragg Creek and Kananaskis, and what Kim learned from Sons of Anarchy about the power of television and getting to live with a character week after week.Anna Pigeon airs Fridays at 10/9c on USA Network.🎙️ Heart in Motion Podcast — Celebrating Stories That Move Us💛 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more interviews and content that are coming soon!Instagram: / heartinmotionmediaWebsite: heartinmotionmedia.comX: https://x.com/StephHeartnm

Natalie Sharp is having a big stretch — a Hallmark premiere and a Netflix season landing about two weeks apart — and in this conversation she talks through both worlds, plus the dachshund with his own fan account. We start with LOVE FINDS YOU. Natalie plays Hayley, sister to Chris McNally's Jack, in a story built around something more unglamorous than a meet-cute: Jack picking up extra shifts to help her with student loans. Natalie talks about building that sibling history with Chris, the dinner scene that doubles as our introduction to the "real" Jack, how much of Hayley she had to invent that's nowhere on the page, and the comedy and freedom in this role. She also talks about being directed by Eva Tavares — an actor herself who came up through Hallmark's Make Her Mark program — watching Aimee Teegarden and Chris build their chemistry from the sidelines, and shooting a citywide rom-com in her own hometown of Vancouver. Then MY LIFE WITH THE WALTER BOYS and Blake, who rides in in Season 2 when Alex is expecting a rodeo coach and gets a woman instead. Natalie talks about how Blake was pitched to her, building a character with something to prove and being underestimated in a male-dominated sport, how much of the riding is actually her, what changes for Blake in Season 3, and how Blake reads that gutting scene with Alex over Wylder's pills.Plus: her first day on set, playing a CW villain, a rodeo champion, and a volleyball player in The Miracle Season, whether physical roles find her or she goes looking for them, her roots as a singer and lead vocalist on Hit the Road, what she's noticed being part of the Walter Boys ensemble, and — of course — the story behind Walter, her dachshund with his own Instagram, @mylifewithmywalterboy.#NatalieSharp #LoveFindsYou #MyLifeWithTheWalterBoys #HallmarkChannel #Netflix💛 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more interviews and content that are coming soon!00:08:45 - Love Finds You00:29:45 - My Life With the Walter Boys00:57:10 - Getting to Know NatalieInstagram: / heartinmotionmediaWebsite: heartinmotionmedia.comX: https://x.com/StephHeartnm

There are interviews where you talk about the characters. And then there are interviews where you start to understand the person behind them.My conversation with Jefferson Brown is one of those.Jefferson Brown has had one of the busiest years of his career — four series and a Netflix thriller — and in this conversation he gets honest about all of it. This is one of my favorite interviews I've ever done.We start with CROSSROAD SPRINGS. Jackson Newman turned up in Season 1, Episode 7 with a lot more teeth than the good men Jefferson is known for playing, and he comes back in Season 2 with a wife and daughter nobody knew about. Jefferson talks about whether Jackson sees himself as the villain of that fight with Daniel or the only adult in the room, what it's like squaring off with Jesse Hutch, and how much of Jackson we get this season. Then WHEN HOPE CALLS and Joe Moody — the character Jefferson once said was written as the man he'd like to be. He looks back at three seasons of Joe and the near romance with Maggie, the show's arrival on Netflix on September 14, filming the lighter hotel scenes with Sam and Ronnie, and what he still wants for Joe when Season 4 arrives in spring 2027.And THE WAY HOME. Colton Landry is an unusual acting job — the audience meets him already knowing he's gone. Jefferson talks about playing a man who exists mostly as someone else's memory, Del's reunion with Colton in the final season and what that day was like with Andie MacDowell, the cast recording "Down By the Water," and where he is with the finale now that it's aired.Plus: Kevin and that Piña Colada duet opposite Brooke Shields in YOU'RE KILLING ME and a very interesting role as Dr. Jacob Heller in Netflix's I WILL FIND YOU.He gets vulnerable in this one. You come away knowing who Jefferson Brown is, not just the characters he plays. But the part of this conversation I'll remember most isn't necessarily a particular project. It's the moments when Jefferson let us see a bit of himself behind the characters he plays and the choices he makes in the profession. This is one of those interviews where I genuinely had goosebumps while recording.❤️ Crossroad Springs - premieres this week on Great American Family and Pureflix❤️ When Hope Calls - coming September 14th to Netflix (s1 and s2)❤️ The Way Home - Now on Hallmark Plus🔪 You're Killing Me - Now on AcornTV🔎 I Will Find You - Now on Netflix💛 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more interviews and content that are coming soon!00:02:-00 - Intro to the Projects and Getting to Know Jefferson00:11:33 - Crossroad Springs00:23:11 - When Hope Calls 00:37:48 - The Way Home 00:51:11 - You're Killing Me 00:56:30 - I Will Find You00:58:28 - Playing the different genres 01:01:41 - Bucket List Role01:04:30 - Project to go back and watch Instagram: / heartinmotionmediaWebsite: heartinmotionmedia.comX: https://x.com/StephHeartnm

Niall Matter sits down to talk Much About Love, Hallmark Channel's modern retelling of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, premiering Saturday, August 29 at 8/7c.Niall plays Benny opposite Ashley Williams' Bea — a director who comes home to stage some Shakespeare and runs straight into an old flame. In this interview, Niall breaks down how Benny fits into Bea's return, what it's like reuniting with Ashley five years after Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater, and what changed between the two projects. He also gets into the pressure of telling a story written by Ashley and her husband Neal Dodson, how the film's now much-talked-about table scene came together on the day, the Easter eggs Ashley tucked into the movie, and whether the magic of Much About Love lives in the comedy, the romance, or the collision of the two.💛 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more interviews and content that are coming soon!Instagram: / heartinmotionmediaWebsite: heartinmotionmedia.comX: https://x.com/StephHeartnm

Ronnie Rowe and Cooper Levy sit down to talk Anna Pigeon, USA Network's breakout new crime drama based on Nevada Barr's bestselling novels — and the two very different men orbiting Tracy Spiridakos' grieving park ranger.Fresh off the news that Anna Pigeon debuted as the highest-rated USA original scripted series premiere in nearly eight years, Ronnie and Cooper break down what makes Frederick Stanton and Jesse Garland tick. Ronnie digs into how Frederick — an FBI agent who is completely in control on a case — loses that composure the second Anna enters the equation, and where the line falls between pushing her and protecting her. Cooper talks about building Jesse from the ground up as a character who only partly exists in the original books, and what a bartender and environmentalist understands about Anna that a federal agent never could. They also get into the national park setting and what Alberta gave a show set in Montana's Glacier National Park, the moment this cast — pulling from Chicago P.D., Star Trek, Reservation Dogs and Wynonna Earp — clicked into place, and the question we made them answer directly: if you had to argue your character is the better match for Anna, what's the case?Anna Pigeon airs Fridays at 10/9c on USA Network.💛 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more interviews and content that are coming soon!Instagram: / heartinmotionmediaWebsite: heartinmotionmedia.comX: https://x.com/StephHeartnm

❤️📦 Sparks, comedy, banter, romance—and some seriously impressive box-ography.I’m joined by Chris McNally and Aimeé Teegarden to talk about Love Finds You, Hallmark Channel’s new romantic comedy premiering Saturday, August 22 at 8/7c.Chris plays Jack, a delivery driver who describes himself as decidedly “not perky,” while Aimeé plays Alex, a relentlessly perky and mission-minded woman who has a very different approach to romance. And the contrast is exactly what makes these two so much fun together.Chris and Aimeé talk about their natural chemistry, the quick banter between Jack and Alex, and how much of that dynamic came straight from the script versus what they discovered by playing off each other. We also get into the music behind the romance, Chris's surprisingly impressive box-ography, and the little Lucas Bouchard connection that When Calls the Heart fans may catch. Was it intentional or just by chance?Plus, we talk about the supporting cast and the people who help make this story more than just a two-person romance. ❤️ Love Finds YouStarring Chris McNally & Aimeé Teegarden📺 Premieres Saturday, August 22 at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel📱 Streaming the next day on Hallmark+🎙️ Full interview on the Heart in Motion Podcast.💛 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more interviews and content that are coming soon!Instagram: / heartinmotionmediaWebsite: heartinmotionmedia.comX: https://x.com/StephHeartnm
