Learn more or join the waitlist at https://saraduraes.com/survive-in-portugal/ 👋 "Olá e bem-vindos a mais um episódio de Learn Portuguese with Sara! Hi everyone, and welcome back to another episode of Learn Portuguese with Sara. Today I don't have a regular episode for you — I have something a little different. I would like to tell you what's been going on and what's coming next. Some of you may have noticed I haven't posted new episodes in a little while. The reason behind ir is that I'm actually having a baby, this July! — Yes, very soon! I know! — so things have been a little slower than usual. But I havent stopped working, and I've been using some of my free time to build something I'm really excited about. Estão prontos? Are you ready? So! I'm creating a full audiobook — called Survive in Portugal — specifically designed for people who are moving to Portugal and need real, practical European Portuguese from day one. It is actual a practical, real life scenario, phrasebook, not a portuguese textbook or grammar book. It's Real Life European Portuguese. The kind you actually need when you're standing at a Finanças office trying to get your NIF, or talking to your landlord, or ordering a bica at your local café without feeling lost. It's going to be a proper audio experience — bilingual, English and Portuguese — with 8 chapters covering the real situations you face every single day. And it comes with a PDF companion so you can read along as you listen. After years of teaching Portuguese, I know exactly where people struggle. And it's never the grammar. It's the real life stuff — the pharmacy, the bureaucracy, the neighbours, the moments where you freeze and wish someone had just prepared you. This phrasebook is that preparation. It's not ready yet — I'm building it carefully, and honestly, I'm also growing a little human — so bear with me. But if this sounds like something you need, or something you'd give to a friend who's moving to Portugal — stay tuned. Follow the podcast so you don't miss the launch announcement. Dont worry i will continue launching more episodes just at a slower pace! Thank you so much for listening, to this short, odd, episode! But more than anything thank you for your support, and for being part of this little community we're building. It has been so unexpected to have so many people listening and enjoying this podcast and is that growth is also thanks to you Obrigada e até já! :)"
