Just a quick note – this folktale is told in the spirit of Rabbi Nachman. It didn’t actually happen in a specific place. ‏I set it in France simply because I haven’t had a French accent on the podcast yet 🙂 ‏At its heart, the story asks: ‏Do we always need to face a stronger force head-on? ‏Or is there sometimes a smarter, more creative way to win—by outthinking the enemy, or even changing things from the inside?
