As Jehovah’s Witnesses, we weren’t allowed to celebrate any holidays. After leaving the faith, we embarked on the journey of figuring out what we actually believed and what we wanted to be part of our lives. In this episode, we look back on our first times celebrating the holidays, and the mixed emotions and discovery that came with stepping into traditions that were completely new to us.
