How did an American become the Manager of croatia? What is Baseball really like in this country? We take a deep dive into the grass roots of Croatian baseball. **Audio Issue Warning** This episode was recorded using Riverside FM. Somehow the recording got out of sync and at times it sounds like we are talking over Luke - I can only apologise for this. The interview is still great apart from those instances. Did you know Hungary invented a ridiculous amount of stuff.Hungary gave the world. The Rubik’s Cube, The ballpoint pen,Holography, and key early computer conceptsFor a country of 10 million, that’s wild brain density. But unfortunately at this moment in time, Baseball kind of isn't a thing. After a disagreement over olympic funding, the league has all but disbanded - we explain more in todays Podcast.

Slovakia, a country that knows how to lose repeatedly and still come back fighting - wait... let me explain that better in the podcast, it's really a compliment.

Vienna has more famous desserts per square metre than almost anywhere on Earth. Sachertorte, Apfelstrudel, Linzer Torte, Kaiserschmarrn — half of Europe’s comfort food comes from one little alpine country that decided butter, sugar and melancholy should go together. Just my opinion, but that would be the perfect accompaniment for a 7th inning stretch. Matthias snags a member of the Austrian Baseball Federation, Phil Weller for a chat on the current state of Austrian Baseball.

Matthias is fired up for Women's professional baseball starting next season in the USA, featuring several European origin players and we talk to Evan Opperman star of the Rättvik Butchers baseball team about his life and what it's like to play baseball in the nordics.  Please follow and subscribe, we really need your help to grow the channel!
