God Is a Root-Cause God: Faith, Healing, and Becoming Fully Alive with Dr. Ryan and Annie DeNome (Episode 49)
2026/09/30
In this episode, I sit down with Dr. Ryan and Annie Denome of The Wellness Way-Mason to explore the intersection of Catholic faith, physical health, healing, and the way God created us to live fully alive.
Dr. Ryan and Annie share their very different experiences with healing and how those experiences deepened their faith and changed the way they understand God’s work in our lives.
We talk about:
• What it means to see God as a “root-cause God”
• Why healing can look different from person to person, but how God is still pursuing us
• The connection between our physical bodies and spiritual lives
• The role of surrender, forgiveness, prayer, and rest
• How stress and constant busyness can affect our well-being
• Why our bodies are a gift from God that we are called to steward
• How caring for our health can help us more fully live our vocations
• And what it means to become more fully alive in Christ
This conversation is a beautiful reminder that God cares about the whole person, and that healing isn't always about simply getting back to who we were. Sometimes, it's about allowing God to transform us into who He created us to be.

"How Can I Pray For You?" The Most Loving Question You Can Ask (Episode 48)
2026/09/23
What if one of the most loving questions you could ask someone is simply:
“How can I pray for you?”
In this episode, I share the story that inspired me to think more deeply about this simple question, and why asking it can be such a powerful act of charity.
We live in a culture that often tells us to fix, control, solve, and give advice. But it isn't our job to fix people or control their circumstances. Sometimes the most loving thing we can do is bring someone to Jesus.
In this episode, we explore how prayer:
• Imitates Christ and forms us more deeply into His image and likeness
• Moves us from self-reliance to God-reliance
• Teaches us to surrender our will to God's will
• Bolsters our faith and trust when we don't have all the answers
• Cultivates compassion, empathy, and solidarity
• Breaks down patterns of self-centeredness and helps us love others more selflessly
• Allows us to pray for our loved ones, friends, enemies, and even strangers
I also share four practical ways to live this out, a challenge for you for the week, and I end with a prayer to help you go out there and a prayer warrior for someone in need.

SoulCore: Prayer, Movement & the Rosary for a Whole and Holy Life with Colleen Scariano & Deanne Miller (Episode 47)
2026/09/16
What if movement could become prayer, and your daily life could become a living rosary?
In this episode, I’m joined by Colleen Scariano and Deanne Miller, co-founders of SoulCore, a Catholic prayer experience that combines the rosary with functional movement to engage the whole person—body, mind, and soul.
Colleen and Deanne share their own stories of faith, suffering, healing, and surrender that led to the creation of SoulCore, including the little “yeses” that allowed God to unfold their mission one step at a time.
We talk about:
• What SoulCore is and how it combines prayer with movement
• How the rosary can cultivate interior peace and help us grow in virtue
• Colleen’s experience of grief and her deeper relationship with the Blessed Mother
• Deanne’s story of healing and reordering her relationship with her body
• Why SoulCore is a prayer experience with movement—not a workout with prayer added on
• How SoulCore differs from yoga and why it was created as a Catholic practice rooted in Christ and the rosary
• Becoming a “living rosary” by carrying the virtues of Christ into our everyday lives
• Stewarding our bodies as gifts from God rather than trying to fix or control them
• What we can learn from Mary about receptivity, trust, and saying yes to God
• Why we don’t have to have everything figured out before taking the next step God is inviting us into
If you’ve been looking for a beautiful way to slow down, pray the rosary, care for your body, and deepen your relationship with Christ, I think you’ll love this conversation. And if this episode speaks to you, share it with a Catholic woman who could use a little more peace, prayer, and space to receive from God.

Biblical Womanhood: Lessons from Ruth on Faith, Friendship & Feminine Genius with Alli Koscal (Episode 46)
2026/09/09
What can the Book of Ruth teach us about what it means to be a woman rooted in Christ?
In this episode, I’m joined by Alli Koscal, author of the Love and Loyalty Bible study and founder of Finding Havens, for a rich and beautiful conversation about biblical womanhood and the timeless lessons we can learn from the book of Ruth.
Together, we talk about:
✨ What Ruth teaches us about obedience, courage, and meekness
✨ Why meekness isn't weakness
✨ The strength and beauty of the Biblical feminine genius
✨ What Ruth and Naomi can teach us about friendship and loyalty
✨ Why we need intentional, in-person connection and holy friendship
✨ The importance of rooting our identity in being beloved daughters of God
We also discuss how Finding Havens was born from a desire to help women slow down, connect more deeply with God and one another, and find peace in the midst of life's chaos.
At the heart of this conversation is one powerful truth: our identity isn't found in our roles, circumstances, relationships, or what we accomplish, but in knowing that we are beloved daughters of God.
At the end of the episode, Alli and I pray her beautiful Litany of Havens together.

How to Take Courageous, Aligned Action with God (Episode 45)
2026/09/02
Are you tired of feeling stuck? Maybe you've been praying, overthinking, and waiting for clarity—but you're still unsure of what to do next.
In this episode, we're talking about what I call courageous, aligned action—what it looks like to pray, discern, and move forward with God even when you don't have everything figured out.
We'll explore some of the deeper things that can keep us stuck, including fear, perfectionism, people-pleasing, insecurity, comparison, and the need for control. We'll also talk about the cost of staying stuck—and how, over time, we can stop dreaming and settle for a life that feels comfortable but not fully alive.
You don't need to know the entire path ahead. Sometimes, you simply need enough clarity to take the next faithful step and the willingness to trust God with the outcome.
If you've been feeling stuck, I hope this episode encourages you to dream again, surrender what you can't control, and take one courageous, aligned step toward the life God is calling you to live. 🤍
If you're a Catholic woman feeling called to grow in greater freedom and would like support along the way, I'd be honored to walk alongside you through Catholic life coaching. You can schedule a complimentary clarity call here or connect with me on Instagram @livingwholeandholy.
The Freedom of Emotional Responsibility: The Most Powerful Tool I Teach as a Catholic Life Coach (Episode 44)
2026/08/26
The Freedom of Emotional Responsibility: The Most Powerful Tool I Teach as a Catholic Life Coach
What if you're not as powerless over your thoughts, emotions, circumstances, and responses as you think?
As a Catholic life coach for women, emotional responsibility is one of the most powerful tools I teach. It's not about suppressing your emotions, it's about taking responsibility for what is yours to own and learning to respond with greater freedom.
In this episode, we explore the difference between emotional childhood and emotional maturity, the thoughts and excuses that can keep us stuck, and how cooperating with God's grace can help us grow in freedom and virtue.
Plus, stay until the end for a simple Emotional Responsibility Audit to prayerfully reflect on where God may be inviting you to grow.

From Running from God to Finding Freedom in Christ with Eddie Trask (A Catholic Reversion Story) (Episode 41)
2026/08/05
What a full-circle moment! Almost two years ago, I shared my conversion story with my husband on Eddie Trask’s podcast, Catholic Recon (Testimonies of Reverts and Converts). That experience helped inspire me to start The Living Whole and Holy Podcast, and now I had the joy of welcoming Eddie onto my show to share his own incredible reversion story.
Eddie was raised Catholic, walked away from the Church, and spent years searching for God in Protestant and non-denominational churches. But as he began asking deeper questions about Scripture, authority, and the history of Christianity, his search ultimately led him back to the Catholic Church.
In this inspiring conversation, we talk about:
• What led Eddie away from the Catholic faith
• His journey through Protestantism and back to Catholicism
• The question that changed everything: “By what authority?”
• Why the Eucharist is truly Christ’s body, blood, soul, and divinity, not merely a symbol
• The role of confession, repentance, and healing
• How his family discovered the beauty of Mary and the saints
• Why true freedom isn't the absence of rules, but freedom in Christ
• The fruits of returning to the sacraments and living the Catholic faith
Eddie's story is a beautiful reminder that God never stops pursuing us, even when we run from Him.

What if the biggest thing keeping you stuck isn't your circumstances, but the lies you've unknowingly believed about yourself?
In this powerful conversation, I'm joined by Fr. Jason Brooks, priest, Encounter School of Ministry graduate, and founder of the Regnum Christi Detroit Healing Ministry, to explore how false beliefs shape our lives and how Jesus wants to heal them.
Together we discuss:
✨ Why renewing your mind is essential to spiritual transformation
✨ The subtle lies the enemy wants every Christian to believe

✨ How to identify and renounce lies using prayer

Should Christians Practice Yoga? Catholic Author Linda Carl Shares Why She Walked Away (Episode 39)
2026/07/22
Many Christians believe yoga is simply stretching or exercise—but is that the whole story?
In today's episode, I'm joined by Linda Carl, author of Yoga Unveiled, former yoga instructor, and faithful Catholic, for an eye-opening conversation about yoga's spiritual roots and why it isn't compatible with the Christian faith.
As someone who spent years immersed in yoga, Reiki, eastern meditation, and New Age spirituality before encountering Jesus Christ, this conversation was especially meaningful to me. Linda and I share parts of our own journeys, discuss what ultimately led us away from these practices, and explain why true peace is found in Christ alone.
Whether you've practiced yoga yourself, have loved ones who do, or have simply wondered what the Catholic Church teaches, this episode offers clarity, compassion, and hope.
In this episode we discuss:
Linda's journey from "sacramentalized but not catechized" Catholic to passionate disciple of Christ Why yoga is much more than physical exercise The Hindu roots of yoga and the true meaning behind many common poses, chants, and practices The spiritual dangers of Reiki, chakras, Kundalini yoga, and other New Age practices Why so many Christians unknowingly mix their faith with New Age spirituality How Jesus offers a peace the world can never give Practical steps for anyone who wants to leave yoga or New Age practices behind The beauty of the sacraments, confession, prayer, and authentic Christian healing If this episode encourages you, please consider sharing it with someone who may benefit from hearing it.

From People-Pleasing to Holy Freedom: How to Stop Living For the Approval of Others and Start Living For God
Part 2: The Spiritual Roots of People Pleasing
Welcome to Part 2 of this special 3-part series on breaking free from people-pleasing and learning to live for the approval of God instead of the approval of others.
In Part 1, we uncovered what people-pleasing is and why it disguises itself as a counterfeit virtue.
Now we're asking a deeper question:
Why does people-pleasing have such a grip on our hearts?
In this episode, we uncover the spiritual roots of people-pleasing by looking at Scripture, the Catechism, and the wisdom of the saints. Together, we'll discover why this struggle isn't simply a personality trait or bad habit—it's a matter of misplaced identity, disordered love, and forgetting whose approval matters most.
In this episode, you'll discover:
🤍 How people-pleasing traces all the way back to the Garden of Eden
🤍 What Scripture teaches about the fear of man and the freedom that comes from fearing God above all else
🤍 What we can learn from Adam and Eve, St. Peter, Pontius Pilate, and Our Blessed Mother
🤍 How pride and distrust of God quietly fuel people-pleasing
🤍 Why seeking the approval of others can never satisfy the deepest longing of your heart
🤍 How rooting your identity in Christ changes everything
🤍 Why authentic freedom begins when God's opinion matters more than anyone else's
As we close this episode, I invite you to pray the Litany of Humility, asking Jesus to free your heart from the need for human approval and deepen your trust in His love.

From People-Pleasing to Holy Freedom (Part 1): The Counterfeit Virtue: Unmasking People-Pleasing (Episode 36)
2026/07/01
New Podcast Series:
From People-Pleasing to Holy Freedom: How to Stop Living For the Approval of Others and Start Living For God
Part 1: The Counterfeit Virtue
I'm so excited to welcome you to this brand-new 3-part series about one of the biggest struggles I see in Catholic women—and one I personally had to overcome myself.
Over the next three episodes, we'll explore how to stop living for the approval of others and start living for God.
Most women have never been told that people-pleasing is more than an unhealthy habit. It's often praised as kindness, selflessness, or simply "being a good person." But when our desire for the approval of others becomes greater than our desire to please God, it quietly steals our peace, our identity, and our freedom.
Throughout this series, we'll uncover the lies behind people-pleasing, examine what Scripture and the Catholic faith teach about it, and discover how to root our identity in Christ so we can live whole, holy, and free.
🤍 In Part 1, you'll learn:
• What people-pleasing actually is—and what it isn't
• Why it often disguises itself as kindness, humility, and charity
• The hidden emotional and spiritual costs of living for the approval of others
• The four false identities people-pleasing creates
• Practical, everyday examples of how it shows up in work, marriage, parenting, friendships, faith, and decision-making
• A simple homework exercise to help you begin recognizing these patterns in your own life
This episode isn't about guilt or shame.
It's about awareness.
Because awareness isn't condemnation—it's the beginning of freedom.
📖 Scripture for the Series
"Am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ." — Galatians 1:10

Where did people-pleasing come from?

How God Grows a Calling One “Yes" at a Time With Kristin Bryant From Novena Cards (Episode 35)
2026/06/24
What if the calling God has placed on your heart isn't revealed all at once—but grows through each faithful "yes"?
In this week's episode, I sit down with Kristin Bryant, founder of Novena Cards, to share her incredible journey of returning to the Catholic faith and discovering the mission God had been preparing her for all along.
From working as a dental hygienist to creating greeting cards, discerning religious life, and unexpectedly losing her job during the pandemic, Kristin reflects on how every season—even the ones that didn't seem connected—became part of God's greater plan.
Our conversation is a beautiful reminder that God rarely asks us to have everything figured out. Instead, He simply invites us to trust Him with the next step. As we continue saying "yes," He faithfully shapes our hearts, reveals our purpose, and grows the calling He has placed within us.
In this episode, we discuss:
✨ Kristin's journey back to the Catholic Church and how the Eucharist changed everything
✨ Learning to discern God's voice through prayer and the spirituality of St. Ignatius
✨ Why courage often comes before clarity
✨ How God uses every season—even the unexpected ones—to prepare us for our vocation
✨ The story behind Novena Cards and how one simple idea became a ministry that encourages thousands in prayer
✨ The beauty and power of praying novenas for ourselves and others
If you've been wondering whether God is calling you to something more, or you're navigating a season of discernment, this episode is a gentle encouragement to trust that He is already at work. You don't need to know the entire path—you only need the grace to say "yes" to the next step.
Because God grows a calling one faithful "yes" at a time.
