A beautiful, challenging course in Chattanooga, TN, put on by the awesome crew at Bad Beard Events. Tough miles, gritty climbs, and all the good vibes.
Sal battled through an ankle injury and still snagged 2nd female — pure toughness.
Patrick led the charge, pushing through pain and showing what grit really looks like.
Hard course, strong effort, unforgettable experience… and Chattanooga absolutely delivered the vibes.

The Bellringer Ultra: When Grit Meets Humility
2025/12/14
This week on the pod, we ventured out to Montgomery Bell State Park for our first ultra race—the Bell Ringer. Our families camped out along the course, lifting our spirits and filling our hearts at just the right moments.
We fell. We laughed. We almost cried. But we kept moving and made it to the finish.
After 32.75 miles of tough trail, we walked away humbled, grateful, and full-hearted. This race reminded us of the power of community, perseverance, and showing up even when it’s hard.
Huge shoutout to @bellringertrailrun for a beautifully run race and for hosting it in a place that so clearly reflects God’s creation.
Thanks for joining us on the run. 🏔️✨

When Recovery is Running
2025/11/22
This week on the pod, we dive into recovery; for our minds and our bodies. Sometimes rest looks like sleep, cold plunging, red light, and sauna, but we've also discovered that the best recovery is figuring out what your mind needs too. In our case this is oftentimes more running. We don't have it all figured out, but we're learning every day. Thanks for listening, we can't wait to share it with you, and as always thanks for joining us on the run.
Natchez Trace: Trees, Trails & Total Vibes
2025/11/14
In this episode, we finally dive into our unforgettable experience with @hardwinadventures on the Natchez Trace trail run. We break down our favorite moments on the course, the lessons we learned along the way, and the community that made the day so special. One of the highlights was taking the Runner’s Oath before we began — a reminder of why we show up, why we run, and who we’re running for.
The Runner’s Oath (credit: Hardwin Adventures):
I promise to push myself
Protect my fellow runner
Respect the earth I run on
And always be humble
Lace up and come along as we relive the miles, the memories, and everything the trail taught us. Thanks for joining us on the run!

Fuel the Run- Carbs, Chaos & Everything in between
2025/10/20
Turns out coffee and good vibes only gets you so far...especially past mile 10. This week, we're diving into fueling for running—what works, what doesn't, and a few lessons learned along the way. From gels and chews to real food and race-day thoughts and planning, we're sharing our go-to fuel strategies and stories from the miles. We're not experts, just runners figuring it out—one long run at a time and snack stop along the way. Thanks for joining us on the run!
