(2026_10_26) - Authority and Submission: Raising Spiritual Leaders - Juniors BM - Pastor James Akinjide
2026/10/27
In this episode of the Gadites USA Juniors meeting, Pastor James taught on Submission and Raising Spiritual Leaders, emphasizing that submission is the culture of the kingdom and that no one can lead well without first learning to follow.
We learned that Jesus Himself modeled submission to the Father, and that every believer is called to lead a quiet, peaceable, and godly life as an example to others. Submission takes several forms: to God’s Word, to the leading of the Holy Spirit, to spiritual authority (vertical), and to fellow brethren (horizontal). Spiritual covering acts as a guardrail on the narrow path, and while pastors watch over our souls, they do not rule over our spirit, so we bring what we find in our spirit with humility and deference.
Ultimately, the teaching emphasized that submission carries a mission, which is growth and entering into salvation. Believers must stay connected to the family of God, anchor their lives in the unchanging Word, and embrace submission as a resource that pays dividends.
(2026_10_22)- Following God's Plan For Your Life- Seniors & Grad BM- Questions/Answers
2026/10/24
In this meeting, our Pastor taught on following God’s plan for our lives, emphasizing the importance of trusting His direction as we make decisions about our future. He explained that God has a plan for each of us, and that following His leading requires a conscious willingness to obey Him beyond our feelings and personal expectations.
We began by examining what life means and how people often define it through possessions, achievements, and opportunities. We saw that planning our lives involves deciding how we invest our time and energy. This makes it important to examine the future we are pursuing and the things influencing our choices.
In addition, we saw that our desires can be shaped by the lifestyles and expectations the world presents to us. Our feelings and careful planning alone cannot guarantee that we will make the right decisions. From Jeremiah 29:11, we were reminded that God has thoughts of peace toward us, to give us hope and a future, and that His direction takes into account what we cannot yet see.
Furthermore, our Pastor explained that beneath many of our outward desires is a longing for peace, joy, and fulfillment. Using marriage and career choices as examples, he showed that meeting our preferred outward conditions does not necessarily satisfy these deeper needs. We were encouraged to trust God’s wisdom, even when His leading challenges our preferences or changes the arrangements we have made.
We also learned that following God’s plan requires consistent fellowship with Him through prayer, attention to His Word, and obedience to the leading of the Spirit. We were encouraged to seek His direction before making major decisions, rather than copying others or allowing comparison to put us under pressure. God’s dealings with each person are unique, and we must learn to respect how He is leading us.
Ultimately, we were reminded of the importance of receiving pastoral counsel, remaining teachable, and maintaining loving relationships with the brethren. Increasing responsibilities should not draw us away from fellowship or the people God has placed around us. The meeting ended with a call to consecrate ourselves to God’s plan, choosing to do what He wants in every area of our lives.

(2026_10_14) - Introduction to the Doctrine of Christ - Pastor Israel Ajiboye.
2026/10/15
In this episode, our pastor began by explaining the importance of location in God's plan. God attaches significance to specific locations, both in the natural and in the spiritual.
In Hebrews 6:1, we see that the Church is instructed to move beyond the foundational principles of the doctrine of Christ and go on to perfection. However, before a believer can attain perfection, certain foundations must first be established as listed in Hebrews 6:1-2
The doctrine of Christ exposes the condition of our souls, particularly the way we think and perceive things. Our pastor explained that this is where the sin of the soul is revealed.
Another important foundation is milk, as explained in Hebrews 5:12. The Word of God is divided into different levels of feeding, including milk, meat, and strong meat. These divisions represent different levels of teaching and understanding of God's Word. According to Hebrews 5:13–14, the word of righteousness does not belong to milk users, and strong meat belongs to those who are of full age.
Our pastor also emphasized that our lives should become living epistles of Christ. A believer who has been transformed through the doctrine of Christ will be prepared to come unto Mount Zion. Obadiah 1:21 speaks of saviours coming upon Mount Zion. The people of Zion are those who have been shaped by the doctrine of Christ and are ready to progress toward perfection.
Furthermore, before a believer can truly understand doctrine, they must first be weaned from milk, as explained in Isaiah 28:9. Milk is associated with the ministry of the Holy Ghost. Knowledge is necessary for receiving doctrine, but there is a distinction between being taught knowledge and coming into an understanding of doctrine. Knowledge is taught, while doctrine must be understood and worked into the life of the believer.
Finally, our pastor explained that Christ is a mystery to the soul. This emphasizes the need for believers to continually submit themselves to the teachings of the Holy Ghost and the doctrine of Christ so that their understanding can be enlightened and their souls transformed.
