Description

We’re women who never stopped talking, questioning, debating — and occasionally challenging one another — about how to keep moving forward. We still love gathering, laughing, and talking things through, often with a glass of wine in hand, trying to make sense of what life has taught us so far… and what we’re still figuring out. Because the truth is, life doesn’t come with instructions — and the questions don’t stop just because you’ve lived a little. Which brings us to the title. So When Do I Take My Clothes Off? isn’t really about sex (though that may come up). It’s a metaphor for those moments when we quietly ask ourselves: When do I speak up? Let go? Start over? Try something new? Stop caring what everyone else thinks? Whether you’re navigating relationships, reinvention, loneliness, or simply wondering “Is this it… or is there more?” — you’re not alone. And if you need company, you can drop into a conversation with women who sound a lot like you — sharing stories, supporting one another, and telling the truth without pretending we’ve got it all figured out. We also know we don’t have to do this alone. So we bring in experts — from health and wellness to beauty, relationships, money, and longevity — people who help us understand our bodies, our choices, and ourselves without shame or hype. And yes, we love products. Smart ones. Thoughtful ones. Things that make life easier, healthier, and a little more fun. We are not invisible — we’re engaged, curious, and paying attention. So When Do I Take My Clothes Off? is a starting point — for conversations that begin with “When do I…?” We dig deep. We laugh (often at ourselves). We’re honest about where we are — and we invite you to be honest too. Because while some things change, our appetite for connection, clarity, and a good laugh absolutely hasn’t. Does Your Husband Have Friends? with Monica Corcoran Harel
2026/10/22
Well like all good things we experienced some technical difficulty on this recording...our apologies. We felt like what Monica had to say was so good that we decided to post it anyway so just a heads up. Does your husband have friends? And I mean REAL friends—not just your friends' husbands! 😂 Why is it that women seem to have girlfriends for everything, while so many men rely on their wives for their social lives? Is this a marriage thing, a male friendship thing, or something else entirely? Join Phyllis and me for a fascinating (and probably very funny!) conversation with writer Monica Corcoran@prettyripe), whose article My Husband Has No Friends got us thinking about friendship, marriage, and the differences between men and women. We have LOTS of questions, and we want to hear what you think! So tell us…does your husband have friends? 👇 Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Heidi Skolnik: What No One Tells You About GLP-1s
2026/10/11
GLP-1s are everywhere—but are we talking enough about what happens to our nutrition, muscle, and strength while we’re taking them? We had such a great conversation with nutritionist and exercise physiologist Heidi Skolnik, author of the new book Your GLP-1 Game Plan: What Your Doctor Didn’t Tell You About How to Eat, Move, and Thrive on Weight Loss Medications. We talked about what we should actually be eating, why protein and muscle matter so much as we age, and how to use GLP-1s without forgetting about the health of the body underneath the weight loss. Whether you’re taking a GLP-1, considering one, or simply want to know how to stay strong and healthy as you get older, there is so much good information here. And, as always, we asked the questions we wanted answered too. Watch the conversation and let us know what surprised you—or what you still want to know. Hosted on Acast. The Marvelous Mrs. Mahjong: More Than a Game
2026/10/04
In this episode, we sit down with Stephanie Brink, better known on Instagram as The Marvelous Mrs. Mahjong, to talk about how a game that has been around for generations became the foundation for a thriving business and community. Stephanie shares how she turned her love of Mahjong into a career and what she has learned along the way about taking risks, reinventing yourself, and creating something of your own. We also explore the surprising ways Mahjong can be a metaphor for life—from knowing when to hold on and when to let go, to adapting when the hand you’re dealt isn’t the one you expected. So When Do I Take My Clothes Off? Conversation with Christine Morrison
2026/09/27
We sat down with Christine Morrison, author of Clothes Minded, for a conversation about fashion, identity, aging and reinvention—and the stories our clothes tell about who we are and who we’ve been. We talk about how our relationship with style changes as we get older, the memories we attach to what we wear, and what happens when we finally start dressing for ourselves. And of course, we had to ask: So when do I take my clothes off? Maybe it’s when the clothes stop being about what we’re wearing—and start revealing who we really are. Christine Morrison is a renowned journalist and the creator of Writing in Black and White, a newsletter and online platform that explores fashion and beauty through the lens of aging. After a career in advertising and fashion, including time at Calvin Klein, Christine reinvented herself as a writer in her 50s. She’s now the author of Clothes Minded: Fashionable Essays About Finding Yourself, which uses the clothes she’s worn throughout her life to tell a much bigger story about identity, aging and reinvention. She the entire conversaton live on instagram @getinthegroove1. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
We Went Live: How Do We Live a Full Life With Fewer Regrets?
2026/08/30
We did something a little different this week—we went Live on Instagram with one big question on our minds: How do we live a full life with as few regrets as possible? That took us in all sorts of directions. We talked about staying curious and continuing to try new things, what we think we're actually good at, what we're proud of accomplishing, and why it can sometimes be surprisingly hard for women to say those things out loud. No guest, no script, no perfect answers. Just the two of us trying to figure out how to make the most of this stage of life—and reminding ourselves that there's still plenty we want to learn, try, experience and maybe even get wrong. Because perhaps having fewer regrets isn't about getting everything right. Maybe it's about staying curious enough to keep saying yes. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Dr. Kristen Lo Sicco: Why Is My Hair Thinning? The Truth About Hair Loss
2026/08/23
Hair loss is something so many of us experience, but we don’t always know what’s actually causing it, or what we can do about it. In this episode, we sit down with board-certified dermatologist and alopecia expert Dr. Kristen Lo Sicco to get the real scoop on thinning hair, hair loss and what happens to our hair as we age. We talk about everything from hormones, genetics, stress and nutritional deficiencies to the treatments that actually have evidence behind them, including minoxidil, supplements, PRP and red light therapy. Dr. Lo Sicco also answers some of our biggest questions: Is it ever too late to treat hair loss? Do expensive over-the-counter products really work? How long do you have to stay on treatments? And what should women know about hair-loss medications when trying to get pregnant? Most importantly, we talk about the shame and self-consciousness that can come with hair loss, and why wanting to feel like yourself again is not vanity. The Pink Pill: Challenging the Double Standards in Women’s Sexual Desire
2026/08/16
What if some of the things women have been told to simply accept aren’t actually “normal” at all? In this episode, we’re talking with entrepreneur and women’s health advocate Cindy Eckert about the double standards that have shaped women’s healthcare for generations, from sexual health and menopause to the way women’s pain and symptoms are dismissed. Cindy shares the story behind bringing Addyi to women, a pill she helped bring to market for women with generalized low sexual desire. Together, we'll chat about her belief that choice and knowledge are at the heart of better healthcare, and what it really takes to challenge an industry that hasn’t always taken women seriously. Plus, we talk about aging, intimacy, advocating for yourself, and why there’s no expiration date on wanting to live a full life. This week, we're talking to professional organizer and founder of Imagine It Done, Lisa Jacobs, about why decluttering is about so much more than cleaning out a closet. Together, we'll explore why it's so hard to let go of our stuff, how clutter can affect our mental well-being, and why creating space in our homes can help us make room for the life we're living today. Dr. Nicole Tyer: Are GLPs More Than Just For Weight Loss?
2026/07/26
GLP-1 medications have become one of the biggest conversations in health...but are they really just weight loss drugs, or could they be something much bigger? This week, we sit down with double board-certified physician Dr. Nicole Tyer to separate the headlines from the science. Together, we explore how GLP-1 medications may impact far more than the number on the scale, including heart health, inflammation, liver disease, kidney disease, dementia prevention, addiction, and healthy aging. Whether you're curious about taking a GLP-1 yourself, already on one, or simply wondering why everyone seems to be talking about these medications, this conversation offers an honest, evidence-based look at one of the most significant shifts happening in modern medicine. So when do I stop thinking about GLP-1s as weight loss drugs...and start thinking about them as something more? 2026/06/28
What if the key to feeling more confident, connected, and fulfilled isn't doing more, but finding your people? This week, we sit down with entrepreneur and Female Quotient founder Shelley Zallis to talk about the extraordinary power of women gathering together. From building community in business to creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported, Shelley shares why meaningful connections don't just happen; they're intentionally created. Monica Corcoran: Women Are "Quietly Quitting" Their Marriages
2026/06/21
In this episode, we sit down with journalist and author Monica Corcoran to discuss the conversation sparked by her viral article about women who are quietly leaving their marriages without actually getting divorced. What begins as a conversation about marriage quickly expands into a thoughtful look at emotional labor, evolving relationships, friendship, identity, and why so many women are redefining what fulfillment looks like in midlife. We also explore how our expectations of marriage have changed, the importance of staying curious instead of critical, and why honest conversations may be the key to growing together through every season of life. We hope this episode encourages you to ask better questions, embrace change, and create relationships that evolve with you—not against you. 2026/06/14
We've all had that moment: something's weighing on you, you can't quite unpack it alone, and your friends have heard enough. So... is it time to call a therapist? This week, we're getting into something a lot of us have quietly wondered about—whether therapy still has a place later in life. Not because something is broken, but because life keeps changing, and sometimes we need more than a good friend to help us sort through it. It's truly never too late to talk it out.
