Description
After Hours by Klaudia Rayne Beauty is where I share the real side of building KRB — beauty, business, trends, lessons, and behind the scenes conversations you don’t usually hear. This isn’t a polished podcast. It’s just honest talks, education, and advice, shared the same way I would with a friend after hours.

AFTER HOURS: TURNING A SPRAY TAN PROBLEM INTO A PRODUCT FT. EMILY OF V COOL TANNING CO
2026/10/07
She hated barrier cream… so she decided to create something better.
This week on After Hours, I’m sitting down with Emily Turner — spray tan artist, owner of Golden Hour, and the founder of V Cool Tanning Co.
We’re going all the way back to how Emily got started in the sunless industry and the frustration during her own appointments that eventually turned into an idea for V Cool.
And I was SO nosy about the product side of things.
Emily takes us behind the scenes of what it actually looks like to turn an idea into a real beauty product — finding a cosmetic chemist, testing formulas, investing in inventory, figuring out packaging + manufacturing, getting other artists to trust something completely new, dealing with restocks and all the very unglamorous things that happen behind the scenes of a product company.
We also talk about balancing Golden Hour with V Cool, the biggest lessons she’s learned as a founder, the moments that made her realize “holy shit… this is actually working,” and what she wants V Cool to become next.
If you’re a beauty pro who has EVER thought, “Why doesn’t someone make something that does ___?”… this episode might make you look at that idea a little differently.

AFTER HOURS: FROM SPRAY TAN ARTIST TO CEO | BUILDING A TEAM & SCALING FT. JENNA OF TLS SPRAY TANS
2026/09/30
What happens when YOU can’t be the one doing everything anymore? 👀
This week on After Hours, I’m sitting down with Jenna, founder of TLS Spray Tan Bar, for such a fun (and very real) conversation about going from spray tan artist to actually becoming the OWNER of a growing business.
We talk about starting TLS with just $500, getting booked enough to make that first hire, trusting other artists with the brand you built, managing employees, navigating the boss/friend relationship, delegating, opening multiple locations, creating systems, and learning that growing a business sometimes means letting go of doing everything yourself.
Jenna also shares the things she looks for when hiring, lessons she’s learned from managing a team, mistakes she’d avoid if she were starting over, what scaling REALLY looks like behind the scenes, and her advice for the artist wondering, “Am I actually ready to hire?”
And of course… there are plenty of laughs, unpopular opinions, business icks & stories mixed in. 😂
Whether you’re a solo beauty pro, thinking about making your first hire, already managing a team, or just love hearing what actually goes on behind a growing beauty business — this one is GOOD. 🤎

AFTER HOURS: FROM HEALTHCARE TO FULL-TIME SPRAY TAN ARTIST FT. EMILY OF EMK SPRAY TANS
2026/09/23
From a Master’s degree + career in healthcare… to building a full-time spray tan business.
This week on After Hours, I’m sitting down with Emily, the woman behind EMK Spray Tan, to talk about what it really looked like to walk away from the career she thought she was “supposed” to have and bet on herself instead.
Emily takes us back to the beginning of EMK — spraying clients before and after work from her basement (aka “the dungeon”), realizing her side hustle was becoming something much bigger, eventually leaving healthcare, and going from a home-based business to opening a storefront while continuing to operate both locations.
But this conversation goes WAY beyond spray tans.
We talk about building a business around confidence, the things women say about their bodies behind closed doors, creating an experience that makes clients feel genuinely GOOD about themselves, pricing + client retention, launching her own retail products, social media, business investments, boundaries, mistakes, and what she actually wants EMK to become next.
If you’ve ever felt like you chose one path and now it’s “too late” to choose another — or you’re building something on the side and wondering if it could ever become your full-time career — this episode is for you. 🤎

AFTER HOURS: SPRAY TANS, BRANDING & BUILDING AN APP?! FT. SPRAYS BY ABBS
2026/09/16
Spray tans, branding photos, social media… and building an APP?!
This week on After Hours, I’m sitting down with Abby, the girl behind Sprays by Abbs, to talk about how she turned spray tanning into a brand that feels completely her own — and why she’s not stopping there.
We get into how Abby started in the sunless industry, building a recognizable brand online, creating those insanely good branding shoots, and her best advice for beauty pros who want their content to actually stand out without copying what everyone else is doing.
Then we get into a completely different side of Abby: Toasted, the app she’s building with her brother. 🍞 She shares where the idea came from, what it’s really been like stepping from the beauty industry into the tech world, building a business with your sibling, and what she hopes Toasted eventually becomes.
We also talk social media, client experience, business investments, lessons learned, taking risks, having more than one dream, and what she would do differently if she had to start Sprays by Abbs all over again.
If you’re a beauty pro with a million ideas in your head who’s ever wondered if you’re allowed to build something bigger than the service you started with… this episode is for you. 🤎

AFTER HOURS: CELEBRITY SPRAY TANS, SCALING & BUILDING THE SUNLESS BAR FT. MADDIE ORCHARD
2026/09/02
From building a spray tan business in Utah to expanding into Nashville, tanning some VERY familiar faces, and turning a personal brand into something much bigger — Maddie Orchard has built The Sunless Bar with growth in mind. ☀️🍸
This week on After Hours, I’m sitting down with Maddie to talk about how she got started in the sunless industry, the evolution from Maddie Liz Tans to The Sunless Bar, and what it actually looks like to grow a brand across TWO different states.
And of course… we had to talk celebrity tans. 👀 We get into how Maddie started tanning members of the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast and other high-profile clients, what those appointments are really like, and some of the surreal moments that have come from building her name in Utah.
We also get into branding, websites + e-commerce, XTan, expanding your business beyond yourself, education in the sunless industry, what she’s building next with The Sunless Bar, and so much more.
If you’re a spray tan artist, beauty business owner, or someone with dreams of turning your service into something BIGGER than just a booked calendar — this episode is for you. 🤎

AFTER HOURS: FROM THE NAVY TO SPRAY TANS | REINVENTING YOURSELF FT. HOLLY OF THE SALTY SPRAY
2026/08/26
From 26 years in the U.S. Navy… to spray tans. ⚓️ This week’s After Hours story is one you NEED to hear.
I’m sitting down with Holly, the woman behind The Salty Spray in Birmingham, Alabama, to talk about a journey that looks a little different than your typical beauty business story.
Holly takes us through her incredible Navy career — deployments, life at sea, being a woman in the military during a very different time, and some WILD experiences along the way — before opening up about what happened when that chapter ended and she had to figure out, what’s next?
We talk about navigating civilian life, reinventing yourself, finding entrepreneurship, and somehow going from aircraft carriers to picking up a spray gun and building a mobile spray tan business.
Of course, we get into the business side too — starting The Salty Spray, finding clients, building a memorable brand, social media, lessons learned along the way, and why it’s NEVER too late to start something completely new.
This episode is so much bigger than spray tans. It’s about starting over, trusting where life takes you, and realizing that your next chapter might look nothing like the one you planned. 🤎

AFTER HOURS: BOOKED, BRONZED & BUILDING A BRAND FT. BRI OF BRONZED MONARCH
2026/08/19
This week After Hours gets a little more bronzed.
I’m sitting down with Bri, the woman behind Bronzed Monarch, to talk about what it really looks like to turn spray tanning into a BRAND.
We get into how she got started, growing a clientele in South Jersey, building a team and trusting other artists with your brand, finding your voice on social media, TikTok + content creation, navigating comparison and the business lessons we’ve both learned along the way.
And because this is After Hours, we obviously couldn’t keep it all business. We finish with a little Y2K rapid fire, unpopular opinions + plenty of girl talk. 💿💋
Whether you’re a spray tan artist, beauty business owner, content creator, or just love hearing what goes on behind the scenes of building a brand this episode is for you.
Grab your coffee, get comfy & come hang out with us. 🎙️🤎
AFTER HOURS: LET’S CATCH UP & WHAT I’VE BEEN UP TO
2026/08/12
A little life + business catch up 🤎 I’m taking you behind the scenes of what I’ve been up to lately. What’s happening with KRB, the season im in a business owner and some of the things I’m thinking about when it comes to growth, education, and always feeling like we need to do more!!!
AFTER HOURS: THE STORY BEHIND BEYOND THE BRONZE WITH BRITTANY QUINN
2026/07/29
In this week’s episode of KRB After Hours, I’m joined by Brittany Quinn, founder of Beyond the Bronze.
We talk about her journey through the beauty industry, what inspired Beyond the Bronze, the lessons she’s learned as a business owner, and what it’s really been like growing a brand over the years.
This episode is less about products and more about the person behind the brand. We discuss growth, resilience, leadership, and the experiences that have shaped Brittany’s career.
Whether you’re a beauty professional, entrepreneur, or simply love hearing the stories behind successful businesses, I think you’ll really enjoy this conversation. 🤍
AFTER HOURS: THE BUSINESS DECISIONS THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING
2026/07/08
In this episode, I’m sharing the business decisions that completely changed the direction of my career.
From starting my business and investing in education to launching trainings, retail, digital products, and saying yes to opportunities that felt scary at the time, I’m looking back at the moments that made the biggest impact.
If you’re building a beauty business or trying to figure out your next move, I hope this episode reminds you that one good decision can change everything.
AFTER HOURS: HOW TO BECOME MORE CONFIDENT AS A BEAUTY ARTIST
2026/07/01
In this episode, I’m talking about something every beauty professional struggles with at some point: confidence.
I’m sharing the things that genuinely helped me become more confident in my craft—from practicing on friends and family to learning from other artists without falling into comparison. We’ll also talk about why confidence isn’t something you’re born with, but something you build over time.
If you’ve been doubting yourself or waiting until you feel “ready,” I hope this episode reminds you that confidence comes from showing up, not from being perfect.
AFTER HOURS: FROM BEHIND THE TENT TO BEHIND THE BRAND WITH AUDREY LYONS
2026/06/17
In this week’s episode, I sit down with Audrey Lyons from Glazed Sunless for a conversation about business, growth, entrepreneurship, and what it really looks like behind the scenes of building a beauty brand.
We talk about where she started, what she’s learned throughout her journey, advice for artists looking to grow, and what it takes to stand out in today’s industry.
This one felt more like a conversation than an interview, and I absolutely loved it.

AFTER HOURS: A QUICK CATCH UP & SLOW SEASONS
2026/06/10
In this episode, I’m doing a quick catch-up and sharing what’s been going on lately in business and life.
I’m talking about navigating slower seasons, some thoughts I’ve had recently, and a few takeaways from my conversation with Kelly on last week’s guest episode. This one is short, casual, and feels more like we’re sitting down for a coffee chat than a formal podcast episode.
