2026/10/15
Meet Suzette author, speaker, mompreneur   More than twenty years ago, Suzette Webb traded corporate comfort for a calling she couldn’t ignore—and she’s been moving with purpose ever since. Today, she’s an entrepreneur, author, and inspirational speaker helping others turn uncertainty into forward motion. Her second book, Blues to Blessings: Moving from Fearful to Faithful—also available as an author-narrated audiobook—gets real about her journey from fear and frustration to restoration, clarity, and purpose. At the heart of that journey are four powerful phases: Awareness, Preparation, Transformation, and Service. Together, they offer a practical path from feeling stuck to living fully aligned. That framework sparked the PATH MethodTM, Suzette’s online course for the Stuck, the Searching, and the Spiritually Exhausted. It helps people cut through the noise, reconnect with faith, and find clarity about their divine path. Onstage, Suzette is equal parts honest, energizing, and encouraging. She helps audiences navigate the messy middle between fear and faith—and find the courage to take their next purposeful step. Her voice reaches beyond the page and the stage. Suzette hosts the devotional podcast B Moments for Moody Radio’s Urban Praise and is a familiar guest on Milwaukee’s WTMJ-TV Morning Blend talk show. Suzette earned her MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. She lives in Chicago with her husband, and together they have three sons.   Ready to connect? The New U Podcast Episode #21 - What do potato chips, M&Ms, and lasting wellness have in common? The New U Podcast, host Marcus Geeter sits down with nutrition expert Kristy Dotson.
2026/09/03
What do potato chips, M&Ms, and lasting wellness have in common? On this episode of The New U Podcast, host Marcus Geeter sits down with nutrition expert Kristy Dotson for an eye-opening conversation about weight, diet, cravings, and the choices that shape our health. Meet Kristy Dotson — Nutrition Expert, Author, and Speaker Kristy Dotson is a functional nutrition and wellness consultant who helps people look beyond quick fixes and uncover what their bodies may truly need. Blending science-based insight with a highly personal approach, she guides clients toward practical changes designed to support lasting health from the inside out. Professional Background With more than 30 years of experience across the food, pharmaceutical, medical, and corporate-training industries, Kristy brings an unusually broad perspective to wellness. Her work with major food manufacturers and healthcare organizations revealed a compelling question: Why does chronic illness remain so common despite increasingly advanced healthcare? That question led her to champion root-cause restoration—identifying underlying imbalances rather than simply managing symptoms. Approach to Nutrition Kristy’s guiding belief is simple but powerful: good health begins on the inside. Her approach brings together: • Clear, practical nutrition education that cuts through confusing food and health advice • Functional wellness testing that explores fatty-acid balance, food sensitivities, gut health, nutrient deficiencies, and bloodwork through functional ranges • Personalized nutrition strategies shaped by individual data—not the latest fad diet Her signature Connecting the Dots MasterClass explores five foundations of wellness: Diet, Digestion, Detoxification, Deficiency Testing, and Diagnostic Insights. Together, these areas help turn scattered health clues into a clearer, more actionable picture. Services & Programs Through KrisCross Enterprises, Kristy offers tools, education, and accountability aimed at helping clients move from uncertainty to informed action: • At-home nutrition deficiency testing supported by laboratory analysis • Better Bloodwork functional health reports designed to reveal potential imbalances before they become critical • Ongoing nutrition education through her online school, KrisCross University • Biweekly coaching and accountability to help turn insight into sustainable habits Speaking & Public Work As a sought-after speaker, Kristy transforms complex nutritional ideas into clear, memorable takeaways. Her presentations combine information, energy, and motivation while challenging the familiar—and often frustrating—myth that one diet can work for everyone. Why this conversation matters: Kristy Dotson brings decades of behind-the-scenes industry experience to a refreshingly practical discussion about food, cravings, weight, and wellness. Expect surprising insights, myth-busting moments, and strategies that may change the way you look at your next snack. www.kristydotson.com. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. The New U Podcast Episode #18 - The long-awaited Makeup 102 has finally arrived, inviting listener beyond the basics and into the thoughtful, transformative world of professional makeup artistry!
2026/08/12
The long-awaited Makeup 102 has finally arrived, inviting listener beyond the basics and into the thoughtful, transformative world of professional makeup artistry. Marcus Geeter dives deep into the essential dos and don’ts of caring for the skin, preparing the face, and building a polished look that feels as beautiful as it appears. He begins with the rule that should never be ignored: every successful application starts with a freshly cleansed face. From there, Marcus explores the importance of creating a smooth, hydrated canvas before the first touch of foundation, then reveals how carefully chosen products and deliberate techniques can help makeup blend more evenly, photograph beautifully, and remain fresh throughout the day. Makeup 102 is more than a collection of beauty techniques. Marcus also opens the door to the demanding, deeply personal world behind the brush, sharing stories from his journey as a professional makeup artist. He reflects on the discipline required to master the craft, the pressure of creating under tight timelines, the challenge of understanding each client’s vision, and the resilience needed to continue growing in an industry that is constantly changing. His experiences reveal that makeup artistry is not simply about products and color—it is about trust, preparation, adaptability, and the ability to help someone step into an important moment feeling seen, confident, and fully themselves. Along the way, Marcus pays tribute to the legends whose imagination, technique, and fearless creativity influenced his artistic voice and helped shape his career. Their impact appears not only in the looks he creates, but also in the standards he carries forward: respect for the skin, commitment to excellence, and a belief that every face tells a story worth honoring. Candid, instructive, and filled with hard-earned insight, Makeup 102 offers listeners a compelling look at both the artistry in front of the mirror and the determination behind it—proving that the most memorable transformations begin long before the makeup is applied.
