Description

The Bible is stranger, darker, and more glorious than you were taught. Let's talk about it. Faith on the Fringe Podcast is where Leah Steele Barnett and Malaine Lea Butler explore the supernatural biblical worldview that most modern churches have quietly shelved. Spirit-Filled. Bible-Obsessed. Slightly Unhinged. The Divine Council. Fallen Watchers. The Nephilim. Pre-flood history. Spiritual warfare with real teeth. We bring the scholarship, the Spirit, and zero religious performance. We are not doom-scrolling through Revelation or building bunkers. This is a Kingdom-forward conversation rooted in the belief that God's story is bigger, wilder, and more victorious than mainstream theology has made room for. For the believers who never stopped asking questions. For the Christ-followers who want the whole Bible, not just the comfortable parts. MEET THE HOSTS OF FAITH ON THE FRINGE LEAH STEELE BARNETT Faith-led cultural commentator, AI educator, and host of The Culture Cast operating at the intersection of technology, culture, and Kingdom stewardship. She examines cultural deception, belief systems, and power structures through a biblical lens. She is pattern-oriented, allergic to hype, and built for the kind of theology that doesn't flinch. On The Fringe, she brings the research, the receipts, and a refusal to let comfortable doctrine go unchallenged. MALAINE LEA BUTLER Deliverance-driven disciple of Jesus Christ who walked out of the New Age and into radical transformation through the power of the Gospel. Host of Kingdom Talk and founder of Eden House, she creates space for raw, deep, and confrontational conversations that call hearts into full surrender and freedom in Christ. On The Fringe, she brings fire, spiritual authority, and zero tolerance for religious performance.

We Aren't Christians Anymore | Deconstructing Christianity
2026/10/26
After months of research for this show, Leah and Malaine are ready to say it out loud. They are disciples of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and they no longer identify as Christians. In this episode they walk through how deconstructing Christianity brought them here, the doctrine they found was written by men far later than they were ever taught, and why Leah tried so hard to be the good Christian girl until the red letters would not let her. Malaine shares the moment a pastor offered to take her out of the system, and what she is building now with no box around it. They also cover where the word Christian came from, the infallible word of God question, original sin, the uproar over Paul, and why they expect the loudest pushback to come from people who already carry the same questions. They close on the joy that shows up when you live the way, the truth, and the life. Because I am the light. I am carrying what he has asked me to carry.” -Malaine Lea Butler Key Takeaways Why Leah and Malaine say this decision brought them closer to Jesus, and the fruit they point to as proof. The freedom in Christ Leah was promised as a new believer, and what she says she actually found inside the religion. What Leah kept running into in Romans and Paul’s letters, and what she did with the questions she could not reconcile. Where the word Christian actually came from, and who first used it. The question Malaine’s pastor asked when she left her church, and why God put weight on her answer. What Leah’s husband told her about belief for two years, and why it used to make her so mad. The one group Leah expects to come after them for this episode, and why she has compassion for them. What stays exactly the same for Eden House and deliverance ministry, and the most peaceful session Malaine has ever had. How you can read someone’s prayer life by the way they respond to a person they disagree with. Featured Scripture John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (KJV) Application: Leah and Malaine come back to the way, the truth, and the life more than any other phrase in this episode, and it sits underneath the whole decision. Jesus named Himself as the way, a road you walk with Him, and He is the one who brings you to the Father. This week, read the red letters again and ask Him where He wants to lead your next step. Is Christian Celebrity Culture Idolatry? Two Ex-New Agers on Pedestals and Pitchforks
2026/10/21
Your biggest cheerleaders will be the people holding the pitchforks. Leah and Malaine both spent years being platformed in the New Age, and both say what they're seeing in Christian celebrity culture right now goes further than anything they saw there. Nobody who ends up exposed online set out to start a cult. Good people with a heart for God get platformed and pedestaled, the work of maintaining the platform starts eating the time they used to spend with Him, pride finds an open door, and the same crowd that worshipped them shows up with pitchforks. Leah goes back to the affiliates she paid tens of thousands of dollars who turned on her hardest, and Malaine talks about the leaders who stop hearing the truth once everyone around them turns into a yes person. The second half turns to the whiplash of leaving the New Age for Jesus. Some swing into legalism and cessationism out of fear of being deceived again. Others land in hyper charismatic circles where the pedestals are even higher. Malaine tells the story of the nanny whose kindness led her to Jesus while she was still running New Age retreats, and Leah explains why it took her a full year to say yes to Him. So if Jesus stood next to you in church this Sunday, would He be thrilled with what He saw? JOIN THE FRINGE COMMUNITY ON PATREON: https://patreon.com/Faithonthefringe JOIN OUR MONTHLY BIBLE STUDY HERE: https://supernaturalbiblesessions.com "Throwing a pitchfork at somebody is not the kingdom of heaven. I'm pretty sure that's a different kingdom." -Leah Steele Barnett Key Takeaways Why nobody who gets exposed online starts out planning to manipulate the body of Christ. The warning Malaine got in the New Age about the woman idolizing her, and how it came true that same year. Why the people who platform you are usually the first to turn on you. How the work of maintaining a platform quietly replaces time with Jesus. What happens to a leader once the people around them become yes people. Why attacking someone online opens a door for you and activates a spirit of offense in them. The two directions ex-New Agers tend to swing: legalism and cessationism, or hyper charismatic circles. What fear of being deceived again looked like in Malaine's first season with Jesus. The nanny who never judged Malaine and ended up leading her to Jesus. Why staying curious and sitting in judgment can't happen at the same time. The one thing Leah was delivered of the moment she said yes to Jesus. Featured Scripture "Those who make them become like them; so do all who trust in them." Psalm 115:8 (ESV) Application: Malaine's point is that whatever we idolize, we start to resemble, deaf and blind to what's in front of us. That goes for a celebrity pastor as much as a carved image. Before you defend or attack anyone in the public eye this week, ask Jesus whether you've handed that person your discernment. Then take it to your prayer closet and let Him show you where your worship has drifted. Podcast Pimps, The Judas Spirit & Celebrity Christian Culture - The Fringe Files
2026/10/13
Leah had decided a pastor was blasphemous before she had watched a minute of his sermon. A guest cancelled, so this one is off the cuff, and it opens with Leah admitting she did the exact thing this show tells people not to do. She saw clips of Otha Turnbow's sermon on Jesus going to hell, felt the emotional charge, went looking for other people's reactions, and sealed his fate in her mind without going to the source. In this conversation she walks through the rebuke she got in her spirit, what she found when she finally watched the sermons, and why she says the short clip exists to deny you context and sell you a reaction instead. The second half turns toward the economy around all of it. Leah and Malaine cover celebrity Christian culture and who is monetizing what, the Judas spirit running through exposure ministry, how to tell a watchman from an accuser, the man who publicly gave Jenny Weaver seventy two hours to live, and why loyalty to a ministry turns into idolatry faster than anybody expects. They close on holding every ministry loosely, the spiritual covering language nobody can find in scripture, and Jesus inviting the question at the foot of Mount Hermon. JOIN THE FRINGE COMMUNITY ON PATREON: https://patreon.com/Faithonthefringe JOIN OUR MONTHLY BIBLE STUDY HERE: https://supernaturalbiblesessions.com "The truth doesn't need to hide from questioning. The only thing that needs to hide from questioning is deception." -Leah Steele Barnett Key Takeaways Leah walks through her own week of judging a sermon off a clip, and the rebuke that stopped her. Why the kingdom of darkness has an interest in keeping you off long form content, and what the three second hit is actually doing. What Otha Turnbow's sermon on Jesus and hell actually says once you sit through all three of them in full. Both hosts are monetizing, and they explain how an assignment from God and a Patreon can sit in the same hand. The Judas spirit in exposure ministry, and the test Leah uses on how she feels after watching one. How to tell a watchman from an accuser, including the one thing a watchman always does that an accuser never bothers with. The man who publicly gave Jenny Weaver seventy two hours to live, and what she was doing when the deadline passed. Why loyalty to a pastor or a platform turns into idolatry, and what Malaine says happens to your prophetic hearing once it does. The spiritual covering and spiritual father language that neither of them can find anywhere in scripture. Featured Scripture Proverbs 18:17 "He that is first in his own cause seemeth just; but his neighbour cometh and searcheth him." (KJV) Application: The first version of a story always sounds airtight, which is exactly why God put a second step in the verse. Somebody has to come and search it. A forty second clip is the first voice, and so is the reaction video stacked on top of it, and neither one has been searched by anybody. Leah ran into this in her own week and names it plainly in the episode. Before you form a verdict on a brother or sister, go be the neighbour who searches it, which usually means watching the whole thing and reading the whole chapter. The Divine Council Keystone - Supernatural Bible Sessions
2026/10/09
Your Bible probably says sons of Israel in Deuteronomy 32. Israel was not born for another two generations. The Qumran copy of that verse runs a thousand years older than the text every modern translation was built from, and it reads sons of God, while the Septuagint that Jesus read has angels of God. Leah Steele Barnett opens the July Supernatural Bible Session on that discrepancy and builds the divine council worldview out of three passages, Genesis 11, Deuteronomy 32 and Psalm 82. The thread runs from the tower at Babel, where God says let us go down, through the seventy nations counted in Genesis 10, to the moment God divides those nations among the sons of God and keeps Jacob as his own portion. Abraham gets called in the very next chapter. Malaine Lea Butler and Jenny Embrey carry the deliverance side of it: principalities assigned over territories, why bloodline work traces back to Babel, how spiritual beings meant to point the nations toward Yahweh acquired power through worship instead, and where the shedim of Deuteronomy 32:17 come from. The session closes on four places heaven answers Psalm 82, Jesus quoting it in the temple in John 10, the seventy sent out in Luke 10, the scattered languages gathering at Pentecost in Acts 2, and the song of Moses sung again in Revelation 15. The Melchizedek scroll from Qumran, the long ending of Deuteronomy 32:43 that Hebrews 1:6 quotes, and the question of whether a demon can drive out a demon all get their turn. Nimrod gets his own session in August. For the Bible study guide, the full research dossier, and information on future Bible sessions, join the Faith on the Fringe Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/Faithonthefringe Featured Scripture Deuteronomy 32:8-9 "When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he divided mankind, he fixed the borders of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God. But the LORD's portion is his people, Jacob his allotted heritage." (ESV) "When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, when he divided up humankind, he set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the heavenly assembly. For the LORD's allotment is his people, Jacob his special possession." (NET) Application: This is the keystone. Genesis 10 lists the nations scattered at Babel and the tradition counts seventy of them, and these two verses say God divided those nations according to the number of the sons of God and kept Jacob as his own portion. Most English Bibles read sons of Israel here because they follow the Masoretic text, a Hebrew tradition copied by scribes in the medieval period, and Israel was not born for another two generations after Babel. The Qumran copy of Deuteronomy is a thousand years older and reads sons of God, and the Septuagint, translated by Jewish scholars two centuries before Christ, has angels of God. Read that way, God calls Abraham in the chapter immediately after the nations are handed away, and the timing is the point. Everything the session covers about territorial spirits, principalities over regions and the great commission runs back through these two verses. Church NDAs, Masonic Oaths and Silenced Survivors With Dr. Robin Perry Braun
2026/10/06
A missionary came in for early stage Alzheimer's and turned out to be still attending rituals. Content warning: satanic ritual abuse, ritual abuse inside churches and at the hands of ministers, dissociative identity disorder, parts and programming, child abuse, trafficking and suicide. Nothing graphic is described. Handled with care, still heavy. Headphones if there are little ears nearby. Dr. Robin Perry Braun has spent 13 years in private practice working with survivors most people are not equipped to help, and this is her second time on Faith on the Fringe. In this conversation she explains why survivors go silent at the moment their memories surface, why almost none of them ever escaped a coven because dissociative identity disorder meant they never knew, and what it sounds like when a woman describes a friend killed in front of her at five years old and still says she had the best childhood. The second half turns toward the people doing the helping. Dr. Robin walks through the open doors ministers carry into this work, the SRA minister she was told was still reprogramming the people who came to him, and why an NDA inside a ministry functions as the Babylonian version of Matthew 18. She closes with the practical side: muscle response testing, voice to skull work with targeted individuals, and why healing in small bites keeps a survivor from breaking. JOIN THE FRINGE COMMUNITY ON PATREON: https://patreon.com/Faithonthefringe JOIN OUR MONTHLY BIBLE STUDY HERE: https://supernaturalbiblesessions.com "The most important thing we can be is safe. Way over gifting, way over whatever, because people's nervous systems will not let them heal. They won't let the wall down until they start to feel safe." -Dr. Robin Perry Braun Key Takeaways The three reasons survivors of satanic ritual abuse stay silent, and the one that has nothing to do with fear. Why almost none of Dr. Robin's clients ever escaped a coven, and what that means for how SRA actually operates. What a screen memory sounds like, told through a client who kept insisting she had the best childhood. How to tell whether a deliverance minister or a therapist is safe, and why the people most drawn to this work often carry the most open doors. The SRA minister she was told was still reprogramming the people who came to him for help. Why an NDA in a ministry is the same instrument as a Masonic oath, and the verse it is standing in for. What Malaine says is hiding behind the boards and the published accountability statements. Why Dr. Robin says healing has to come in small bites, and what happens to people who get it all at once. The one test she gives anybody wondering whether something is ringing true about their own life. Featured Scripture Matthew 18:15-17 "Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: and if he neglect to hear the church, let him be as an heathen man and a publican." (KJV) Application: Jesus lays out a path with an ending, and the ending is public. Go alone, then with witnesses, then to the whole assembly. Dr. Robin's argument in this episode is that a non disclosure agreement takes that process and removes its final step, which is exactly what a Masonic oath does when it tells a man to say nothing about his brother. The instruction was given to stop gossip while still protecting the vulnerable, so anything that silences the third step is doing the opposite of what the text asks. Read it before you sign anything, and before you accept somebody's assurance that a board exists. Freely Give? Why Matthew 10:8 Doesn't Mean What You Have Been Told
2026/09/29
Two verses after "freely give," Jesus tells His disciples the worker is worthy of his food. Matthew 10:8 has become the verse people quote whenever a minister charges for anything. Leah and Malaine read the whole chapter, starting with who Jesus was actually sending out and what He told them to take with them. From there the conversation moves through deliverance ministers charging sixty dollars a session, megachurch tithes and building funds, what the Acts church did with its money, and the backlash over Philip Anthony Mitchell's podcast tour. Who Jesus was sending out in Matthew 10, and the towns He told them to pass by. Why "raise the dead" is missing from some manuscripts of this verse. What Jesus said two verses later about the worker and his food. Why a sixty dollar deliverance session draws more outrage online than a pastor with five jets. What the early church in Acts did with the money it collected, and what one church in Salt Lake City still does. The moment charging for ministry crosses into manipulation. Why paying for a session was what got Malaine out of bed and into her breakthrough. How Leah and Malaine read the backlash over Philip Anthony Mitchell's podcast tour. Featured Scripture "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give." Matthew 10:8 (NIV) Application: This is the verse people quote most often in the debate over charging for ministry, and Leah and Malaine read it from the top of the chapter. Jesus was sending twelve specific men to the lost sheep of Israel, and two verses later He told them the workman is worthy of his meat. Before you stand on a verse, read the chapter around it, and ask who He was speaking to and what He was asking of them. Then take your own conviction about giving and receiving to Him in prayer. Once He settles it for you, let His answer be enough, whatever anyone else in the body of Christ has to say about it. Lately they have been going back through the archive of their own lives and asking which of those tools were actually wrong and which ones were simply being used for the wrong kingdom. Sowing and reaping. Reciprocity. Showing up in a room in a way that shifts it. Speaking over your own life. The answer they keep landing on is that the principles work because God wrote them, and the body of Christ refuses to touch most of them because they sound New Age. Meanwhile one misquoted verse has a critical mass of believers convinced that money itself is evil, handing ten percent they do not have to buildings that are doing perfectly well, and calling the arrangement obedience. Malaine on why attachment to the outcome blocks the very thing people are giving for. Leah on poverty consciousness, on Caroline Leaf and neural pathways, and on why she tithes to poor people. Then the personal half, on deconstruction, the exodus out of traditional church, and their decision to stop walking the tightrope on this podcast. So if the principles are real and the verse says something else, why is everybody broke? And because they're doing it, then God owes them. God should be blessing me because I'm doing the right thing. I'm ticking off all the boxes." -Malaine Lea Butler Key Takeaways The verse almost every Christian influencer gets wrong, and the single word that changes the whole meaning of it. Both hosts made a lot of money in the New Age, and what they now say about which of those practices were actually wrong. What God told Malaine about how she dresses before she walks into the basketball courts, and what happened when she did it. Why tithing while attached to the outcome blocks the thing you are tithing for. Caroline Leaf, neural pathways, and why Leah says belief alone will not get anybody out of lack. Where Leah and Sean actually send their tithe, and the family in Bali who never asked for it. Naaman, seven dips in a dirty river, and why there is no formula for your breakthrough. Gehazi, and what he did after the healing that got him leprosy. What both hosts are seeing right now about people leaving traditional church, and why they call deconstruction a good thing. Featured Scripture 1 Timothy 6:10 "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." (KJV) Application: Read the first five words slowly, because they are the ones that get dropped. The love of it. Paul is describing an appetite, the thing Leah calls worshiping at the altar of mammon, which she did for years and can describe from the inside. Money itself sits in the verse as the object of a disordered desire rather than the source of evil. Strip those words out, which is what happens every week from pulpits and reels, and you hand an entire body of believers a reason to be afraid of a tool. Read it whole, and the warning lands where Paul aimed it, on the heart and not the bank account. Lindsay Clancy, Moloch & Fear Based Eschatology - The Fringe Files
2026/09/18
Two mothers, two countries, three children each, killed on the same day of the same month. ***Content warning: the deaths of children, infanticide, abortion and postpartum psychosis. Handled with care, still heavy. Headphones if there are little ears nearby. Leah opens with the numbers. Ninety three thousand abortions a month in the United States. Nine states and one district carrying no gestational limit at all. A quarter of it now arranged by telehealth with nobody in the room. Malaine reads the rising rates as a principality holding ground, Moloch, collecting, and both of them stop to say plainly that forgiveness is available to anyone listening. Then the Clancy case, with the preface they insist on first. What derailed Leah's weekend was women filming themselves with their own children saying they understand her, and the four cases that have followed since. Then Deirdre Morley in Ireland, a nurse, three children, the same twenty fourth of January. The back half turns hard against the fear it just handed you, through eschatology sold by the click, 2030 preparedness reels, a starfish on a beach and a widow sown into inside twelve hours. So what would He actually have you do about any of it? Which countries actually top the global abortion rate table, and why most Americans guess wrong on the first try. Nine states and one district now carry no gestational limit, and Malaine and Leah name them. Why a hospital can be legally unable to help a baby born alive, and what that does to the nurses in the room. Sixty new releases on one streaming service, and how many of them were horror. What Leah saw on social media after the Clancy case that derailed her entire weekend. Deirdre Morley in Ireland, a nurse with three children, and the date that matches Lindsay Clancy exactly. What the word psyop actually means, and the thing people assume it means that Leah wants corrected. Why fear based eschatology pays, who it pays, and what Leah thinks is coming for the people selling it. (KJV) Application: The psalm is a national inventory, written by people looking back at what their own country did and naming it without softening the language. Two things sit in it that the modern conversation keeps separate. The children were sacrificed to something, and the land itself absorbed the consequence. That is the frame Malaine is working from when she connects a region's rates to a principality holding ground there. Read the whole psalm and notice what breaks the cycle every time it appears, which is somebody standing in the gap and crying out rather than somebody despairing at the numbers. Does the Bible Actually Say Souls Can Be Traded?
2026/09/14
Soul fragmentation came out of the occult, and it still works on Christians. Leah & Malaine both came out of the New Age, so they recognise the vocabulary on sight. Soul loss, soul retrieval, soul parts, soul contracts. It sits in Kabbalah, in Egyptian texts, in ancient Chinese sources, in shamanic practice, and Leah taught versions of it herself for years. The kingdom of darkness builds real weapons, and as Malaine says on-mic, the Holy Spirit does not heal anybody on the back of a lie. Which is where the trouble starts. Revelation 18 is a cargo manifest, and the King James ends it with slaves and souls of men, and that phrase has quietly become the proof text for soul trading in deliverance ministries. Leah got a check in her spirit about it, went after the Greek, and came back with something that took Malaine's own position apart on air. Malaine brought the topic in expecting an easy episode and says she was certain right up until she wasn't. Then they got into Ezekiel 13 that actually runs the other direction and turns out to be far more occult than the King James lets on. Underneath all of it is the argument these two keep circling. The kingdom of darkness disciples its people by the age of twelve, in the natural and in the spirit, while the church runs another feel good conference. Standing on a verse that will not hold hands free ammunition to everybody already working to discredit deliverance ministry. Extra-biblical is not unbiblical. This is part one, and part two will go after blood libel and a covert economy in children, all backed by Bible of course. JOIN THE FRINGE COMMUNITY ON PATREON: https://patreon.com/Faithonthefringe JOIN OUR MONTHLY BIBLE STUDY HERE: https://supernaturalbiblesessions.com "The Holy Spirit never heals based on a lie." -Malaine Lea Butler Key Takeaways Soul fragmentation, soul parts, soul contracts and soul retrieval come out of Kabbalah, Egyptian texts, ancient Chinese sources and shamanic practice, and both hosts still say the kingdom of darkness is doing all of it. Why the healings survivors report can be real even when the language wrapped around them is not biblical. The kingdom of darkness disciples its people better than the church disciples its own, has them trained by twelve, and Matthew 23 is where Leah lands on why. The last two items on the Revelation 18 cargo manifest, and what the word behind slaves meant to a shipping merchant. Why thirty pieces of silver was a market price and an insult at the same time. Nephesh appears 754 times in the Bible and its root word is not soul. It is a body part. Soul stealing is in the law of Moses with a death sentence attached to it, and it is not what deliverance ministry means by the phrase. What the King James calls pillows and kerchiefs in Ezekiel 13, and what the Akkadian tablets turned them into. One ritual object in that same passage appears exactly once in all of scripture, and nobody alive knows what it was. Featured Scripture Ezekiel 13:18, 20 "And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?" "Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly." (KJV) Application: Read that in the King James and it sounds like a complaint about upholstery. Read it in the NET or the ESV and it is a paid ritual practice, run by a class of practitioners inside God's own people, hunting human beings with objects strapped to wrists and heads. God does not argue with them. He tears the implements off their arms and lets the hunted go. Whatever is happening in the world you are reading about right now, the response in the text is not a debate about whether it is real. It is a removal. Are You Prophesying Your Own Warfare? Word Curses, Retaliation, and Who Actually Has Dominion
2026/09/07
Forecasting your own retaliation attack is a spell, and it gets spoken in church every week. Leah and Malaine both came to Jesus out of the New Age, where a practitioner is trained to recall a negative word the second it leaves her mouth. That training was lifted from something God wrote first, and the hosts walk it back to Proverbs 23:7, Proverbs 18:21, and Ezekiel prophesying over a valley of dry bones. From there they get into the retaliation language moving through the body of Christ, where believers announce coming attacks over themselves and over each other, then read the fallout as proof of a powerful calling. The conversation covers the Ha Satan of Job as an assigned member of God's divine council, dominion handed to man in Genesis 1:28, giving as a law that pays out for whoever operates it, the wilderness season new believers are promised, and the poverty preaching that kept Malaine peeking over the fence for a year before she said yes to Jesus. The question underneath all of it: when the hard season arrives at your door, who assigned it? JOIN THE FRINGE COMMUNITY ON PATREON: https://patreon.com/Faithonthefringe JOIN OUR MONTHLY BIBLE STUDY HERE: https://supernaturalbiblesessions.com "All witchcraft doesn't look like a bunch of women in a coven sitting around a cauldron stirring up some potions. It looks like you coming into agreement with the kingdom of darkness." -Leah Steele Barnett Key Takeaways Why the New Age trains its people to recall a negative word the second it is spoken, and what the church calls that same discipline when a believer does it. The Ha Satan of Job sat on God's divine council with an assignment, which changes what the word warfare means when hard things show up at your door. Abracadabra was the centerpiece of a training Leah taught for years, and the Proverb it borrows from is one most believers have already memorized. Tithing was in her New Age curriculum too, along with the multimillionaires who give twenty percent of everything and cannot tell you why it works. Ask a room of Christians who holds dominion on this earth and listen to the answer the majority give. Financial struggle preached as a portion, and the snare that kept Malaine outside the kingdom of heaven for a solid year. The church leader who warned Malaine she could run too fast for Jesus and leave her husband behind, and the author whose name she used to answer that. The wilderness season that new believers are handed as a promise, and what Leah says it costs the New Agers who are watching from the fence. Featured Scripture Proverbs 23:7 "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee." (KJV) Application: The verse puts the thought life upstream of everything else. What a person rehearses on the inside becomes what that person is, which means the running commentary about coming attacks is doing work long before any attack arrives. Malaine reads this one on-mic to answer the charge that speaking over your own life belongs to prosperity gospel, and the text simply does not allow that dismissal. Take stock of what you have been rehearsing about your next season, out loud and under your breath. Then take it to the Father and ask Him what He says about it, because His account of your future is the one with authority behind it. Genesis 6 - Supernatural Bible Sessions
2026/09/06
Augustine of Hippo read Greek badly, and the Western church ran with his interpretation and still reads Genesis 6 his way. That is why most pastors skip the four verses where the sons of God take human wives, and it is where Leah Steele Barnett, Malaine Lea Butler and Jenny Embrey opened the first Supernatural Bible Session. Leah reads Genesis 6:1-4 from the NKJV and teaches it from the divine council view: two hundred Watchers descending in the days of Jared under a leader named Semjaza, the binding oath they swore to each other on Mount Hermon, and the exchange that followed, heavenly knowledge and technology traded to fathers for their daughters. For the Bible study guide, the full research dossier, and information on future Bible sessions, join the Faith on the Fringe Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/Faithonthefringe The case gets built inside the Protestant canon first, through Numbers 13:33, Deuteronomy 2 and 3, Jude 6 and 7, and 2 Peter 2:4-5, then carried into 1 Enoch and Jubilees for the context Genesis assumes the reader already has. Where demons come from according to Enoch 15, Mastema's bargain for a tenth of them in Jubilees, why Nephilim reads giants in the Septuagint, the Latin Vulgate and the Aramaic, why the Sethite view has no answer for the angels held in chains, and why the Ethiopian church walked out in 471 AD carrying its manuscripts to the monasteries. The session closes in prayer over every child connected to the room. Genesis 6:1-4 "Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. And the LORD said, My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years. There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown." (NKJV) Application: Four verses carry a story the rest of the Bible assumes its reader already knows. The sons of God, bene ha'elohim in the Hebrew, is the phrase used everywhere else in scripture for heavenly beings, and the giants appear in those days and also after that, which is the line that sends a reader forward to Numbers 13 and Deuteronomy 3 asking how any of them stood on the earth after the flood. Genesis records the event and moves on, leaving the descent, the oath and the origin of what came out of those unions to the texts the Second Temple readers held in their hands. That silence is why the session travels through Jude, 2 Peter, 1 Enoch and Jubilees before it closes. Should a Christian Do Yoga, Astrology or Muscle Testing?
2026/09/04
The New Age works. It runs on principles God wrote, used without Him.Leah and Malaine had the crystals, the Buddhas, the tarot decks, and two businesses built on top of new age and occult practices, with clients still paying and a year of commitments to wind down. Leah cried out to God from the floor of an apartment in Porto in August 2023, surrounded by sheets of white paper with every part of her life written on them, and heard two instructions back. Malaine spent the same year being pursued, cleared every crystal and Buddha out of the house, and held onto the Human Design business until January 2024. Both of them put everything down at once, and they think that is why the restoration came fast. JOIN THE FRINGE COMMUNITY ON PATREON: https://patreon.com/Faithonthefringe JOIN OUR MONTHLY BIBLE STUDY HERE: https://supernaturalbiblesessions.com In this episode they work through the questions filling their inboxes. Whether a Christian can do yoga, and why the origin of the poses settles it. Astrology as divination, the magi who followed a star, and why Leah put the whole subject down for years before Jesus reopened it. Muscle testing, Reiki, and the single question of intent that decides what is redeemable. Which online teachers to watch in the first year, the 70/30 rule they run on all of them, Nebuchadnezzar's restoration in Daniel 4, and why an accurate reading from a familiar spirit proves nothing at all. "Just because something is accurate does not mean it is rooted in the kingdom of heaven." -Malaine Lea Butler Key Takeaways Why two former practitioners who built businesses on tarot, astrology and Human Design put all of it down in the same year, and what they say it cost them. What happened on the floor of an apartment in Porto in August 2023, and the two instructions Leah heard back from God. Why Malaine threw out every crystal and Buddha in the house and kept the Human Design business, and what finally moved it. What ripping a band aid off fast has to do with how quickly God restores a life. Why yoga cannot be made holy no matter what word gets put in front of it, and the bloodline reason it lands harder on some people. How the magi found Jesus, and why Leah put astrology down for years before Jesus reopened the subject. What decides whether muscle testing or Reiki is redeemable, and the question Jesus asked Malaine on a school run. The 70/30 rule Leah and Malaine run on every teacher they follow, and why it started at 80/20. How a familiar spirit on your family line produces an accurate reading, and why accuracy is the bait.   Featured Scripture Proverbs 25:2 "It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter." Application: This is the verse Leah and Malaine come back to constantly, and it is the whole method of this episode. God conceals things on purpose, and the concealing is an invitation with your name on it. The honour sits in the searching, which makes the questions people are afraid to ask about yoga or astrology or muscle testing the assignment itself. It also sets the pace. A king searches a matter out slowly, with counsel, in the word, over as long as it takes. Put the thing down while you search, and let Him keep it hidden for as long as He wants to. What happens when you marry an SRA survivor? With Wendy Nelson
2026/08/30
Her husband kept waking up not knowing her name, and no doctor or pastor could tell her why. ***Content warning: childhood physical abuse, satanic ritual abuse that took place inside a church, and demonic manifestation. Handled with care, still heavy. Headphones if there are little ears nearby. Wendy Nelson is a nurse of twenty five years who married the love of her life in December 2010 and found out she had married into a war most churches say is not happening. Her husband Lorne grew up under a Baptist minister father, and the beatings turned out to be the smaller half of the story. She wrote all of it down in a book called Ever Changing. In 2019 Lorne fell down the stairs, and Wendy says he was pushed. What followed was four years of memory resets, visitors standing at the end of the bed, and a medical system and a church that both came back with nothing. She walks us through satanic ritual abuse, dissociative identity disorder, parts and alters in plain language, what Freemasonry and Masonic oaths stack on a bloodline, and who introduced himself to her husband when he was four years old. What do you do when the man beside you wakes up and does not know who you are? Don't brush it off." -Wendy Nelson Key Takeaways What a DID reset looks like at three in the morning, when your husband asks who you are. The 2019 fall down the stairs, and why Wendy says he was pushed. Why CAT scans, MRIs, neuro assessments and two deliverance ministers all came back with nothing. Satanic ritual abuse, DID, parts and alters, defined in plain language by a nurse of twenty five years. Rituals ran Saturday night inside the church, and the same Baptist minister preached Sunday morning. What a Masonic oath says out loud, and why Freemasonry, fraternities and sororities sit on one road. Bloodline iniquity past the third and fourth generation, and the ancestral spirits she finds still collecting. Abigor introduced himself to a four year old sitting in front of a furnace in a basement. Soul transfer among first responders, and the single prayer that unhooked her son in law. Featured Scripture Ezekiel 13:20 "Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly." Application: Wendy points to Ezekiel when she explains soul hunting, and this is the passage where God names the practice out loud and then goes after the people running it. The pillows and veils in Ezekiel 13 are working tools, sewn by practitioners who were hunting souls for profit inside the covenant community. God does not debate whether it is real. He says He is against it, He tears it off their arms, and He lets the captives go. That is the pattern the whole episode is built on, and it is the reason Wendy can sit across from a survivor and say the darkness does not last. After serving for more than 25 years as a licensed practical nurse and spending many years in leadership within the business sector, Wendy has dedicated her life to helping people discover healing, purpose, and the unique potential God has placed within them. Although Wendy grew up in the church, her faith was transformed when she married a survivor of Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA) in 2010. Walking alongside her husband through the realities of trauma, healing, and spiritual warfare challenged everything she thought she knew about God. In the midst of unimaginable circumstances, she developed a deeply personal relationship with Christ and witnessed His faithfulness in ways she never thought possible. Drawing from both her personal journey and years of walking alongside survivors, Wendy is passionate about bringing greater awareness and understanding to the realities of Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA), Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), and Government Mind Control. She believes these issues are more prevalent than many people realize and that greater knowledge, compassion, and discernment are essential for the Church and the wider community. Wendy longs to see the Church become a place where deeply wounded people are welcomed with the love of Christ rather than feared, misunderstood or dismissed. She believes that many survivors continue to live under the effects of severe trauma, coercive control, and complex programming, and that the Church has a vital role in offering safe, informed, Christ-centered support that leads to healing and freedom. Through her writing, coaching, and speaking, Wendy's mission is to equip others with truth, inspire hope, and point people toward the healing and freedom found in Jesus Christ. Her book invites readers into an honest journey of faith, resilience, and redemption, demonstrating that even in life's darkest places, God's light is never overcome. Is the Bible ACTUALLY the Infallible Word of God?
2026/08/24
People pass rattlesnakes down the pew because of twelve verses somebody added. Every Bible in print today is a copy of a copy of a copy. No original manuscript exists anywhere on earth. So when someone says the Bible is the infallible word of God, Leah and Malaine want to ask the obvious follow-up question: which Bible, and which version? This episode walks through what actually happened to the text. Twelve verses added to the end of Mark that produced snake-handling churches. A Trinity verse that appears in no early Greek manuscript. A King James translator who ran out of Greek and filled the gap by translating backwards from Latin. What the Council of Nicaea was actually about. And why the doctrine of infallibility traces back to Paul describing a collection of writings that did not yet include the New Testament. Leah and Malaine love the Bible, read it daily, and stand on it. They also think you deserve to know its history before someone weaponizes a verse at you. JOIN THE FREE FRINGE COMMUNITY ON PATREON:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/thefringeonfb  JOIN OUR MONTHLY BIBLE STUDY HERE: https://supernaturalbiblesessions.com "Before you go cherry-picking scripture and weaponizing it against somebody, make sure that you really understand: is that the earliest translation we have of that verse, and does it mean what you think it means?" -Leah Steele Barnett Key Takeaways Every Bible in existence is a copy of a copy. No original manuscripts survive, which means every version you can buy is the product of translation decisions somebody made. Mark's gospel originally ended at chapter 16 verse 8, with the women fleeing the empty tomb. The final twelve verses were added later by someone unknown. Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus, the two oldest complete Bibles we have, both stop at verse 8. Those added verses contain the promise about handling serpents and drinking deadly poison unharmed. Congregations across Appalachia built an entire practice on that sentence, and people have died doing it. The clearest Trinity verse in scripture, 1 John 5:7-8, appears in no early Greek manuscript. It entered the Greek text in the 15th and 16th centuries, and the Greek church fathers never taught from it during the Trinitarian controversies when they most needed it. The Council of Nicaea did not canonize the Bible. It was convened over the Trinity and the nature of Christ. That distinction takes five seconds to verify and gets repeated wrongly constantly. The King James New Testament rests on manuscripts no older than the 10th century. Erasmus was missing the final page of Revelation, so he translated the Latin Vulgate back into Greek to fill it. Revelation 22:19 says book of life in the KJV where every Greek manuscript says tree of life. Modern readers have access to roughly 5,800 Greek manuscripts, plus Codex Sinaiticus found in 1844, Codex Vaticanus, and the Dead Sea Scrolls from 1947. None of it existed for the KJV translators. Paul is the source of the infallibility doctrine, and he was describing the Septuagint. The New Testament had not been written when he wrote it. Be cautious with study Bible commentary. Most English Bible footnotes trace back to the Scofield Reference Bible, which carried a political agenda. Featured Scripture John 1:1, 14 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." Application: John identifies the Word as a person before anyone bound a page. Scripture points to Him, carries His voice, and gets used by God to speak, and it was never meant to occupy the seat that belongs to Jesus. Holding the text with open hands rather than a clenched fist changes nothing about its power. It simply keeps the object of worship where it belongs. A fourth century Greek manuscript containing the oldest complete New Testament in existence. Found at St. Catherine's Monastery on Mount Sinai in 1844, long after the King James translators had finished their work. It ends Mark at chapter 16 verse 8. Codex Vaticanus. A fourth century Greek manuscript held in the Vatican Library and one of the two oldest near-complete Bibles known. It sat inaccessible to outside scholars for centuries. It also ends Mark at verse 8. Erasmus and the Textus Receptus. Erasmus published a printed Greek New Testament in 1516 using six or seven manuscripts he could physically obtain, most from the twelfth century and none older than the tenth. That edition became the basis of the Textus Receptus, the Greek text behind the King James Version. Irenaeus. A bishop writing around 180 AD. Scholars use his quotations to date when passages were already circulating, and he quotes from the longer ending of Mark, which places its addition sometime in the second century. The Dead Sea Scrolls. Manuscripts found in caves near Qumran starting in 1947, containing the oldest known copies of Hebrew scripture. They pushed the available evidence back roughly a thousand years. The Septuagint. The Greek translation of the Hebrew scriptures made a few centuries before Christ. It was the version most New Testament writers quoted, and it is what Paul was describing when he wrote about scripture being God-breathed. The Scofield Reference Bible. Published in 1909 by C.I. Scofield, the first widely distributed study Bible to print interpretive notes beside the text. Its footnotes shaped most English study Bible commentary that followed. The Ethiopian canon. The biblical canon of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, the largest in Christianity at roughly 81 books. It includes Enoch and Jubilees, which other traditions removed. Scriptures for Further Study John 1:1, 14. The Word was with God, was God, and became flesh. Mark 16:8. The women flee the empty tomb, where the oldest manuscripts end the gospel. Mark 16:17-18. The KJV reads book of life where Greek manuscripts read tree of life. 2 Timothy 3:16. All scripture is God-breathed, written before the New Testament existed as a collection. John 14:9. Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. 2 Timothy 1:7. God gave a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind rather than fear. Open your Bible this week and read the footnotes you have been skipping. This week on The Fringe Files they work through what came out, why the church name changed when it did, and the question underneath all of it: whether a healing from the wrong kingdom carries a price that comes due later. The ladies also cover the death of Joe Felz that came days before he planed to release an archive of early Bibles with the full apocrypha attached. Also - court filings unsealed the fact that an AI company has been shredding physical books by the million after scanning them. The hosts connect both to the same long game, and close on why a defensive reaction to a question is the thing worth examining. The price doesn't always come due immediately. It could be years. It could be generations. But that payment will be taken out." -Leah Steele Barnett Key Takeaways The kingdom of darkness plays a long game and cultivates gardens across generations. The body of Christ largely stopped sowing for descendants it will never meet, and the fruit of that gap is visible everywhere. Isaac inherited wells his father had already dug. He only had to clear out what the Philistines had filled in, because Abraham built for a son he would not see drink from them. Allegations of sexual assault against GeorDavie surfaced through a published article with an audio recording and text messages. Kathryn Krick was made aware and doubled down, reportedly telling one accuser that all she had done was make Krick love him more. Her church operated as Advanced Anointing Church, the same name as GeorDavie's, until those allegations surfaced. It became Fivefold Church, now styled 5F Church, immediately after. Jesus redirected worship away from himself and toward the Father, and said plainly that you have one Father in heaven. The spiritual mother and spiritual father language now common in ministry runs directly against that. Pharaoh's sorcerers performed real signs and wonders. The kingdom of darkness heals. What separates it is the invoice, which can arrive years or generations later. Jesus settled that account at Calvary. Joe Felz was digitizing early Bibles, Masonic texts, and antique manuscripts to make them publicly searchable. He died days before the archive was due to release. Court filings unsealed in Bartz v. Anthropic describe Project Panama, an internal effort to destructively scan books at scale. Spines are cut off, pages are fed through high-speed scanners, and the paper is discarded. A defensive, angry reaction to a sincere question is worth examining in yourself. God invites questions and welcomes childlike curiosity, and shutting people down is what drives them out of the body entirely. Featured Scripture Matthew 24:24 "For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect." Application: Jesus assumed the signs would be real. He never suggested the counterfeits would be obvious or easy to spot, and he said the target would be the elect, meaning people who love him and are genuinely trying to follow. A crowd, a healing, and a manifestation prove nothing about the source. That is precisely why this warning came from Jesus himself, and why his words carry more weight here than any teaching built on top of them.
