Aisha Yesufu is demanding accountability after nearly forty young people died in government custody—she’s calling it anything but an accident and warning that such treatment radicalizes citizens, turning them against the state. Aloy Ejimakor, Nnamdi Kanu’s special counsel, is sounding the alarm as Peter Obi and Governor Soludo engage in a public feud over Anambra State’s debt status — calling it a toxic distraction that harms the Igbo community. While Obi claims he left the state debt-free, Soludo counters with unpaid loans and pension obligations. Ejimakor argues this drama wastes energy, hinders political focus, and won’t sway the 2027 election — urging both men and their supporters to step back and prioritize unity over conflict. NADDC is rallying for tax breaks on imported raw materials to boost local carmakers, touring plants like Innoson and Kojo Motors that are building electric and CNG vehicles from scratch. They’re impressed by Nigeria’s clean energy push but hear firsthand how high tariffs crush local competitiveness against zero-duty imports. To fix it, they’re pushing for steeper taxes on fully built foreign cars — a move aligned with the government’s “Nigeria First” policy to fuel domestic production, cut costs, and create jobs. Nigeria’s oil regulators are cracking down on idle licenses under the “Drill-or-Drop” rule from the Petroleum Industry Act — companies that won acreage in recent bid rounds must prove they’re actively developing their assets by October 31, 2026, or risk losing them. The goal? Boost national production, not just enforce rules — regulators are open to hearing challenges like funding or security issues, but won’t extend deadlines or excuse inaction. It’s time for license holders to show real commitment or face forfeiture. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn. Eight suspects now face charges in Bayelsa State over the chilling disappearance of toddler Amarachi Blessing Ogbonna, who vanished from a church in June 2026. After an intensive investigation by the Violent Crime Response Unit, authorities identified and arrested eight individuals, who are now awaiting arraignment in court — though delays were due to the court’s vacation, not lack of action. Meanwhile, others questioned but cleared have been released on bail. As courts resume, the search for the child continues, with police urging the public to avoid spreading unverified social media rumors. Atiku Abubakar’s bold promise to slash fuel prices for Nigerians by subsidizing locally refined gas is sparking national attention. With current pump prices hitting 1,400 naira per liter, his plan targets only Nigerian-produced fuel, excluding imports, and includes strict oversight: spending caps, National Assembly approval, and independent audits. While the idea seems simple—government support = lower costs—the real test lies in execution, funding, and whether this strategy can truly ease household burdens while boosting local refining. The devil’s in the details, and the nation is watching closely. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
