Echoes from Exile: We Will Not Sing Their Song (October 25, 2026)
2026/10/26
Today we continue Echoes from Exile with a psalm born from deep grief. Psalm 137 reminds us that faith does not require us to hide our pain, rush past our anger, or pretend everything is okay. But it also challenges us not to let what has wounded us determine who we become.
As you listen today, consider what pain you may still be carrying, and how God might transform that pain so it becomes a source of compassion rather than something you pass on to others.
Echoes from Exile: You Are What You Consume (October 18, 2026)
2026/10/18
Today we continue Echoes from Exile with the story of Daniel and a question that feels especially important in our always connected world: What is feeding us? Daniel reminds us that while we cannot always choose the world around us, we can pay attention to what we consume and what we allow to shape who we are.
As you listen today, consider what has been feeding your heart and mind lately, and whether it is forming you into the person you want to become.
Echoes from Exile: After the Shaking (October 11, 2026)
2026/10/11
Today we continue Echoes from Exile with Ezekiel’s vision of a valley filled with dry bones. In a time when so much feels like it is shifting beneath us, Ezekiel reminds us that hope does not require the old world to return. God can breathe new life into what comes next.
As you listen today, consider what you have been breathing in lately, and whether it is producing fear and despair or the love, truth, and life of God’s Spirit.
Echoes from Exile: When Home Doesn't Feel Like Home (October 4, 2026)
2026/10/04
Today we begin a new series called Echoes from Exile, exploring how we live faithfully when the world around us no longer feels quite like home. Through the prophet Jeremiah, we are reminded that faith does not call us to retreat into the past, but to wake up to where we are, love our neighbors, and seek the flourishing of the communities we inhabit.
As you listen today, consider where you may be longing for what used to be, and what might change if you trusted that God is already at work creating something new.
The Art of One-Anothering: The Space that Grace Creates (September 27, 2026)
2026/09/27
Today we continue The Art of One Anothering by exploring the space that grace creates between us. None of us has fully grown into the compassion, patience, forgiveness, and love of Christ, yet grace gives us room to fail, time to grow, and freedom from trying to control one another.
As you listen today, consider where you might need to put down the ruler, make room for someone who is still becoming, and trust that God is still at work in both of you.
The Art of One-Anothering: Love in Motion (September 20, 2026)
2026/09/20
Today we continue The Art of One Anothering with perhaps the simplest and most challenging invitation of all: love one another. Jesus shows us a love that does not keep score or wait until it feels convenient. It gets up from the table, picks up the towel, and chooses to serve.
As you listen today, consider where love might need to move from something you feel into something you do, and who God may be inviting you to love without keeping score.
The Art of One-Anothering: Words That Make a World (September 13, 2026)
2026/09/13
Today we continue The Art of One Anothering by looking at something we use every day: our words. Scripture reminds us that what we say does more than communicate an idea. Our words can create distance or belonging, tear down or build up, wound or become vessels of grace for the people around us.
As you listen today, consider the world your words are creating for others, and how you might use them this week to make a little more room for grace.
The Art of One-Anothering: A Table with No Edges (September 6, 2026)
2026/09/06
Today we continue The Art of One Anothering by exploring what it means to truly welcome one another. Scripture reminds us that Christ does not wait for us to believe correctly, have everything figured out, or become someone different before making room for us. Welcome comes first, and that welcome creates the possibility for genuine belonging and transformation.
As you listen today, consider the tables in your own life. Who has been given a seat, who might still be standing at the edge, and how might Christ be inviting you to make room?
The Art of One-Anothering: The Mind of Christ (August 30, 2026)
2026/08/30
Today we begin a new series called The Art of One Anothering, exploring what it means to love the people God has placed right in front of us. Paul invites us to have the same mind as Christ, a way of seeing others that loosens our grip on judgment, looks beyond the labels we attach to people, and makes room to truly know them.
As you listen today, consider the labels you may have placed on someone in your life, and what might change if you looked again, paid attention, and allowed yourself to see more of who they really are.
Behind the Music: What's Going On? (August 23, 2026)
2026/08/23
Today’s message continues our Behind the Music series with Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On.” Through the song, the prophet Jeremiah, and the words of Jesus, we are invited to consider the difference between simply keeping the peace and actually becoming peacemakers. The peace of Christ does not ignore what is broken. It gives us the courage to name it, confront it, and work toward healing without allowing fear or hatred to take hold of us.
As you listen today, consider what is going on not only in the world around you, but within your own heart, and where Christ may be calling you to bring truth, love, and healing.
Behind the Music: I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For (August 16, 2026)
2026/08/16
Today’s message continues our Behind the Music series with U2’s “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.” It explores the restlessness and longing that so many of us experience, and the possibility that our searching is not evidence that God is absent. It may actually be one of the places where God is already at work, inviting us toward something deeper.
As you listen today, consider what you may be holding onto that keeps you from taking the next step, and remember that faith does not require us to have arrived. It simply asks us to keep listening, keep responding, and keep becoming.
Behind the Music: Into My Arms (August 9, 2026)
2026/08/09
Today’s message explores the beautiful tension between faith and doubt through the story of a desperate father who prays one of the most honest prayers in all of Scripture: "I believe; help my unbelief." It reminds us that faith is not about having every answer. It is about trusting God with what matters most, even when questions remain.
As you listen today, remember that God is not waiting for perfect certainty. Sometimes faith is simply taking the next step, believing that God's love is true enough to carry what our own hands no longer can.
Behind the Music: Everybody Hurts (August 2, 2026)
2026/08/02
Today we begin a new series called Songs That Sing Us Back, exploring songs that have given voice to our deepest joys and struggles. This morning's message pairs R.E.M.'s Everybody Hurts with the story of Elijah, reminding us that faith does not require us to hide our pain. Instead, it assures us that God meets us with compassion, often through the presence and care of others, especially when life feels too heavy to carry alone.
As you listen today, remember that whatever you may be carrying, you were never meant to carry it by yourself. Sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is hold on, reach out, and allow others to walk beside us.
Faith in Fiction: To Kill A Mockingbird (July 26, 2026)
2026/07/26
Today’s message invites us to revisit the story of To Kill a Mockingbird alongside the words of the Apostle Paul. Both remind us that spiritual maturity is more than growing older. It is learning to see others with compassion, to stand for justice with humility, and to let love shape the way we live in the world.
As you listen today, consider where God may be inviting you to see someone through new eyes, because when we begin to look at others with the love of Christ, we often discover that our own hearts are being changed as well.
