Episode 14: Quiet Quitting in Nursing: What’s Actually Yours to Carry?
2026/10/05
When does an organizational problem become your problem to carry?
After a conversation with my doctor about my health, work, and the guilt I felt even considering stepping back because we’re short staffed, he reminded me of something I desperately needed to hear:
Staffing is an organizational problem.
In this episode of The Wild Magic of Becoming, I’m talking about quiet quitting—not as checking out or no longer caring, but as recognizing where your responsibility ends.
We’re talking short staffing, burnout, coworker conflict, the guilt that comes with saying no to extra shifts, and what can happen when overwhelmed employees start blaming each other instead of recognizing the system they’re working within.
Because you can care deeply about your patients, clients, coworkers, and the work you do without sacrificing yourself to keep an understaffed organization running.
So ask yourself:
What is actually mine to carry?
And what might change if you finally put down what was never yours?
❤️ Nurture your mind. Care for your body. And never stop believing in the Wild Magic of Becoming.
Episode 13: Deconstruction, Witchcraft & Coming Home to Myself
2026/09/23
Episode 13 is one of my most personal episodes yet.
Thirteen has always been my lucky number, so it felt like the perfect time to share more of the woman behind the podcast. I’m opening up about growing up in a deeply Christian family, feeling drawn to witchcraft from an early age, and the fear, guilt, and judgment I had to work through while deconstructing beliefs that never truly felt like mine.
From insisting that Glinda was a good witch to hiding books in my backpack—and somehow being accused of summoning demons in a basement I was genuinely terrified of—this journey has been painful, complicated, and occasionally a little absurd.
I also share what being a witch means to me, why the lunar moth became the symbol of The Wild Magic of Becoming, and why becoming isn’t always about turning into someone new. Sometimes, it’s about remembering who you were before the world told you who you were supposed to be.
This is my personal experience, not a judgment of anyone else’s religion or spiritual path. If you’ve ever questioned what you were taught, hidden parts of yourself to remain accepted, or felt afraid to trust your own knowing, I hope this episode reminds you that you are not alone. ❤️
Episode 12: When Everyone Needs You | Midlife Burnout and Carrying Too Much
2026/09/04
Have you ever looked at the life you love and wondered why you are so tired of all of it?
In middle adulthood, everyone seems to need something from you. Your children need you. Your partner needs you. Your career takes everything you have. There are households to manage, relationships to maintain, aging parents to worry about, and dreams you are still trying to pursue. Then you are somehow expected to squeeze rest and self-care into whatever is left.
In this episode, I talk honestly about the mental and emotional exhaustion of carrying too many roles at once. I share the moment my son asked me to play Roblox and I realized how often exhaustion had made me put off the connection I desperately want to protect. I also explore why our brains sometimes reach for doom scrolling, distractions, or another goal when what we truly need is to feel cared for.
This is not another list of ways to manage an impossible load more efficiently. Self-care can help, but self-care cannot fix overload. Sometimes you do not need advice. You need someone to say, “I’ve got you. I’m here to help carry this with you.”
If you are overwhelmed by a life you genuinely love, you are not ungrateful, lazy, or failing. You are carrying too much, and you are not alone.
Episode 11: I Deserve Better Than This — What Self-Love Actually Looks Like
2026/08/22
Self-love isn’t always pretty. Sometimes it looks like saying no, setting boundaries, asking for help, walking away from what drains you, and finally deciding that your needs matter too.
In this episode of The Wild Magic of Becoming, I’m talking about people-pleasing, seeking love and validation outside of ourselves, and the fear that setting boundaries might cost us someone else’s approval or love.
I also get into empathy and the point where understanding everyone else can turn into neglecting yourself — because you can care deeply about other people without abandoning yourself in the process.
We’ll talk about work, relationships, burnout, self-worth, and the moment you finally look at your life and think:
I deserve better than this.
At the end, I’ll leave you with a few questions to help you reflect on where you may still be saying yes out of fear, looking outside yourself for proof that you matter, and where it might be time to start choosing yourself.
🌙 Nurture your mind. Care for your body. Rediscover the Wild Magic of Becoming.
Episode 10: Burnout - When Exhaustion Becomes Something Deeper
2026/08/12
What happens when you’re not just tired anymore?
In this episode of The Wild Magic of Becoming, we’re taking a deeper look at burnout—what it really is, how it can show up in our lives, and why healing may require more than rest and self-care.
We’ll talk about the realities of burnout in caregiving and healthcare, the limits of “just practice self-care,” and the patterns hiding underneath our exhaustion—people-pleasing, perfectionism, overworking, weak boundaries, and tying our worth to how much we can handle.
And maybe the goal isn’t to become the person who could carry everything again.
Maybe it’s to become someone who finally realizes she doesn’t have to. ✨
If you’ve ever wondered, “I know I can survive this…but is this really how I want to live?” this episode is for you.
🌙 Nurture your mind. Care for your body. Rediscover the wild magic of becoming.

2026/08/02
What exactly is a nurse coach…and how is it different from therapy, counseling, or traditional nursing?
In this episode of The Wild Magic of Becoming, I’m pulling back the curtain on the world of nurse coaching. Have you ever wondered how you’re supposed to find your purpose when life feels overwhelming?

* The difference between controlling others and communicating your own limits.

🌿 Your One Wild Step
The next time someone asks something of you, pause before answering. Take one deep breath and ask yourself:
• Do I truly want to do this?
• Do I genuinely have the energy for this?
• Am I saying yes because it aligns with my values—or because I’m afraid of disappointing someone?
Sometimes the smallest pause can become the beginning of the biggest transformation.

Have you ever felt pulled toward something new, but fear kept telling you that you weren’t ready?
In this episode of The Wild Magic of Becoming, I’m sharing a personal new beginning: starting the Nurse Life Coach Academy.
After more than 17 years in healthcare and over a decade as a registered nurse, I’ve learned that healing is about more than physical care. Sometimes people need encouragement, hope, and someone to walk beside them as they rediscover who they are and what they want next.

In this episode of The Wild Magic of Becoming, we’re exploring the power of tiny, intentional habits and how they quietly shape the lives we’re creating. We’ll talk about why perfection isn’t the goal, why consistency matters more than motivation, and how the smallest acts of self-care can lead to the biggest changes over time.

2026/06/30
Have you ever felt exhausted even after a full night’s sleep? Like you’re constantly pouring into everyone else while your own cup is running dry?

In this episode of The Wild Magic of Becoming, we explore what burnout really is, why so many of us ignore the warning signs, and how to begin breaking free from the cycle. Episode 3: Starting Over Without Shame
Have you ever felt like one mistake, one missed day, or one setback erased all of your progress?
Whether it’s your health, a goal, a habit, or a dream you’ve been working toward, it’s easy to fall into the trap of believing that falling off track means you’ve failed. But what if starting over isn’t a sign of failure? What if it’s simply part of the journey?
In this episode of The Wild Magic of Becoming, I talk about the power of giving ourselves grace, letting go of all-or-nothing thinking, and learning to begin again without shame. We’ll explore why setbacks are a normal part of growth and how self-compassion can help us move forward when perfection isn’t possible.
In this episode, we’ll discuss:
✨ Why setbacks don’t define your progress
✨ The danger of all-or-nothing thinking
✨ How shame keeps us stuck
✨ The importance of self-compassion
✨ Learning to start again with courage and grace
If you’ve been carrying guilt about a goal you haven’t reached, a habit you’ve abandoned, or a dream you’ve put on hold, this episode is your reminder that growth isn’t about never falling down—it’s about choosing to get back up.
Because becoming isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about having the courage to begin again.

In this episode of The Wild Magic of Becoming, I explore the deeper meaning of self-care and why caring for ourselves is one of the most important things we can do. I share lessons I’ve learned as a nurse, wife, mom, and lifelong learner about burnout, balance, and the power of small daily choices.

✨ How small habits can create lasting change
