Choices for Eternity - President Russell M. Nelson - May 2022 & Conference Prep
2026/09/27
What truly defines us—and how should that identity shape the way we live? In this episode of Our Walk & Our Talk, Nathan and Morgan are joined by Wade Rasmussen to revisit President Russell M. Nelson’s powerful 2022 devotional, “Choices for Eternity.” Together, they explore the eternal truths that should guide our mortal lives: that we will die, be resurrected through Jesus Christ, and stand before God in judgment. The conversation dives into three foundational truths President Nelson invites us to understand: who we really are, what Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have offered us, and what it means to become truly converted. The group also discusses the three identities that should come before every other label—child of God, child of the covenant, and disciple of Jesus Christ—and how those identities can bring clarity and purpose to our work, families, relationships, and daily decisions. We also talk about eternal perspective, divine potential, spiritual progression, nurturing our testimonies, and learning to see ourselves and others through the Savior’s eyes. How has this message from Pres. Nelson impacted your life? We would love to hear from you. Comment below or email us at [email protected] Show Notes - Scriptures and References
