Why Godliness in Leadership Matters | Ron Merrell
2026/10/18
Join us as Teaching Pastor Ron Merrell continues our journey through Titus with a message about the importance of godly leadership within the church. In the letter of Titus, Paul explains the importance of putting things in order and appointing leaders who reflect the character of Christ. Godly leaders are called to shepherd His people with humility, lead by example, teach the truth, and help others grow in their faith. This passage highlights three important qualities of spiritual leadership: Faithfulness and leadership at home Strength of character and godly integrity A firm understanding of God’s Word and the ability to teach it Godly leadership is not about power or position. It is about serving others, building up the church, and helping people grow toward unity, maturity, and a life of service to Christ. Not everyone is called to be an elder, but we are all called to reflect the fullness of Christ. NEXT STEPS Have you made a decision to follow Jesus and now wondering what your next step is? Work for the Kingdom Because God Picked You | John S. Dickerson
2026/10/11
Chosen by God. Called to Grow. Join us this weekend as Lead Pastor John S. Dickerson begins our journey through Titus and shares two truths that can shape how we live for God: 1. Your spiritual growth doesn’t happen by accident. 2. God picked you. God has chosen and called you for a purpose. But growing in your faith takes intention—spending time in His Word, praying, obeying what He shows you, and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform your life. Discover what it means to grow in your faith and work for the Kingdom because God picked you. God picked you—not simply to sit in a church service and accumulate knowledge, but to work for His Kingdom. You are called to grow. You are called to obey. You are called to serve. You are called to make disciples. And just as Paul invested in Titus, we are challenged to ask: Who is the one person you can pray for, hope for, look for, and help lead toward Jesus? Your spiritual growth won't happen by accident. God picked you. Now work for His Kingdom. NEXT STEPS Have you made a decision to follow Jesus and now wondering what your next step is? One Decision Away
2026/10/04
One decision for Jesus can change your story, your city, your continent. How does the power of Jesus actually enter your life story—and change your story for the better? In this message from Lead Pastor John S. Dickerson, we journey through Acts 16 and discover how God used a series of seemingly ordinary decisions to launch a movement that would impact a city, a continent, and generations of people. Paul and Silas faced opposition, persecution, imprisonment, and an unpredictable journey—even while faithfully following God’s direction. Yet God was working through every difficulty. In Acts 16, we meet Lydia, the first Christian in Europe, and the Philippian jailer, whose decision to follow Jesus changed not only his own story but also the story of his family and the emerging church in Philippi. That church would become the recipient of the biblical letter we know as Philippians, and from this early movement, the message of Christ would continue spreading throughout Europe and beyond. One decision for Jesus can change your story, your city, your continent. NEXT STEPS Have you made a decision to follow Jesus and now wondering what your next step is? Invincible Hope | John Dickerson
2026/09/27
What do you do when life feels broken, your choices bring regret, and you don’t know where to turn? In this message, Lead Pastor John S. Dickerson takes us into the Book of Acts, where Paul and Silas find themselves beaten, imprisoned, and seemingly without hope. Yet in the middle of their darkest circumstances, God was still at work. The story of the Philippian jailer reminds us that even when we find ourselves in a place of fear, failure, regret, or desperation, God can meet us there. Sometimes, one good decision can begin to change the direction of our lives. The themes of sin, regret, forgiveness, redemption, and coming home to the Father remind us that our failures do not have to define our future. Like the jailer who asked, “What must I do to be saved?”, we are invited to turn toward God and receive His grace. The Father is waiting for us—not to condemn us, but to welcome us home. Even in our greatest moments of ruin, God can bring redemption. NEXT STEPS Have you made a decision to follow Jesus and now wondering what your next step is? A New Start | Bob Merritt
2026/09/20
Have you ever needed a new start? In this week’s message, Guest Speaker Bob Merritt shares a powerful message about what happens when our choices leave us feeling stuck, broken, or far from God. Through the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15, Bob reminds us that we all have moments when we find ourselves in a “glorious mess”—but our mess does not have to be the end of our story. Sin often begins with a thought, moves into action, and eventually brings pain and loss. But even in our deepest moments, there is an opportunity for redemption. The good news is that one good decision can begin to change everything. Like the prodigal son who chose to go back home to his father, we can take a step toward God—even when we feel unworthy or unsure where to begin. And when we turn toward the Father, we discover that He is waiting for us. His response is compassion, restoration, belonging, and love. No matter what you’ve done or how far you’ve wandered, there is a way home. You may be in a glorious ruin, but God is not finished with your story. The Rescue Swimmer | Ron Merrell
2026/09/06
Where are you on the journey? How are you doing on the journey? And who is guiding you on the journey? In this week's message, Teaching Pastor Ron Merrell invites us to consider an essential truth for every season of life: Jesus Christ is our only real rescue on the open seas of life’s journey. Psalm 51 reminds us of our need for God’s mercy, unfailing love, and great compassion. We all carry transgressions, iniquity, and sin—but God meets us with grace and forgiveness. Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the One through whom all things were created, and the One in whom all things hold together. Through Christ, God reconciles us to Himself and makes peace through the blood Jesus shed on the cross. At the cross, Jesus took what we deserved and gave us what we could never deserve. Wherever you are on the journey, Jesus is our hope, our guide, and our rescue. Scripture: Psalm 51:1–2 NIV; Colossians 1:15–20 NIV Take a moment to ask yourself: • Where am I on the journey? • How am I doing on the journey? • Who is guiding me on the journey? May this message draw your heart back to the One who holds all things together. #RonMerrell #Jesus #Faith #Psalm51 #Colossians1 #TheCross #ChristianSermon #LifeJourney NEXT STEPS Have you made a decision to follow Jesus and now wondering what your next step is? Go With Jesus | John S. Dickerson
2026/08/30
What if the miracle you’ve been praying for is on the other side of an uncomfortable act of obedience? In our last week of the Revival Sparks series, Lead Pastor John S. Dickerson shares from Luke 5:1–11 about what it means to obey Jesus—even when His instructions are uncomfortable, toilsome, or don’t make sense. Jesus told Simon Peter to go out into the deep water and let down his nets again. Peter had already worked all night and caught nothing. He had every reason to question the instruction—but he chose to obey. And his obedience led to a miracle. Sometimes Jesus will ask you to do things that are inconvenient, difficult, or outside of your understanding. But if you say no because it’s uncomfortable, you may miss what Jesus wants to do through your obedience. Peter’s story reminds us that obedience isn’t always easy, but Jesus is always worthy of our trust. What is Jesus asking you to obey today—even if it’s uncomfortable or doesn’t make sense? #RevivalSparks #Jesus #Obedience #Faith #Luke5 NEXT STEPS Have you made a decision to follow Jesus and now wondering what your next step is? Fanning Your Revival Flames | John S. Dickerson
2026/08/16
Who can you trust? In Week 3 of our “Revival Sparks” sermon series, Lead Pastor John S. Dickerson reminds us that as human interactions become less personal, peaceful, and joyful, we have an opportunity to be more like Jesus than ever before. The way you live may be the only example of Jesus some people ever see. We can represent His heart through the way we love, listen, serve, and treat others. In a world where genuine connection can be hard to find, God can use us to bring His love, peace, and joy to those around us. Revival Now | Bob Merritt
2026/08/09
Jesus chose you, but following Him still requires a choice. What does it really mean to believe in Jesus, receive His grace, and surrender your life to follow Him? In week two of our message series “Revival Sparks”, Guest Speaker Bob Merritt explores three defining words of the Christian life: chosen, believe, and sacrifice. Jesus chose ordinary people to know Him, follow Him, and bear lasting fruit. Yet Scripture also shows that many encountered Jesus without truly receiving Him. Genuine belief is more than knowing facts about Christ. It means trusting who He is, accepting the life He offers, and allowing that faith to transform how we live. Jesus invites anyone who is spiritually thirsty to come to Him and receive living water. He also calls His followers to deny themselves, take up their cross daily, and follow Him. Grace is freely given, but discipleship requires surrender. Discover what it means to be chosen by Jesus, believe in Him personally, and embrace the sacrifice of faithful discipleship. #Jesus #ChristianSermon #ChosenByGod #BelieveInJesus #Discipleship #ConnectionPointe NEXT STEPS Have you made a decision to follow Jesus and now wondering what your next step is? 2026/08/02

When life moves quickly and another season just seems to disappear, daily time with God helps you grow in faith, recognize His work, and experience renewal in your heart, family, and the world at large. Build an intentional daily rhythm with God through Scripture, your Salvation Prayer List, and the revised 40 Days to Revival Workbook and Devotional. God can restore your soul, one day at a time. Being There & Being Quiet | Ron Merrell
2026/07/26
How do you help a friend who is hurting? In this message from our Fostering Friendship teaching series, Teaching Pastor Ron Merrell looks at the story of Job and his friends to explore what biblical friendship looks like in seasons of suffering, grief, pain, and spiritual struggle. Helping hurting people matters deeply, but it is also tender work. When someone is walking through loss, trauma, disappointment, or confusion, our words and presence can either bring comfort or add weight to an already heavy burden. The book of Job gives us a powerful picture of both the beauty and danger of trying to care for someone in pain. This message explores why helping hurting friends is so important, why spiritual warfare is real, how well-meaning people can become harmful counselors, and why presence, listening, silence, and service are precious gifts to people who are suffering. Job’s story reminds us that hurting people do not always need quick answers. Sometimes they need faithful friends who will sit with them, listen well, serve quietly, pray honestly, and point them gently toward the presence of God. If you have ever wondered what to say to a grieving friend, how to comfort someone who is suffering, or how to be a better friend in painful seasons, this message offers a biblical and compassionate path forward. Jesus does not stand far away from our suffering. He enters it, carries it, and meets us in the middle of it. #FosteringFriendship #ChristianFriendship #HelpingHurtingFriends #BookOfJob #ConnectionPointe NEXT STEPS Have you made a decision to follow Jesus and now wondering what your next step is? Loyalty & Consistency | Ron Merrell
2026/07/19
In a culture where relationships can feel temporary, what does faithful Christian friendship actually look like? In this message, Teaching Pastor Ron Merrell explores biblical friendship through the story of Ruth and Naomi. Ruth’s actions demonstrate that meaningful friendship is voluntary, costly, enduring, and always a reflection of God’s character. Discover how to build stronger, healthier relationships by keeping your word, respecting boundaries, protecting others and continuing to show up even when friendship becomes inconvenient. Whether you are longing for deeper friendships, trying to become a more trustworthy friend, or learning how faith should shape your relationships, this sermon offers practical biblical wisdom for loving people well. God can use loyal and consistent friendship to bring encouragement, strength, healing, and hope into the lives of others. #ChristianFriendship #BiblicalFriendship #RonMerrell #ConnectionPointe #ChristianSermon NEXT STEPS Have you made a decision to follow Jesus and now wondering what your next step is? Openness & Vulnerability | Ron Merrell
2026/07/12
What does it take to build real friendship? In this message from our Fostering Friendship series, Teaching Pastor Ron Merrell looks at how openness and vulnerability shape the kind of friendships God designed us to experience. Friendship is not built through image management, pretending, or keeping people at a safe distance. Scripture shows us that wise, life-giving relationships require trust, honesty, humility, and the courage to be known. Through the friendship of David and Jonathan in 1 Samuel, we see a picture of loyalty, love, covenant, grief, and deep connection. Their friendship reminds us that meaningful relationships are formed when we move beyond surface-level connection and allow others to walk with us in both strength and weakness. This message explores why biblical friendship requires wisdom and intentionality, how openness fosters trust, why carrying one another’s burdens matters, and how confession, comfort, and weakness can deepen relationships within Christian community. If you are longing for deeper friendships, healthier relationships, or a stronger sense of community, this message will encourage you to take a step toward honesty, trust, and connection. God did not design us to follow Jesus alone. Real friendship requires courage, but it can also become one of the places where God brings healing, wisdom, encouragement, and strength.
