The hour had come
2026/10/18
This sermon examines John 13:1, highlighting the pivotal moment when Jesus recognizes that his hour has arrived to depart from the world. The teaching draws a theological parallel between the Passover Lamb in Exodus and Christ's ultimate sacrifice, emphasizing that his death provides a greater deliverance from sin than the Exodus provided from slavery. The central theme focuses on the specific, electing love of Christ for his people, distinguishing it from general compassion by rooting it in the Father's predestinatory choice before the foundation of the world. The sermon assures believers that this love is eternal and unbreakable, securing them through tribulation and into eternity, as affirmed in Romans 8. The tone is instructional and comforting, inviting listeners to rest in the certainty of Christ's keeping power and his welcoming invitation to all who come to him.
Merciful
2026/10/18
This sermon examines the encounter between Jesus and the woman caught in adultery, highlighting the tension between divine justice and mercy. The preacher identifies the Pharisees' use of the law as a manipulative tactic to trap Jesus, contrasting their hypocrisy with Christ's genuine compassion. By challenging the accusers to cast the first stone, Jesus disarms their plot while upholding the seriousness of sin, demonstrating that only the sinless can judge. The central message emphasizes that Jesus satisfies the law's demands through his own sacrifice, allowing him to extend mercy without compromising God's holiness. The sermon concludes with an invitation for sinners to approach Christ, who meets them in their brokenness and calls them to a new life of holiness through the work of the Holy Spirit.
When Mob Rule Won the Day
2026/10/18
Matthew 27:22-23 "Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified. And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified." This sermon examines the trial of Jesus in Matthew 27 to illustrate the spiritual realities of damnation, salvation, and compassion. The preacher argues that the crowd's demand for crucifixion represents the path of damnation, where individuals are manipulated by sin and reject Christ despite clear revelation and invitation. Conversely, the release of the guilty criminal Barabbas serves as a picture of salvation by substitution, highlighting that Jesus died in the sinner's place to satisfy divine justice. The sermon concludes by focusing on Christ's silent submission to suffering as a demonstration of His profound compassion for sinners. The overall tone is convicting and urgent, calling the audience to reject the crowd's way and receive the free gift of redemption through faith in Christ's atoning work.
God's Compassion for the Widow
2026/10/18
This sermon explores the biblical foundation for caring for widows, arguing that the church's obligation is rooted in the character and work of God. By examining Deuteronomy 10, the message highlights that God is a just ruler who protects the vulnerable, contrasting this divine standard with a culture that often views the helpless as burdens. The speaker connects the Old Testament redemption of Israel from Egypt to the New Covenant spiritual redemption through Christ, asserting that believers are called to reflect God's compassion by actively supporting those in need. The tone is both convicting and pastoral, urging the congregation to reject societal indifference and instead embody the dignity and care that God extends to every human life.
From Blind to Believing (Part 1)
2026/10/18
Jesus healed the blind man in Mark chapter 8. But only after the man's friends brought him to Jesus. And only after Jesus took him by the hand and led him out of the city. The Great Commission is urgent and vital. We as Christians should be bringing people to Jesus. Only Jesus saves and brings us out of the dead state we were in. But Christians need to be pointing others to Christ. Hear Pastor Brian dive into this Biblical account to explain.

WHEN THE SHEPHERD WALKS BEFORE YOU, MERCY FOLLOWS! Psalm 23:6 KJV The child of God can face yesterday without being imprisoned by it, tomorrow without being terrified of it, and eternity without being afraid of it—because the Lord is his Shepherd! As David closes the beloved Twenty-third Psalm, he gives believers three powerful reasons to face life with confidence: God's goodness has been working through our past, His mercy continues to pursue us through the present, and His promise of an eternal home secures our future. 2026/10/18
The Son of Man Goes Forth Conquering
2026/10/18
This sermon explores the theme of divine compassion as illustrated through Jesus' interactions with a leper and a paralytic in Luke 5. The central message asserts that Christ's presence and actions, empowered by the Holy Spirit, transform lives by cleansing sin and restoring relationships with God and others. The text highlights the theological significance of Jesus touching the leper, violating cultural norms, and forgiving the paralytic's sins to demonstrate his divine authority. Pastor contrasts the responses of the healed men, noting that true gratitude involves both faith and obedience to Christ's commands, such as the paralytic's immediate act of walking and glorifying God. Finally, the sermon calls the congregation to acknowledge Jesus as Lord, obey his word by putting off sin, and serve as instruments of his compassion in their own communities.

I Will Never Forget Thee
2026/10/17
Anticipation Service. VaultAI Summary: This sermon addresses the spiritual experience of despair and the fear of abandonment that believers may face amidst suffering, using the lament of Zion in Isaiah 49 as a central text. The preacher contrasts this human tendency to walk by sight with the divine reality that God's faithfulness is rooted in His unchangeable essence and eternal love. By comparing God's commitment to the profound bond between a mother and child, the message emphasizes that while human compassion can fail, God's mercy is inexhaustible and His promises are sealed by the sacrifice of Christ. The sermon highlights the theological significance of the Lord's Supper as a tangible sign and seal of this covenant, where Christ's love is personally applied to the believer's soul. Ultimately, the text serves as a pastoral comfort, assuring the audience that their names are graven upon the palms of God's hands, ensuring they are never forgotten or forsaken.
