The Law and the Sinner
2026/10/18
But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

I Will Never Forget Thee
2026/10/17
Anticipation Service. VaultAI Summary: This sermon addresses the spiritual experience of despair and the fear of abandonment that believers may face amidst suffering, using the lament of Zion in Isaiah 49 as a central text. The preacher contrasts this human tendency to walk by sight with the divine reality that God's faithfulness is rooted in His unchangeable essence and eternal love. By comparing God's commitment to the profound bond between a mother and child, the message emphasizes that while human compassion can fail, God's mercy is inexhaustible and His promises are sealed by the sacrifice of Christ. The sermon highlights the theological significance of the Lord's Supper as a tangible sign and seal of this covenant, where Christ's love is personally applied to the believer's soul. Ultimately, the text serves as a pastoral comfort, assuring the audience that their names are graven upon the palms of God's hands, ensuring they are never forgotten or forsaken.
The Lord Led Me
2026/10/17
This sermon explores the narrative of Genesis 24 as a profound illustration of God's sovereign providence in securing a wife for Isaac. The central message emphasizes that divine appointments are not the result of human planning or chance, but rather the fulfillment of God's eternal counsel, as seen in the servant's prayer and Rebekah's timely arrival. The text presents a typological view where Abraham represents the Father, Isaac the Son, and the nameless servant the Holy Spirit, who testifies to the riches of the Father and the glory of the Son without self-glorification. The preacher highlights Rebekah's willing response, "I will go," as a model of the believer's faith in Christ, whom they have not yet seen but love through the witness of the Spirit. Finally, the sermon addresses the theme of comfort in grief, noting that Isaac was comforted after his mother's death, and encourages believers to find hope in the resurrection and to redeem the time by living faithfully in their relationships.

3 John 3-4 • You Already Preached to Your Kids Today
2026/10/08
3 John 3-4 — Your children can't see your soul. They can see your walk. A sermon on walking in truth and raising children who do. This family integrated church sermon from 3 John 3-4 asks the question behind every Christian parent's prayer: what report is getting back about how I walk? John had no greater joy than to hear that his children walk in truth, and the report came by the brethren who saw it. This verse-by-verse expository preaching through 3 John shows why knowing the truth is not the same as walking in it. Some of us know the truth in the pew and lose it in the parking lot. Everything the colt learned in the round pen stays in the pen when the gate opens. If you grew up in church, can quote John 3:16, and still wonder why the truth hasn't reached your feet, this message is for you. It will also challenge every father and mother who wants Christian parenting that works: your children read your walk before they hear your talk. The sermon also sets Gaius against Diotrophes, two men in the same church under the same preaching, with two different walks and two different reports. It ends with encouragement for the parent who is still praying for a child who hasn't come home. This sermon walks through 3 John 3-4, John 14:6, 1 John 1:6 and 2:6, 1 Corinthians 4:15, Proverbs 23:24, 27:11 and 10:1, and Isaiah 53:10, explaining: - How John knew Gaius's soul prospered: a soul nobody could see showed up in a walk everybody could see - Why knowing the truth is not the same as having the truth - Why the truth is a person (John 14:6), and what happens when the truth moves in - How to walk in truth: one step at a time, Monday through Saturday
Resisting Greed, Seeking Compassion
2026/10/08
This instructional sermon examines the casuistic legislation found in Deuteronomy 22 and 23, arguing that these laws are tailored to the specific historical context of ancient Israel rather than serving as universal moral codes. The central theme identifies the restraint of greed and covetousness as the unifying principle behind diverse regulations, ranging from property rights and agricultural practices to family responsibilities and sexual ethics. By analyzing specific passages such as the prohibition against mixed garments and the protection of the mother bird, the text illustrates how these rules cultivate a community characterized by holiness, justice, and compassion. The discussion further explores the theological significance of sanctuary exclusions and the provision for the poor, highlighting the tension between strict legal boundaries and the broader prophetic vision of inclusion. Ultimately, the sermon encourages believers to apply the underlying virtues of these ancient laws to modern Christian life, fostering a spirit of neighborly love and ethical responsibility.
Samuel: Born By Hannah's Faith
2026/10/07
When talking about Samuel's faith, you would be remiss if you did not begin by looking at his mother Hannah's faith. Her fervent prayer during her barrenness illustrates the nature of biblical faith as a family legacy and a response to divine sovereignty. Her invocation of the Lord of Hosts reveals a deep understanding of spiritual warfare, where she appeals to God's power to overcome her afflictions and fulfill His promises. The teaching emphasizes that true faith involves humility, persistent prayer, and the recognition that God exalts those who seek His glory rather than human approval, ultimately pointing to the ultimate victory secured by Christ.
Israel Attacked by Hamas: 3 Years Later
2026/10/07
Following the dictates of the Quran such as 5:51 – "O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and Nasara (Christians) as friends." There's 9:73: "O you prophet, perform jihad against the infidels and the hypocrites, and be harsh with them. And their abode will be hell, and evil is the final place." There's 47:4: "So when you meet those who became infidels, so strike the necks until you have made a great slaughter among them." Lastly, there's 25:52: "So do not obey the infidels, and perform jihad against them with a big jihad." That's exactly what took place, three years ago today, when the Islamic terrorist group Hamas launched the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. On that day nearly 1,200 Israelis were killed and 251 people taken hostage. As Jihad Watch pointed out, "Terrorists burned people and pets alive, children among them, looted homes, set houses and neighborhoods on fire, took civilians and bodies and filmed it. One terrorist called his parents from a victim's phone and said he had butchered ten Jews, including the woman whose phone he had taken and her husband." The article continued, "...they shot civilians on the roads, in shelters and at intersections then drove on to the communities. They shot the old, fathers and mothers with children, and teenagers. They also killed whoever was in the way, including foreign workers." The attacks against Israel continue…
