Caught Up in the Moment and Missing the Miracle
2026/09/27
This sermon explores the life of Esther to illustrate how believers can avoid missing God's miraculous plans by maintaining the right internal posture during difficult seasons. The central message emphasizes that God's providence prepares individuals for specific purposes, but this preparation can be derailed by bitterness, sin, or fear. The speaker outlines three key disciplines: keeping a pleasant spirit despite hardship, maintaining a pure soul in the face of cultural pressure, and taking a purposeful stand through prayer and courage. By examining Esther's journey from captivity to queenship, the message encourages listeners to handle present moments with faithfulness so they are ready for God's future work. The tone is pastoral and challenging, urging the audience to take personal responsibility for their spiritual condition rather than blaming circumstances.

(1) Israel Watch 9/27/26: An epidemic of rape and abuse of women in Gaza BY Hamas (while antisemites lie and blame Israel). We play a 2+ minute clip of Netanyahu's UN rebuke of nations who walked out on him. We play a video clip of Donald Trump rejecting Iran's counter-deal offer and review the Gog Magog Watch as Iran-Persia and allies invade Israel, "To take a spoil, and to take a prey". (2) Pres. Trump Did NOT Usher In The Image of the Beast: We refute the OBVIOUS Bible abuse and lies about the "Change A.I. to S.I." speech at the U.N. (3) But the Unholy See of the Beast IS Here: It is the Antichrist Papacy. We watch hundreds of thousands of adoring worshippers of "the man of sin" and review quotes from the last four centuries demonstrating that our position that the final Pope will be the son of perdition (First Beast/Antichrist) was the standard position of Bible believers until recent decades. (4) On A Lighter Note: Finish The Meme. A raccoon comments on "smart cars, phones, etc." A warning from Pfizer about the need for a fourth booster. And a "positive affirmation" quote from none other than Darth Vader! https://bbfohio.com
Connected
2026/09/23
God created us for connection, first with Him and then with the people He places in our lives. While sin often pulls us toward isolation, blame, and broken relationships, Jesus invites us into a life of peace, freedom, and genuine connection. As we keep our eyes fixed on Him, He gives us the strength to run our race with purpose, build healthy relationships, and reflect His love in every area of life.
Sometimes You've Just Got To Walk It Off
2026/09/23
The sermon explores the decision of the Apostle Paul to walk twenty miles to Asos rather than sail, interpreting this choice as a necessary response to the trauma of witnessing Eutychus fall to his death. The central message emphasizes that some trials cannot be bypassed by taking the easy route or relying on external comfort; instead, believers must engage in a personal, often difficult process of working through their pain with God. Key themes include the impact of sudden tragedy on a minister's confidence, the distinction between mere comfort and genuine praise, and the importance of maintaining one's testimony amidst external blame and internal turmoil. The tone is pastoral and convicting, urging the audience to recognize that enduring hardship with faith leads to spiritual maturity and a deeper, tear-tested belief. The text highlights that while God provides mercy and restoration, the individual must actively process the event to regain confidence and continue serving effectively.

Journaling Through Genesis - 3:9-15
2026/09/16
This study examines Genesis 3 as the foundational text for the proto-gospel, highlighting God's immediate initiative to seek out Adam and Eve after the fall. The analysis emphasizes that God's question, "Where are you?" reveals His omniscience and His role as a seeking Savior who confronts humanity with the conviction of sin. While Adam and Eve respond with fear, shame, and blame-shifting, God pronounces a curse on the serpent and introduces the promise of a Redeemer who will crush the serpent's head. This passage is presented as the first announcement of good news, establishing that salvation begins with the recognition of guilt and ends with the assurance of Christ's ultimate victory over evil.

Don't Blame God

Jesus Is the Light in Our Darkness
2026/09/13
When Jesus and His disciples met a man who had been blind from birth, the disciples wanted to know who was to blame. But Jesus showed them that sometimes our struggles are not about punishment or blame—they can become opportunities for God to reveal His power. When we face difficult situations, we may ask, "Why me?" But God can use even our hardest seasons for His glory. Your situation may be difficult, but it is not beyond God's ability to change. Jesus said, "I am the light of the world." He then healed the man, and for the first time in his life, he could see. This reminds us that Jesus can bring light into our darkest situations. Even when we don't understand what God is doing, we can trust Him and obey His Word. Where there is darkness, Jesus can bring light; where there is hopelessness, He can bring hope.
The Lord Led Me
2026/09/13
The sermon distinguishes between divine testing, which strengthens faith, and temptation, which originates from human desire rather than God. It warns against the dangerous practice of attributing sinful impulses to God's leading, emphasizing that believers must rely on Scripture and church counsel to discern true guidance. The speaker illustrates how unchecked desires escalate into sin and ultimately death, using biblical examples like Adam and Achan to show this progression. By recognizing the fallen nature of personal feelings, the congregation is urged to submit their wills to objective truth and spiritual authority. The message concludes with an encouragement to trust in God's faithfulness to refine believers through trials rather than lead them into sin.
