Sometimes the strangest experiences come with a sense that someone, or something, is watching or maybe watching out for us. In this episode of Campfire, a childhood home has a mysterious presence, while a wrong turn on the New York City subway leads to a dangerous late-night situation and the sudden appearance of two unforgettable strangers. Then there’s a bizarre Thanksgiving tale complete with the sound of shattering glass and a culinary first in the annals of Campfire. Things take a darker turn in a park after midnight, when the desperate cries of a woman seem to move closer and closer. And that's only the start. It’s an episode full of guardians, echoes, synchronicities, and the kind of unexplained details that make you wonder whether coincidence is really enough of an explanation. -- NOTE: The topic of suicide was mentioned on this episode. A creepy New Orleans hotel stay takes a very strange turn. Elsewhere, a silent triangular craft glides low over the rooftops in an encounter that becomes even more unsettling once the witness realizes other people have reported seeing almost the exact same thing. We also hear about a fog-shrouded drive where the clock simply does not seem to add up, and two brothers who may have shared the same dream from different points of view. It’s the kind of episode that moves from eerie to deeply puzzling, with stories that leave just enough unanswered to keep you thinking long after the Campfire goes out. We also hear from someone working alone when an unseen presence suddenly seems determined to make itself known, turning an ordinary workplace into something far more intimidating. Then there’s a remarkable daylight encounter with something in the sky that simply did not behave the way the witness expected it to. What was it, and how do you explain what happened next? And that’s just the start of the great Campfire stories this week, filled with strange experiences, impossible moments, and the kind of mysteries that stay with you long after the fire burns down. -- VIRTUAL CAMPFIRE GROUP Join our FREE online community at https://virtualcampfiregroup.com EVENTS Hope to see you soon at one of Jim’s live events: https://jimharold.com/events YOUTUBE CHANNEL Be sure to subscribe to Jim’s YouTube channel at: https://youtube.com/jimharold  JOIN JIM’S SPOOKY STUDIO PLUS CLUB You can get access to Jim’s entire back catalog of Campfire and a TON of exclusive content with the Spooky Studio Plus Club. A Canadian listener tells us tales of coincidence and synchronicity, we hear about a haunted house, a vision of Mother Mary and a favorite story from a past Campfire. Ordinary places turn strange without warning. A passing glance, a familiar room, or a quiet street suddenly feels like a doorway into something else. The stories in this episode leave behind the same uneasy question: did these people encounter a ghost, a piece of the past, or something we do not yet have a name for? There is a gentler side to the mystery, too, as loved ones seem to reach back through dreams, songs, and deeply personal signs. Some of these moments are eerie, some are comforting, and a few are unexpectedly funny. Taken together, they suggest that the unexplained is not always about fear. Sometimes it is about connection.
