On today's IGN The Fix: Games, During an Overwatch 2 Reddit AMA, Overwatch 2 director Aaron Keller confirmed that the upcoming Overwatch sequel will replace the original Overwatch when Overwatch 2 launches in October. Back in March 2022, Destiny 2 YouTubers were hit with fake Bungie Destiny 2 DMCA takedowns. Now, Bungie has found the culprit and Bungie is on a warpath to sue for as much as $7.6 million. Former Sega programmer and Sonic co-creator Yuji Naka may have confirmed that Michael Jackson did indeed work on the original Sonic the Hedgehog 3 soundtrack. From the core cast of six characters to their battle abilities and the world they live in, here's everything we've learned today. When Final Fantasy 16 was first revealed, many fans immediately assumed that it would follow in the footsteps of its predecessor and be a large-scale open-world RPG. According to producer Naoki Yoshida, though, that won't be the case. The sci-fi RPG from CD Projekt Red is being turned into a board game. On today's IGN The Fix: Games, Sucker Punch is looking to hire some new talent to work on what appears to be an open-world game with action and stealth elements. While Sucker Punch hasn't announced anything yet, Ghost of Tsushima ticks all three of those boxes, so it's possible that a sequel is in the works right now. Developer Mediatonic has confirmed that the Steam version of Fall Guys will still continue to receive full support, despite being delisted from Steam today. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth appears to divert dramatically from the plot of Final Fantasy 7 where it was left off in Remake and the sequence of events might not be the same as fans of the original remember. A legendary metal vocalist lent his voice for a new rendition of the theme song for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder's revenge. The original Pokemon Snap is coming to Nintendo Switch Online. Assassin's Creed 15th Anniversary Celebration Steam, which celebrated the release of the original Assassin's Creed in 2007, announced a new rogue-lite mode for Assassin's Creed Valhalla among other things releasing later this year.
