Each episode we bring you the best music of all genres from throughout the world, and this week we'll be speaking with legendary singer/songwriter/A-list record producer and music icon Peter Asher.  On September 5th, Peter is going to be performing on Long Island as part of a triple bill with The Fixx and Colin Blunstone of The Zombies, and also in New York City on October 1st at Adler Hall at the New York Society for Ethical Culture. Peter and his band will also be performing an intimate concert for one night only on October 31 at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London called Songs and Stories.  It will be a limited ticketed event and include a live audience.

Having come to prominence as the music director of J. Giles Band singer Peter Wolf’s outfit, coordinating the onstage arrangements, playing on several tours, and co-producing Wolf’s 1996 album “Long Time”, Johnny was asked to join The Yardbirds as their lead guitarist in 2015. On top of all, of this, Johnny has maintained a prolific solo career, spanning three full-length albums, a Grammy nomination, the honor of Boston Music Awars “Blues Artist Of The Year 2010”, and a spot in the revered Boston Music Hall Of Fame.

Each episode we bring you the best music of all genres from throughout the world, and this week we’ll be speaking with Jim Faith - the Founder and Producer of the Great South Bay Music Festival that takes place this year at Shorefront Park in Patchogue NY from July 23rd through July 26th. This years festival features a wide variety of artists including The Used, Sublime, Gov’t. Mule, and My Morning Jacket among many others. Jim Faith has been a fixture of the New York music scene since his days as a musician, but in more recent years he's not only revitalized the arts and culture profile of Long Island through his work with the festival, but also as a cofounder of The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Musical Arts from Five Towns College in 2021, and his work on behalf of several charities has improved the quality of life on Long Island significantly.
