Did you know that God is sovereign even over the bad theology you learned as a kid? Mike talks about what he learned as a liberal Lutheran, specifically, about the Reformation. Hint: Mike shares his Confirmation quiz from 1973. It is hilarious.

Pastor Mike continues his theological series on the doctrine of imputation, focusing on the second and third great imputations: the crediting of believers' sins to Jesus Christ on the cross and the imputation of Christ's active obedience and righteousness to the believer's account. Building upon the concept of federal headship from Romans 5, the hosts explain how Christ perfectly obeyed the law in humanity's place to secure eternal justification and assurance.   Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/uvViJae516U  No Compromise Radio “Always biblical, always provocative, always in that order.” Episode 78: “Three Great Imputations" Hosts: Pastor Mike Abendroth (Pastor & Author) Produced/Edited By: Marrio Escobar (Owner of D2L Productions)

Jesus was inherently righteous. He obeyed for others, not Himself. Rejoice in the obedience of the perfect Man, for you!

Pastor Mike and Austin Hobbs explore the foundational theological doctrine of imputation and federal headship. Building on a previous discussion about the two greatest commandments, they explain how representation works in Scripture, contrasting views such as Pelagianism and the seminal view with federal headship. The hosts unpack the first two of three great imputations: the imputation of Adam's initial sin to all humanity via federal headship in Romans 5, and the imputation of believers' sins to Jesus Christ on the cross, as reflected in 2 Corinthians 5 and Isaiah 53.   Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/L1V5ddZgm9g  No Compromise Radio “Always biblical, always provocative, always in that order.” Episode 77: “Understanding Federal Headship" Hosts: Pastor Mike Abendroth (Pastor & Author) Special Guest: Austin Hobbs (Pastoral Assistant) Produced/Edited By: Marrio Escobar (Owner of D2L Productions)

Does God want His children to know they are His children? Does the Lord want believers to be guessing about their status before Him? Did the Reformation attempt to regain the doctrine of assurance?

Do you have to stop sinning in order to come to Christ? When you come to Christ, must you surrender all? Hear Pastor Mike explain what Jesus demands of His followers in Luke 14.

Pastor Mike talks about priorities in preaching and how you can effectively listen to sermons for knowing Christ.

Pastor Mike and guest Austin Hobbs discuss the biblical foundation and purpose of God's law, centering on Jesus’s outline of the two greatest commandments in Matthew 22: loving God fully and loving one's neighbor as oneself. Following a brief overview of fall high school and young adult ministry initiatives, they unpack how modern culture and modern evangelicalism distort the second commandment into a therapeutic push for self-esteem and self-love rather than an active calling to care for others with the same natural intensity with which people care for themselves. The discussion highlights Christ’s active obedience and perfect law-keeping as our substitute, reminding believers that full justification frees them from self-justification to genuinely love God and serve their neighbors.   Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/YzHyo-luiS8  No Compromise Radio “Always biblical, always provocative, always in that order.” Episode 76: “The Two Greatest Commandments" Hosts: Pastor Mike Abendroth (Pastor & Author) Special Guest: Austin Hobbs (Pastoral Assistant) Produced/Edited By: Marrio Escobar (Owner of D2L Productions)

This age old question is a good question. The answer is right in front of your nose.

The Lord Jesus is praying for you, dear Christian! How does He teach us to pray?

Pastor Mike addresses the Christian calling and responsibility to actively encourage one another. Drawing on personal reflections—including preparing to officiate his daughter's upcoming wedding and recounting stories of mentors who shaped his youth—he contrasts the natural tendency toward fault-finding with the compassionate model established by Jesus, the ultimate encourager. Grounding the message in scriptures from 1 Thessalonians, Hebrews, and Proverbs, the discussion illustrates how gracious speech, intentional fellowship, and congregational singing fortify believers facing personal trials.   Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/-R_X57uWkW4  No Compromise Radio “Always biblical, always provocative, always in that order.” Episode 75: “Build One Another" Hosts: Pastor Mike Abendroth (Pastor & Author) Produced/Edited By: Marrio Escobar (Owner of D2L Productions)
