Finding Grace on Your Journey
2026/09/20
There is a quiet honesty in how we approach the sacred today. If we look across any room, we see the broad span of where people stand. Some approach with cautious suspicion, while others believe “just in case,” hedging their bets against eternity. All the while keeping life firmly under their own control, grounded in caution rather than grace.
Others move to the opposite extreme: an over-belief, a performative faith that requires an audience, a broadcasted virtue that plays a role rather than roots a soul. And then, there are those rare, luminous souls who need no explanation. Their presence is a sanctuary; their words and deeds breathe a quiet truth that makes you feel blessed just to be near them. This is a reflection upon where one might be on their spiritual journey and how to find grace.God bless.Rev LeonPhilippians 1:21-30
The Secret of Grace
2026/09/13
There are those whom we must honestly acknowledge, set out intentionally to harm us. These may be people entirely unknown to us; they may be friends, co-workers, or even family members. There are no limits on where such harmful intentions can originate. We are all subject to being wronged. Regardless of the intention, harm is the result. And what are we to do with that? What is our recourse?
Often our human nature wants to get even and strike back in some fashion. Too often, that knee-jerk reaction is just fuel added to an avoidable fire. In that moment of sting and sorrow, we may not always realize that we have options. We do have options.God bless,Rev LeonGenesis 50:15-21
Our IOU of Love
2026/09/06
We live in a culture saturated with quick, provocative ideas. Browsing through the endless scroll of social media, you might come across a meme with a phrase like: “Saving money is doubting God.”
At first glance, it sounds radical, perhaps even deeply spiritual. But when we pause and examine the thinking behind it, a dangerous theology reveals itself, a theology of “blind faith.”We have a greater capacity than that. We are capable of far more than one would imagine and God is looking to us to become responsible for our outstanding IOUs of love. That is the path to healing the world.God bless,Rev LeonRomans 13:8-14
The Work of God is All Around Us
2026/08/30
How often in our lives have we passed an opportunity to serve God and not noticed? How many people passed a lost child without realizing it? Too often, we are not just passing one person but a much larger story? We are busy in our lives that we are passing many stories that we simply do not understand. In real terms, we are passing opportunities prepared by God.
In John chapter 5, Scripture tells us about a man who had been disabled for thirty-eight years. He lay beside the Pool of Bethesda, hoping for healing. When Jesus asked him if he wanted to be healed, the man’s answer revealed the loneliness of his condition:
“Sir, I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred.”Who do you have to help you in your life? Who in your life can you help? Where is your opportunity to be the hands, the voice and the heart of God? If each of us has the presence of God within, what will it take for us to be the expression of God in this world? The world needs your God expression right now. Please bring it.God bless,Rev Leon
Returning to Our Right Minds
2026/08/23
We are living in a moment in history marked by profound distraction. We look around at the anxieties of our world, the friction between communities, and the heavy weariness carried on so many faces, and we must ask ourselves: How did we get here?
We have forgotten something fundamental. As human beings, we have become so entirely consumed and tied to the physical dimension of our days. The daily grind, the worldly measures of status, the necessary cycles of survival have caused us to forget who we actually are. Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, the famous priest and philosopher, captured the reality that scripture repeats from Genesis to Revelation: We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience. What will it take to bring us back to our right minds? We will explore that here, today.God bless,Rev LeonRomans 12:1-8
One Mind in Christ

Psalm 133:1 — “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for kindred to live together in unity.”
Unity is one of the most beautiful gifts God gives us. It is not merely agreement. It is not simply getting along. It is spiritual alignment. That is a harmony of heart, mind, and purpose that reflects the very nature of God.There are moments in life when unity becomes visible and when hearts align so deeply that words become secondary. You can see it in families who support one another. You can see it in friendships that stand the test of time. You can see it in partners who share a common vision. You can see it in siblings who walk in harmony.Unity in spirit, when present, is when we open ourselves to become aware of the presence of God.Thank you, God.God bless,Rev LeonPsalm 133
Leaving Your Cave for the Sacred Path

You might wonder if you have been abandoned and left alone. In reality, you are in holy companyGod bless,Rev Leon1 Kings 19:9-18
The Miracle of Community
2026/08/02
Looking around our world today, and especially in the quiet corners of our own hearts, you will find a subtle, persistent fear. It is the fear that there is not enough. Not enough time. Not enough money. Not enough capacity. Not enough care to go around.
In the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 14, the disciples were gripped by this exact fear. They were standing in a desolate place, watching the sun set below the horizon. Surrounding them were thousands of hungry, tired people. And when the disciples looked at the situation, they did the math of isolation. They looked at five loaves of bread and two small fish, looked at the thousands of empty stomachs, and reached a logical conclusion born out of scarcity:
“Send the crowds away so they can go into the villages and buy food for themselves.”We are truly better than that. We have all that we need and more. The challenge for us is to discover how we can discover ourselves inside of the context of community so as to fulfill God’s vision for us all.God bless,Rev LeonMatthew 14:13-21
The Ledger of the Spirit
2026/07/26
Every single day, without fail, you and I make payments. I’m not just talking about tapping a card at the grocery store or paying mortgage bills. I’m talking about the deep, quiet economy of the human spirit. Every hour of attention you give, every emotional investment you make, every dollar you spend, and every grudge you hold is a transaction. To that end, what would your life ledger reflect regarding the payments you are making toward the Kingdom. Let’s review what your ledger reveals.God bless,Rev LeonMatthew 13:44-52
Beyond Performance: Living in Light and Hope
2026/07/19
We live in an age of magnificent communication. Every Sunday, across thousands of screens and pulpits, we hear moving, eloquent words that tug at our heartstrings. There are fabulous speakers who can deliver compelling presentations at a moment’s notice. We leave these encounters feeling emotionally stirred.
But we must ask ourselves a hard question: What makes that different from entertainment? Why is that not simply a performance at a local theater?God bless,Rev LeonPsalm 119:105-112
