Week 4 Upset Watch: Tennessee, Cal and Texas A&M
2026/09/24
Marc Atnipp and Scott Denson break down the Week 4 college football slate, with upset opportunities, big spreads and a few games they’d rather leave alone. The spotlight falls on Texas at Tennessee, Clemson at Cal, Texas A&M at LSU, Oklahoma at Georgia, and Oregon at USC. Picks and leans Cal +1.5: Marc and Scott like Cal to beat Clemson outright. Tennessee +4.5: Marc backs the Vols with Arch Manning facing a road test. Iowa +5.5 and the Under: The Hawkeyes are their live underdog at Michigan. Sam Houston State +35: Marc expects an improved Sam Houston team to keep it closer against Texas Tech. USC +3 and the over: Both like the Trojans and points in the Oregon–USC matchup. Georgia and the under: Their preferred angles against Oklahoma. Ole Miss–Florida: Scott takes Ole Miss; Marc favors Florida to win. Late-night picks: Scott likes Minnesota +9.5 and Boise State -6.5. Marc and Scott also expect New Mexico to win big against New Mexico State. Games to watch Can Texas A&M stay within the number at LSU? Is Louisville vulnerable to a letdown against Wake Forest? The hosts also weigh Northwestern +21 against Indiana, Illinois +26.5 against Ohio State, and a service academy teaser involving Army and Navy. Tune in for the reasoning behind the picks and the games that could shake up Week 4.

Week 2 Best Bets: Live Underdogs, Defensive Mismatches and Our First Championship Future
2026/09/09
The Crazy Sheet is back with a full review of Week 1 and our best bets for Week 2. We introduce a new weekly National Championship betting strategy, unload on the Big Ten officiating in Michigan–Western Michigan, examine Clemson’s continued decline and spotlight the players who made the biggest impressions during opening weekend. Then we break down the Week 2 betting board, featuring live underdogs, defensive mismatches and one potential offensive shootout. Weekly National Championship Betting Strategy We’re placing one $100 National Championship future every week during the regular season. The first ticket is officially in: Miami Hurricanes to win the National Championship at 9/1 odds. Week 1 Review The Big Ten officiating crew missed multiple potential face-mask penalties during Michigan’s controversial win over Western Michigan. Clemson continues to look nationally irrelevant compared with the program that dominated college football through 2019. The Tigers still lack offensive separation and difference-makers on defense. Miami’s offense exploded against Stanford, led by Malachi Toney’s school-record 263 receiving yards. Alabama receiver Ryan Williams remains one of the country’s most talented players, but multiple drops created legitimate ball-security concerns. Mississippi State quarterback Kamario Taylor delivered an impressive performance, although questions remain about the stability of the Bulldogs’ offensive line. Week 2 Betting Card Kansas +5.5 vs. MissouriKansas is our first live underdog of the week in a rivalry matchup that should remain competitive deep into the fourth quarter. Oklahoma -5.5 vs. MichiganWe’re backing Oklahoma’s superior defensive unit against a Michigan offense that struggled to create consistent production in Week 1. Oregon -22.5 vs. Oklahoma StateOregon has the offensive firepower and overall talent advantage to create separation and cover the large number. Illinois +5.5 vs. DukeIllinois has historically performed well in this role and should be capable of keeping this matchup within one score. Syracuse -3.5 vs. CalSyracuse is the preferred side at home. We’re pairing it with Over 56.5 as a correlated play built around the Orange controlling the game offensively. Memphis +8.5 vs. Boise StateMemphis has enough offensive ability to stay competitive and profiles as another live underdog capable of threatening an outright upset. South Alabama +9.5 vs. TulaneSouth Alabama is catching too many points in a matchup that should be more competitive than the spread suggests. Utah -12.5 vs. ArkansasUtah’s home-field advantage and consistent defensive identity make the Utes the preferred side against Arkansas. UAB -10 vs. ULMUAB owns the stronger overall roster and should control this matchup at the line of scrimmage. Texas State vs. UTSA Over 66.5Both offenses want to play with tempo and create explosive opportunities. This has the ingredients for one of the highest-scoring games on the Week 2 slate. Subscribe to The Crazy Sheet Podcast for weekly betting analysis, market movement, live underdogs, futures and our best college football plays. Odds discussed were available at the time of recording and may change. Please wager responsibly.
Week 1 Betting Preview
2026/09/03

This episode breaks down USC’s youth movement, why North Dakota State may be overvalued, growing concerns at TCU, and the coaching and roster advantages shaping the opening-week betting board. Week 1 plays: Georgia Tech -6.5 Illinois–UAB Under 54.5 Miami -24.5 USC–Fresno State Over 51.5 Houston -20.5 West Virginia -21 Miami (Ohio) +16.5 Oregon -24.5 Louisville–Ole Miss Under 55.5 Mississippi State -28.5 Central Michigan +10.5 Upset specials: San José State and Central Michigan moneylines Plus: Wisconsin–Notre Dame line movement, LSU–Clemson concerns, Alabama’s unanswered questions, and the underdogs that could shake up Week 1. Betting the SEC: Best Win Totals, Fades and Futures - Everybody’s Good Until the SEC Schedule Starts
2026/08/11
The Crazy Sheet Podcast — SEC Preview Show Summary The SEC remains college football’s deepest, most demanding conference—and this season, the pressure may be higher than ever. In this episode of The Crazy Sheet Podcast, Marc Atnipp and Scott Denson break down the SEC from top to bottom, examining new coaching hires, shrinking job security, brutal schedules, projected win totals, and the teams offering the best betting value. With major changes at programs including Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Ole Miss, and LSU, the guys debate which new coaches are prepared to win immediately and which programs may need several seasons to rebuild. The conversation moves into the conference’s biggest questions: Can Georgia take advantage of a favorable schedule and complete an undefeated regular season? Is Texas talented enough to survive a punishing late-season stretch? Can Alabama overcome roster turnover, quarterback uncertainty, and difficult road games? And could Oklahoma emerge as the SEC’s biggest dark horse—and one of the best futures bets on the board? Marc and Scott also explain why bettors should be careful with inflated win totals, particularly when several SEC contenders are being asked to win ten or more games. They identify Oklahoma’s over at seven and a half wins as one of the conference’s most attractive plays, discuss the uncertainty surrounding LSU, Texas A&M, Tennessee, and South Carolina, and evaluate the uphill battles facing Arkansas and Mississippi State. The episode concludes with playoff projections, coaching hot-seat predictions, and a debate over whether the SEC or Big Ten should be considered the strongest conference in the country. The guys expect the SEC to claim three or four College Football Playoff spots—but they do not necessarily agree on which teams will earn them.  Who wins the SEC? Who goes under their projected win total? Which coach could be gone by next fall? And is Oklahoma the long-shot team everyone is overlooking? Download the episode, leave a review, and follow The Crazy Sheet Podcast as the conference preview series continues. Shorter Podcast Platform Description The Crazy Sheet Podcast tackles the SEC’s coaching changes, hot seats, win totals, playoff contenders, betting traps, and best value plays. Marc and Scott debate Georgia’s undefeated potential, Alabama and Texas’ difficult schedules, Oklahoma’s dark-horse chances, Florida’s long-term direction, LSU’s immediate expectations, and which SEC coaches could be looking for work by next season. Plus, they reveal their conference championship predictions and estimate how many SEC teams will reach the College Football Playoff.

The Crazy Sheet Podcast — CFP Round 1 Show
2025/12/19
The bracket is here, the group chats are unhinged, and Round 1 of the CFP is basically a four-game stress test for your nerves, your bankroll discipline, and your ability to not overreact to the first busted coverage. Marc & Scotty break down the slate with the usual recipe: matchup edges, pace, red zone math, and the “what’s the cleanest way this game goes sideways?” conversation for every favorite. Locks & Leans We’re Watching Bama vs. OU — Total Under (and 1H Under) Marc and Scotty are together on this one: they like the full game Under, and they also like the 1st Half Under. Round 1 often starts tight and cautious—scripted drives, conservative play-calling, field position, and a whole lot of “don’t be the guy who gifts a touchdown.” If this turns into punts + long fields + red zone tightening, a slow first half is very live. Miami vs. Texas A&M — Miami as a Live Dog They also see Miami as a live dog against the Aggies. Not a “cute dog,” but the kind that can hang around and make this uncomfortable if Miami hits a couple explosives and keeps A&M from turning it into a trench-warfare game. If A&M sputters early or Miami’s speed shows up in space, the favorite can feel real pressure late. Chalk Takes (Favorites to Handle Business) JMU vs. Oregon — Chalk Holds Both think chalk will hold in JMU–Oregon. The read: Oregon’s overall talent and depth should show over four quarters, and if the favorite plays clean early, this one can turn into the kind of “slow squeeze” where the underdog is fighting uphill the whole second half. Tulane vs. Ole Miss — Chalk Holds Same stance in Tulane–Ole Miss: both expect the favorite to take care of business. The idea is less about disrespecting Tulane and more about acknowledging what usually wins in playoff-style games—line play, speed on the edges, and the ability to finish drives when the field shrinks. What We’re Debating Round 1 tempo: Who actually wants to play fast, and who’s going full “don’t lose it early” mode? Red zone reality: Playoff games are often decided by TDs vs. FGs more than highlight plays. Coaching decision tax: conservative punts, “settle for 3,” and the one 4th-and-2 that swings everything. Betting Card Summary (Early) Bama–OU: Full Game Under Bama–OU: 1H Under Miami +points (Live Dog vs A&M) Oregon to advance / chalk side leans Ole Miss to advance / chalk side leans Closing Thought Round 1 is where “built for this” gets real. Everybody’s confident until the first busted protection, the first tipped ball, and the first time the underdog starts believing. Buckle up. CFP season is here—and the board is about to get violent.
Army v Navy Betting Preview, Early Playoff Leans and How to Not Cheat on your wife
2025/12/12
This week on The Crazy Sheet Podcast, it’s Army–Navy season — aka America’s annual reminder that the forward pass was a mistake. We’re breaking down the 126th Army–Navy Game from M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore (Sat., Dec. 13 | 3:00 p.m. ET | CBS) and talking how this one usually gets decided: field position, missed assignments, and a fullback dive that somehow feels personal.  Then we zoom out to the early College Football Playoff leans: quick-hit takes on Alabama @ Oklahoma (Dec. 19), Miami @ Texas A&M, Tulane @ Ole Miss, and James Madison @ Oregon (Dec. 20) — plus what the bracket path looks like with Indiana, Ohio State, Georgia, and Texas Tech sitting on byes.  And yeah… we’ve gotta talk about it: WTF is Sherrone Moore doing? The Michigan situation went from “messy” to “holy hell” fast — fired by the university and now facing serious legal issues. We’ll keep it factual, talk fallout, and what it means for Michigan heading into bowl prep.
Championship Week Betting Preview
2025/12/03
It’s Championship Week, and the board is hotter than a message board after a bad targeting call. Marc & Scotty are back on The Crazy Sheet to break down every title tilt that matters—from the big-boy conference championships with playoff tickets on the line to the G5 showdowns that only degenerates and proud alumni are watching start to finish. They’re talking: Who’s playing for style points and who just needs to survive Live dogs that can blow up the College Football Playoff bracket Totals where one team’s defense didn’t bother to show up this season Letdown and revenge angles after last week’s rivalry carnage Expect arguments over power ratings, sharp vs. square sides, and which coaches you absolutely cannot trust with a lead in the fourth quarter. They’ll circle the best bets, sprinkle some moneyline mayhem, and outline exactly where the chaos can sneak in and ruin somebody’s dream season—and maybe make yours. It’s the last full Saturday buffet before bowl season: grab a drink, fire up the spreadsheets, and let’s go hunting for edges on Championship Weekend with The Crazy Sheet.
Week 13 College Football Betting Preview
2025/11/20
On this week’s Crazy Sheet – Week 13 episode, we’re stuffing the playoff chaos into one last regular-season weekend before the turducken coma kicks in. We’ve got Tennessee rolling into The Swamp to visit Florida in a night game that feels like equal parts rivalry and therapy session.  Missouri heads to Oklahoma trying to convince the committee they’re more than just “that team that ruined your parlay,” while USC @ Oregon looks like a track meet disguised as a football game. We’ll talk through Rutgers being a 4-touchdown+ chew toy for Ohio State, Samford picking up a check in College Station, and whether Arkansas @ Texas is a football game or just a three-hour message board argument with pads on. Then it’s BYU @ Cincinnati, Tennessee @ Florida, and a little late-night Washington @ UCLA for those of you who hate your sleep schedule. We’ll break down the new CFP Top 5, who’s truly alive, who’s CFP-bubble toast, and which coaches are about to have some very awkward December meetings. Plus: best bets, live-dog hunting, and our weekly segment, “This Line Can’t Be Right… Right?” Hit play, grab a drink, and let week 13 wash over you. Week 12 of The Crazy Sheet Podcast is basically “Everybody Panic” week.
2025/11/13
The board is loaded and the playoff picture is wobbling like a drunk field-goal kicker: we’re breaking down Texas marching into Athens to face Georgia, Oklahoma heading to Tuscaloosa to poke the Alabama bear, Notre Dame–Pitt in a sneaky elimination game, plus Ohio State–UCLA under the lights, Iowa at USC in the Coliseum, Texas Tech trying not to trip over UCF in Lubbock, and America’s new chaos agent South Florida rolling into Navy with CFP dreams. We’ll talk lines, live-dog alerts, and which top-10 team is about to get its playoff hopes folded like a cheap lawn chair. Expect bad beats therapy, SP+ and gut-feel fights, and a full autopsy on the latest CFP rankings shake-up—including how in the world South Florida crashed the party and why the committee keeps trolling fanbases weekly.Grab your card, your Tums, and your favorite underdog. It’s Week 12. Chaos is undefeated.

College Football Semifinal Betting Preview
2025/01/09
With only 4 teams left and 3 games to go, it's hard to believe we have finally reached the penultimate step to crowning a natty champ in our new tournament format.  With games over the next 5 days, plenty of betting opportunities are ahead.    Game 1. Penn State vs Notre Dame. Both of the Boys agree on the under 46Marc will also take the 1H under, and Scott has a lean-to Notre Dame.  Game 2 Ohio State vs Texas +5.5Ohio State looks to have finally found its stride, but I also think it may have overhauled its offense to create more explosive plays.  Tennessee and Oregon had no answers defensively.  Conversely, the OSU D has really stepped up their game.  The back 7 has played well in every game except the Oregon game.  Now it looks like the front 4 are buckled up.Texas has the talent to win this game, but we have not really seen this team rise to the occasion all season.  In their 3 toughest matchups, they went 1-2 ATS and SU.  Ewers has looked serviceable after being banged up in the last game of the season, but we have not seen him be able to take over a game.  For Texas to win this one, Ewers is going to have to take a huge step forward.  Sark has done a great job scripting the opening drives all season.  We should know early if Texas can stay within the number of 5.5.  We are Betting NO.OSU -5.5
