Our interview on tonight's show is with Charles Lemon. Charles does pipe repairs and restorations, and is the author of the new book, "Brigham Pipes, A Century Of Canadian Briar". It tells the story of the first 100 years of Brigham pipes, and includes an extensive shape chart with actual photos of the pipes. The book lays out not only the chronology of Canada’s most prominent pipe-maker but also never before compiled information on the pipes themselves, including the stamps, grading schemes and pinning patterns used between 1906 and 2006. In Pipe Parts, Brian talks to Jeremy Reeves, the head blender at Cornell & Diehl about growing, curing, fermenting, and aging tobacco.

Our interview on tonight's show is with Tyler Edwards from Levoy's Leathers. Tyler is a commercial truck driver from Amarillo, TX. When he is not driving, he follows his passion for making handmade leather goods. The leather pipe accessories include pipe cleaner holders, valet trays, and leather pipe socks. He also has wallets, drink coasters, and passport holders. They all look beautiful and are reasonably priced. At the top of the show, we will have a Pipes 101 segment to discuss long pipes which include three of Brian's favorite shapes.

JD is the Owner/Tobacconist at The Country Squire in Jackson, MS, and he is the former co-host of the now discontinued podcast, Country Squire Radio. Country Squire Radio ran for 10-years and is still one of the most popular pipe-niche podcasts. Brian and Jon David will be talking all things pipes and tobacco, and we will get an update on what's new at The Country Squire. At the top of the show, Brian will continue the tour of his pipe collection with seven Jodi Davis saddle bit pipes.

Our featured interview tonight is with Piping Artist Steph from the Steph & Skip Cain Show on YouTube. Steph is an artistic painter amongst other pursuits. She started smoking a pipe in 2017, smoking aromatics, like many of us pipe smokers. Then she discovered the joys of Latakia, also like many of us. Steph actually introduced her second husband, Skip, to pipe smoking and not the other way around as you might think. Their YouTube channel is six years old with 363 videos, and 1.4k subscribers. Pipe smokers are rare, and female pipe smokers are even more rare. You'll find Steph interesting, entertaining, and unique. At the top of the show, we will have an “Ask the Pipemaker” segment with Jeff Gracik.

Our featured interview tonight is with Truett Smith. Truett is the Pipe Manager for SmokingPipes.com, which includes buying pipes from large-scale manufacturers and individual artisans. He has been with SmokingPipes.com for five and a half years. He started in copywriting, then merchandising, and became the pipe manager / buyer in June 2023. Prior to working for SmokingPipes.com, he smoked pipes for several years, and was one of their customers. He's been smoking pipes for 12-years now. He also plays guitar, and enjoys a good game of chess. At the top of the show we will have a Pipes 101 segment discussing the differences between the Bulldog and Rhodesian shapes, and their variances.

Our featured interview tonight is with Jonni Adams. Jonni makes the J. Adams line of pipes. He is originally from Leeds in West Yorkshire, England, and moved to the US in 1997. His background is in electrical engineering, audio electronics, and he plays guitar. His first interest in pipes started when he was a boy when his father smoked a pipe. Jonni started making pipes during the 2020 lockdown. He likes doing fluted fans and almost automotive-themed engineered pipes, pokers and more. At the top of the show we will have an Ask the Tobacco Blender segment with Jeremy Reeves, and we will focus on Oriental tobaccos. Jeremy is the Head Blender at Cornell & Diehl, which is one of the most popular boutique pipe tobacco companies in the USA.

At the top of the show our segment will be about the most important pipe shape, in Brian's opinion, of course.

Our featured interview tonight is with Tim Garrity. Tim is the President of the Chicagoland Pipe Collectors Club and is one of a few show directors for the Chicago International Pipe & Tobacciana Show. The show is April 11-14 this year. He is talking to us on site from Arlington Pipe and Cigar's smoking lounge, which is a perfect setting for smoking a pipe while talking about pipes and tobacco. Tim will talk about his pipe journey, and provide the latest details on the Chicago pipe show. At the top of the show, Brian will give us a sum up of his own pipe journey, which coincides with his history of working in the business for nearly three decades. It's quite an interesting tale.

Our featured interview tonight is with Nick Masella, aka Nick the Producer Guy from the Get Piped Podcast, which recently surpassed 100 episodes. Nick is from Norfolk, VA. He served in the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets as a Company Commander and Training Officer, worked with Newport News Shipbuilding for four years, and is currently an Account Executive with Top Gear Tractor. Nick and his podcast partner Adam have been friends since high school, and Adam gave Nick his first pipe. At the top of the show we will start the tour of Brian's pipe collection as requested.

Our featured interview tonight is with Chuck Stanion. Chuck is quite well-known in the hobby as the Editor of Pipes and tobaccos Magazine for 21 years. They ceased publishing in 2019. Since then, he has been responsible for most of the writing about pipes, tobaccos, pipe makers, pipe culture and other areas related to the hobby in his Pipe Line column at SmokingPipes.com. Chuck was awarded Dr. of Pipes at the 2016 Chicago pipe show. Brian and Chuck will be talking about pipe smoking at Christmastime, amongst other things. At the top of the show we will have an Ask the Tobacco Blender segment with Jeremy Reeves. Jeremy is the Head Blender at Cornell & Diehl, which is one of the most popular boutique pipe tobacco companies in the USA.

Our featured interview tonight is with Pipe Artisan Jeff Gracik. Our regular listeners will know Jeff from our ongoing series, "Ask the Pipemaker". Jeff makes J. Alan Pipes and is an expert, artisan pipe maker for 20-years. He is involved in a new line of pipes that are exact replicas of hand-made artisan pipes. Jeff is working with two pipe makers in China, GH Zhang and Ping Zhan, who have set up CNC Manufacturing / Machining. With this they can replicate complicated hand designed pipes. They will be limited production, co-branded pipes that are licensed and authorized by the pipe makers. The pipe makers get a cut of each pipe sold, and reach a new audience that normally didn't have the budget for one of their hand made pipes. In Pipe Parts, Brian will review a tin of Sutliff Cringle Flake from 2020.

Our featured interview tonight is with Per George Jensen. Most pipe enthusiasts know Per as the longtime Mac Baren Tobacco Company spokesman. Earlier this year he made some changes in his life. He got married, moved to Germany and parted ways with Mac Baren, but not with the tobacco business. He is consulting with Sutliff Tobacco Co., and he created the popular and unique signature tobacco series, "Pipe Force". At the top of the show Brian will discuss his latest pipe acquisition, which is one of the last pipes made by late Japanese pipe artisan, Satou Smio, who died in July of this year.
