The Cost of Discipleship October 18, 2026 • RD McClenagan • Luke 14:25–33 This Sunday, RD teaches from Luke 14:25–33, exploring Jesus’ call to wholehearted discipleship, emphasizing that following Him requires placing our love and devotion to Christ above everything else. The Great Banquet October 11, 2026 • Greg Pinkner • Luke 14:1–24 This Sunday, Greg teaches from Luke 14:1-24, exploring Jesus’ teaching on humility and the invitation to enter the kingdom of God, emphasizing that salvation is a gift of grace rather than something we can earn through our own righteousness. Through the parable of the wedding feast, Jesus calls us to take the lowest place, following His own example of humility, sacrifice, and obedience, rather than seeking recognition or exalting ourselves. The parable of the great banquet reveals that God’s kingdom is not for those who believe they have earned their place through good works, but for those who recognize their sin, acknowledge their need for a Savior, and humbly receive His invitation. The Narrow Door October 4, 2026 • Greg Pinkner • Luke 13:22–30 This Sunday, Greg teaches from Luke 13:22-30. Jesus uses the parables of the mustard seed and leaven to show that God’s kingdom will grow beyond Israel and extend to people from every nation. He then warns His listeners to “strive to enter through the narrow door,” emphasizing that salvation is not earned through religious heritage, outward performance, or simply being around the things of God, but is received through God’s grace and mercy by those who genuinely seek Him. Jesus confronts the Pharisees’ focus on external cleanliness and reminds them that what matters is a heart that seeks the Lord, trusts the Holy Spirit, and produces a life shaped by that relationship. Through confession and repentance, believers acknowledge the truth about their sin and allow the Spirit to put those sinful parts of their lives to death, rather than excusing their actions or relying on good intentions. Ultimately, Jesus came to save those who recognize their need for a Savior, calling both unbelievers and believers to turn to Him continually and to live each day in the transforming power of the gospel. Our final episode features Abby Dias and Caleb Raby reflecting on what it means to follow Jesus through the valley. Suffering exposes what we trust, strips away our illusions of control, and forms us in ways comfort cannot. Yet the valley is not evidence that God has abandoned us. Jesus entered suffering Himself, meets us there, and uses even what we would never choose to make us more like Him. As we keep walking, asking, grieving, and trusting, we discover the deepest truth of God Has More: He is the more.

Vision Series: The Valley September 27, 2026 • RD McClenagan • Psalm 23:4 In the final week of the God Has More vision series, RD McClenagan turns to the valley of suffering, grief, and loss, reminding us that hardship is not separate from the Christian life but often the place where what we truly believe about God is revealed. Drawing from Psalm 23, he emphasizes that our hope in the valley is not found in understanding every “why,” but in the promise that God is with us, a truth ultimately demonstrated through Jesus, who entered into our suffering and bore the cross for us. Though suffering can expose our lack of control and challenge the things we have built our identity upon, God does not waste the valley, but can use it to refine us, deepen our dependence on Him, and make us more like Christ. Through Vince and Karen Johnson’s testimony of losing their son, we are shown how God can bring healing, purpose, and even beauty from places of profound brokenness. Ultimately, we are encouraged to keep walking when the valley comes, and trust that the God who restores and makes all things new is faithfully at work even when we cannot yet see what He is doing. Week Seven - Sacrificial Mission This week, Betsy Brooks and Kyle Landis join RD exploring what it looks like to live for the sake of others. Following Jesus is not meant to turn us inward or make us comfortable. As we grow in Christ, His love moves us outward toward the people and places He has put in front of us. Sacrificial mission is not about adding more to an already full life or earning God’s favor. It is the natural response to the grace we have already received, opening our hands, our time, our resources, and our lives to join God in His work of renewal.

Vision Series: Sacrificial Mission September 20, 2026 • RD McClenagan • John 20:21 This Sunday, RD McClenagan continues the vision series God Has More by focusing on sacrificial mission—the call to live not for ourselves, but for the sake of others. Throughout Scripture, God blesses and transforms His people in order to send them out, as seen in Abraham’s call to leave what was familiar and become a blessing to all nations. As followers of Jesus, we are called to live as ambassadors of His kingdom, bringing salt and light into the places God has already placed us through generosity, hospitality, evangelism, justice, mercy, work, and service. Rather than withdrawing from the world or simply blending into it, we are are invited to seek the flourishing of our communities and live with gospel intentionality in our neighborhoods, workplaces, churches, and relationships. Vision Series: Gospel Renewal September 13, 2026 • RD McClenagan • John 20:21 In this week of the God Has More vision series, RD McClenagan introduces Fellowship’s value of gospel renewal by challenging believers to see the gospel as far bigger than a one-time message that brings salvation—it is the truth and power that continually transforms every part of the Christian life. Using Paul’s confrontation of Peter in Galatians 2, RD shows how even mature believers can live out of step with the gospel when fear, approval, performance, or other idols become more real to them than their identity and acceptance in Christ. The fullness of the gospel reminds believers that in Christ they are justified, regenerated, sanctified, adopted, and continually being transformed by the Holy Spirit, giving them a secure foundation that does not depend on their behavior, circumstances, or the approval of others. Gospel renewal happens as Christians continually preach the gospel to themselves, behold Christ, confess and put sin to death, and intentionally apply gospel truth to the specific places in their lives where they are tempted to look elsewhere for security or worth. Prayer is more than asking God for an outcome; it is an invitation to know Him, depend on Him, and continually reorient our lives around His presence. A life of prayer requires both boldness and surrender, choosing to ask, seek, and knock even when desire is weak or answers do not come quickly. As we keep returning to God, prayer becomes less transactional and more relational, forming us through both answered and unanswered prayers as we learn to pursue Him for who He is.

Because everyone has beliefs about God that influence their lives, mature discipleship requires holding together sound doctrine, transformed affections, and faithful action rather than separating what we know from how we live. Drawing from Paul’s instruction to Timothy to watch both his life and doctrine closely, RD encourages believers to spend time prayerfully reflecting on God’s Word and depending on the Holy Spirit so that truth moves beyond information and becomes deeply rooted in the heart. True theological integration means allowing what we know to be true about God to shape our everyday responses while embracing the whole counsel of God rather than emphasizing only the parts of the Christian life we naturally gravitate toward. Ultimately, growing in theology should lead us toward greater humility, love for God and neighbor, the fruit of the Spirit, worship, and increasing Christlikeness as our lives become more consistent with the truths we profess.
