Izabella Kaminska, of The Blind Spot, faces questions from our correspondent who knows little to nothing about the world of finance. What's going on with money? Why are people freaking out? What's Bitcoin? Who was Brett Onwoods? Possibly the most requested episode of this current series The Cult Of Nick covered Bitcoin years ago and ever since we've had people asking us to do more on the topic. However, it's worth underlining that we never ever give financial advice (or indeed any advice) on this podcast, so don't expect that here. Instead we're looking at the bigger picture. Why is money so weird in the 2020s? What has happened to Bitcoin, since we first mentioned it on the podcast, and why? Go read The Blind spot here: https://mindtheblindspot.substack.com/ And follow our guest here: https://x.com/izakaminska

We kick off a new series with a chat, Richie Allen. He came to prominence in the shadow of David Icke with the TV station "The People's Voice". Moving on to do his own thing proved to be the right idea as he launched The Richie Allen Show and went on to attract and engage a bigger audience on his own terms. This conversation is open ended, we cover Richie's career and get into the nitty gritty regarding the curious nexus point between ideas outside the mainstream and then, the mainstream news covering those ideas as "news". Find his web presence here: https://richieallen.co.uk/ Do remember to subscribe to this podcast, we've got a reasonable legacy crowd but we're super welcoming to newbies.

Fun one chatting about John Lennon, recorded it during lockdown... You can get our guest's book here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Killed-John-Lennon-Lesley-Ann-Jones/dp/1789461405

Brent Lee has recently featured on the BBC as an "ex-conspiracist". He joins us on The Cult Of Nick to have a chat about how and why his world view flipped. -- Brent's excellent podcat can be found here:  Some Dare Call It Conspiracy (Spotify link): https://open.spotify.com/show/4RJCyh4FEiQhZasSe7jHYk?si=37c1c52db8984689 And his "sometimes I'm a bit of a dick" Twitter account is here: https://twitter.com/BrentLeeSDCIC -- Boom - we're back. Does anyone care? Lets find out as we crank up The C.O.N. for one last final series, maybe. -- It'll be a once a fortnight affair this time. We've got some stuff in the can which I'm going to use along with a few new bits we'll make along the way. I got sick during COVID, not of actual COVID but of the way the discussions were going. My answer to it all was the breatharian guy. Notice that didn't get a health warning!? Wow. He was telling people to stare into the sun and only eat fast food. I mean, enough said.

This piece is an interview with Brendon Dey of the Breatharian Institute of America, an organisation founded upon the teachings of Wiley Brooks. A man who became notable after being featured on television in America. A moment our guest Brendon Dey will never forget... This podcast is not to be considered as health advice; it's an interview with a fascinating man who represents his belief system with refreshing honesty. This piece is a real treat for Discordians looking for a fresh and unusual reality tunnel to try for a few days, without following any of the implied advice. In many ways this podcast is intended as a satire on the notion that podcasts should be ever be censored on the grounds that people may follow the advice on them. They shouldn't. Podcast listeners are not idiots, this medium is not - and never should be - the new "radio" or "broadcast" media. It's able to do that but it can do so much more... Check out our guest's instagram account: https://www.instagram.com/breatharianinstitute/ Their website is here: http://www.breatharian.com/breatharians/ The incredible music we use in the background is by the following artists, who flatter the Cult Of Nick by saying they are occasional listeners as well... Complexi-Tales: https://complexi-tales.bandcamp.com/ Mike Richmond: https://mikerichmond.bandcamp.com/ Crednes Codpiece: https://sound4good.bandcamp.com/track/saturnalia Our guest shares these final words: Hi Nick, I wanted to add a couple of details in case you or any of your listeners would care to know. Wiley also told me, as it related to the young women that he saw in the pornography industry, that he would have no interest in being on this planet with all of us at all, doing the things that he did, if he didn't get the joy of looking at these young women's bodies which he considered to be Perfect 🤣 ... And who can blame him? So even though he hadn't had an erection in at least 10 years, he was motivated by the energy of seeing young beautiful women, until the end of his time in the body, on Earth. I thought that I should add this so you could relate maybe on a deeper level, to his position. He made it very clear that he never masturbated, but used the energy that he felt from looking at the women, to produce the feelings of Love and Joy within his body. This is what he considered to be the ultimate highest calling of all humans: to produce Joy (hormones) in our bodies. Cheers! -- Hail Eris, All Hail Discordia!

This podcast sees us take a look at "non-crimes" and the chilling effect the British police are having as they go online and record social media posts which they've been told might be offensive or maybe upsetting. We get into the subject of transgenderism and the difficulties that arise when the long arm of the law is ready to correct your posts with a metaphorical red pen and the threat of more to come. Our guest - Sarah Phillimore - is a barrister (lawyer) and specialist in family law. She has been drawn into serious legal action after being harassed by the police and their sinister covert accusations of "non-crimes". 23 minutes after this piece was edited, as I was wondering if it was ok to release, this news story emerged: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/dec/01/children-who-want-puberty-blockers-must-understand-effects-high-court-rules "Children under the age of 16 considering gender reassignment are unlikely to be mature enough to give informed consent to be prescribed puberty-blocking drugs, the high court has ruled." History is a strange beast, perhaps "the right side of it" doesn't actually involve telling children there's something wrong with their bodies so it's time to pump them full of drugs? We will do a call in show on this topic - if you're a long term listener and want to come on follow me on Twitter and message me directly.
