John 4 - Too many people think church and Christianity is about religion.  Just like this woman.  Christianity is about a person - Jesus Christ.  It is about an eternal personal relationship.   It changes and affects every aspect of your life.  Please make sure you have a relationship with the person of Christ and not just religion.

John 03 - Born Again - 2026 1018 - Pastor Jimmy Cockburn

John 2 - God desires that each of us let Him transform our lives from ordinary to extraordinary.  He works on His schedule, not mine.  His goal is to use me to bring Him glory in all I do.

John 1 presents Jesus as the eternal, divine Son of God who entered human history as the Word made flesh. Jesus brings life and light to anyone who will receive His gift of eternal life. Believe in and follow Him this week.

John - John wants everyone to believe and know they have eternal life with God. God gave His life so that we could believe. If we genuinely believe, we become His children, and He helps us to act like Jesus in a dark world. We show the world grace, truth, and love because this world desperately needs all three.

Unchanging God - God's unchanging nature gives us confidence to follow and trust Him.  He provides a stable, solid foundation for my life.  The world around us is changing, but our God does not and has not changed.  He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

God's Wisdom – God's wisdom is not the ability to understand what God is doing in our lives. Following God's wisdom helps us stay connected to God and experience life as God intended. It allows us to make the best possible decision that honors God regardless of outcome or understanding. We must seek His wisdom, which is from above and not based on the things of this world.

God's Glory – God has designed everything to reflect His glory, including us. Our job is to reflect God and His principles in everything we do this week. We are serving and honoring Him this week, not ourselves. All you do this week is for God, not self.

God's Faithfulness – God is a faithful God. He models what faith looks like, and He teaches us what God expects from His children. You trusted Jesus by faith so continue to live your life focused on Jesus. Never quit, but finish your race and honor God by being faithful no matter what life throws at you,

Theology 10 - God's Presence -  2026 0816 Jimmy Cockburn

Number 21 - Look and live.  The message to Israel thousands of years ago is the same message Jesus offers to everyone today.  Don't make it more complicated than Jesus did.  Make sure you have placed your faith and trust in Him alone.  For those of you that have, live like you have a different destiny and purpose for life.  Point others to the cross with the way you live your life each day.

God's Mercy – God's mercy is a theme throughout the Bible. It cannot be earned or expected; it is a gift from a generous God. The God who showed us mercy expects His children to be people of mercy. This week, do your best to show kindness to people who have not earned it. That is one way that we show God to a lost world

Nahun 1 / 2 Thessalonians 1 = God’s wrath is not something we enjoy talking about.  We like to focus on the love of God, but the love of God is sourced in the wrath of God.  The wrath of God is a reminder that God hates, opposes, and cannot overlook sin.  The cross is a picture of the love of God and the wrath of God meeting.

Isaiah 40 – Psalm 139 = Majesty of God – Let it not be said of us this week that our God is too small. This Week, worship and focus on the majesty and greatness of your God. He can help guide and direct you this week if you will trust Him. The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
