Special Episode: It's MORE than BMX
2026/10/18
This week, the boys step away from the gate and into a story that reminds us BMX is about so much more than racing bikes.
They're joined by BMX dad Adam Wright, who, along with a group of dedicated BMX dads, is preparing to take on an incredible 200km ride from Ballarat BMX Club to Casey BMX Club. But this isn't just another long ride. They're riding to raise awareness and funds for the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute, Ballarat's community-funded cancer research facility.
With a fundraising goal of $20,000, the ride is about backing life-saving cancer research, supporting families impacted by cancer, and showing what can happen when the BMX community comes together behind a great cause.
The boys chat with Adam about how the ride came to life, the challenge facing the team as they tackle 200km on two wheels, what keeps them motivated, and how the wider BMX family can get involved and help make a difference.
This is one of those episodes that proves BMX isn't just about racing... sometimes it's about changing lives.
