Description

If CEOs have podcasts to give them advice, why don't their assistants? Assistants do all the work anyway. Your Office Mommy takes you along as she welcomes her latest bundle of joy into the Chief Executive Officer position. As her title suggests, her job is to take care of her CEO's every need. If that means spying, lying, and crying; she's there to do it. Some might think her methods are too invasive or she's too involved. But when it comes to taking care of the boss: mother knows best. If the CEO would just let her in, office mommy wouldn't have to pry the door open. [a weekly micro podcast]

Mommy Guilt Got You Trapped
2026/10/14
There’s no rest for the wicked. Apparently, there’s no restfor the morally ambiguous either. When Office Mommy tries to take an extended weekend, she quickly learns this simply doesn’t fit into the CEO Mr. Howard’s plans. The needs of a CEO are varied, expansive, and always. Unfortunately, unless they have a different Mommy clock in for shift, Office Mommy simply cannot take the time off. Some CEOs need less hands on time than others, getting bywith most of their day by day needs without any help. Like most adults do. Mr. Howard is exceptional in many ways. That is to say, he needs constant help on deck. His wife isn’t pulling any of her weight which means no time off forOffice Mommy. If tensions were high before this vacation, they’re not anylower after this “vacation”. No wonder Trisha developed an unhealthy obsession with Mr. Howard. Being needed twenty four hours a day can be intoxicating. Or rather it might require intoxication. Unrelated, is it pronounced Gif or Gif? Listen to the story from the beginning before diving inhere. Office Mommy Dearest tells a comedic fiction story with a plot and an eventual ending, which you won’t enjoy or understand if you start in the middle. Created by Jaide The Writer. Let Them Cry it Out
2026/10/07
Move fast and break things is supposed to a tech company’sguide to focus on fast rather than worrying about the risk. It’s not supposed to be about literally breaking all of the technology in the office. But in the office, the CEO is King. You try telling Mr. Howard that he’s not using any of the computer, printers, telephones, or freaking coffee makers correctly. That “user error” is an expression that applies to this situation very appropriately. Well, Office Mommy sure isn’t going to tell him that and riskending up on his bad side. The best thing for her to do is to leave work for a little while and give him time to miss her. Time to realize that he is the one making the mistakes. Because no one is more stubborn than a confidently wrong CEO. Andthe last person on earth who can tell them that is their Executive Assistant. No, Office Mommy is going to have to wait this one out. Atleast she knows where she stands and isn’t pursuing anuninterested man like poor ex-assistant Trisha. Mr. Howard doesn’t want you, Trisha! Go back to the men’s prison. Listen to the story from the beginning before diving inhere. Because I Said So
2026/09/30
This week is all about CEO appreciation. It’s true, some ofthe Office Mommy’s prior episodes may have you thinking that CEOs are worthless or bad at their job or just bad people. But some of them aren’t. The current “Mr. Howard” has started to put a lot of trustinto his Executive Assistant / Office Mommy. Her hard work and dedication is finally starting to pay off in some small way! If only she could capture more of his attention. But that darn wife of his won’t back off and let him do his job. So Office Mommy has to spend extra time working and approving things that used to be Mr. Howard’s responsibility. That poor man almost never seems to be working at his desk anymore thanks to his needy wife! Not to mention, his past executive assistant, Trisha, doesn’tknow when to cut her losses. Still desperately clinging to any form of contact she can have with him. Get your own boss, Trisha, Mr. Howard belongs to The Office Mommy. Created by Jaide The Writer. Co Parenting is a B**** and So is She
2026/09/23
The Office Mommy, your Executive Assistant guide, explains how powerless CEOs really are. They’ll never admit it, but maintaining their position of power requires a lot of kissing butt. Ninety percent of their job is making sure they still have a job. They have to prove themselves to someone and toeveryone else, they couldn’t care less about pleasing. The confusing hierarchy includes a completely separatereporting structure at home. The CEO’s wife is dependent on the income of the CEO and the CEO is dependent on his wife doing literally everything else for him. Which makes him more dependent on her than she is on him. This complicates the job of the Office Mommy. Competing for his attention and needing his signature on many documents, the Office Mommy is at the mercy of the whims of the CEO’s wife. A good Executive Assistant doesn’t let this get her down! In the end, the CEO will see why he needs the OfficeMommy most of all. The Office Mommy protects the job, the income that the CEO’s wife depends on. The key is making sure the CEO understands that. Created by Jaide The Writer. Let's Get [a] Physical
2026/09/16
This week, the Office Mommy spends the night at her boss,Mr. Howard’s house. But like any good executive assistant, she insists she’s completely professional. A surprise guest might just bring the whole thing crashing down around her. For a woman giving advice about being the best executive assistant there is, she sure does seem to make some rookie mistakes. Like getting a little too involved with her boss. Sleeping over, texting his ex, using his phone without his permission: some days the Office Mommy seems more like Mr. Howard’s volatile girlfriend than she does his assistant. If you’re an executive assistant still listening to this podcastfor advice, maybe you should reconsider your life’s choices. Created by Jaide The Writer. Limiting Screen Time on the Device of His Own Destruction
2026/09/09
The Office Mommy knows that your CEO isn’t as special as hethinks he is. He’s just like everyone else because he’s completely addicted to his phone. Which wouldn’t be so bad if that kept him permanently out of everyone’s hair. But a CEO’s job is “idea”. Not good idea. Not practicalidea. Just idea. Lots of idea all the time. Being glued to his phone guarantees that Mr. Howard’s going to have some wild ideas and impossible expectations of the real world. Especially if the thing in his phone is actually just his ex-executive assistant, Trisha. Because who knows what horrible thing she’s saying about the Office Mommy (his current executive assistant) to Mr. Howard? This week, the Office Mommy is forced to take drasticmeasures to prevent further interference. Created by Jaide The Writer. Sound editing by Huel Evans.Sound effects and artwork by Ryan Snyder. Ever seen a grown man cry… know how to stop him?
2026/09/02
The Office Mommy thought for sure she’d already seen hercurrent CEO, Mr. Howard’s, worst day, but that was nothing compared to this past week. You can tell a lot about what a man is going through from his actions. Throwinga stapler at your head, stomping around the office, literally shouting at his assistant for taking notes too loudly, and other subtle hints just like that let you know: he’s had a pretty poor day. So who to blame when a grown man behaves like a toddler? Usually, a woman. Any woman will do. In this case, the Office Mommy has someone very specific in mind. Mr. Howard’s ex-executive assistant sure has a way of ruining everyone’s day with her texts to the big boss. As Trisha becomes a growing problem, Office Mommy starts to see just how far out of her depth she might be with this particular Mr. Howard. Created by Jaide The Writer. Mom Meets Mommy
2026/08/26
The Office Mommy explains how CEOs praise and then discard people. She knows that a CEO is just a charismatic leader and they have no real interest in the people. But the Office Mommy doesn’t seem to think she’s one ofthe people. Maybe she isn’t. Afterall, the boss (alias - Mr. Howard) choseher to have lunch with his wife (alias – Mrs. Howard) while he was off wooing another CEO. Certainly a man wouldn’t brush his wife off on any old person, especially not on her own birthday. Ever the diligent executive assistant, Office Mommy use theopportunity to get to know more about Mr. Howard’s checkered past. Maybe it’s more chessy than checkered. Chess boards have checkered patterns but also havehorses, like Mr. Howard’s previous job in the Equestrian Training school. What all this has to do with being an executive assistant isunclear, but Office Mommy knows what she’s doing. It’s her advice podcast so you’d think she would tell us. Created by Jaide The Writer. All Work and No Play Dates
2026/08/19
CEOs are “working” men. Like most working “adults”, they have a difficult time making friends. Throw into the mix how unsufferable they are and it’s down near impossible. Executive Assistants are so busy being “Office Mommies” they don’t have the time to be “Office Buddies” as well. Let’s face it, even Mom needs a break sometimes. With Acquaintance Space: the Network Connect for Work Friends App, you can locate all working folks easily from the comfort of your own office. Maybe one of them will like your CEO. Is it just me or is the Office Mommy’s advice getting alittle… specific? Down right personal at this point? Hopefully she gets back on topic and back to giving that radical advice we all know and love and implement on a regular basis and stops talking about Trisha, whoever that is. Fed(up) is Best
2026/08/12
CEOs are people, and statistically, they are also men. It’sa fact that sucks, but it’s a fact. And a man’s gotta eat. Literally. A thing that they should know but for some reason they are still surprised by this every time meal time comes around. They struggle to know the difference betweenbeing angry and being hangry, and no one is going to call them out for it. Especially not their executive assistant, who’s main job isloyalty at all cost. So while his Office Mommy can’t tell him he’s being obnoxious because he’s starving, she does have to find a way to feed him. Like a toddler who must be coaxed with airplane noises, CEOs have to be convinced that, no, they aren’t too busy to eat. As much as they don’t seem it, they arestill humans. As long as Office Mommy is doing a great job taking care ofhim, there’s no reason for ANY CEO to go crawling back to the arms of his last ex-ecutive assistant. Mr. Howard is no exception and Trisha better watch her back. Created by Jaide The Writer. Art Work by Ryan Snyder. CEOs have many skills… probably. But those skills do notinclude technology. The cause of this : unclear. Though it could be the fact that technology is ever changing and growing and the last thing they bothered to learn was how to negotiate their wage. In addition to being their “Office Mommy”, as executiveassistant to the CEO, you are expected to be his personal IT as well. Might aswell get ahead of the issue and control of his devices before he can cause too much harm. The more you do for him, the more you can rest easy knowingyou are completely irreplaceable. Sleep Like a Baby; Wake Up Screaming
2026/07/29
CEOs don’t sleep like normal people. They want you tobelieve this is a good thing. But really, it just disrupts the entire world around them. When most people don’t get good rest, they can’t function well throughout the day. Since a CEO always has an entourage of helpers, functioningisn’t required. And if they get a little grumpy pants because they skipped their nap, no one is going to call them out for it. The hard part as an Office Mommy is that you need yoursleep. You don’t also get someone else to absorb the stress and work for you. The problem comes when your CEO expects you to wake up at four to answer their messagesor get them added to the waitlist for their favorite national park so they can take out their new RV that costs more monthly than your rent. Setting the boundary early is key and Office Mommy is here to show you how.   Created by Jaide The Writer. Art work by Ryan Snyder. What to Expect When You're Expecting a Fight
2026/07/22
CEOs are angry men, allowed to run rampant as the worldbends to their will. Only an Office Mommy can keep them at bay and even she can only do so much. Like your IBS, preventing angry flare-ups takes a lot of workbut is well worth it. This starts before your CEO ever arrives. Start by CEO proofing their office. This week, your Office Mommy tells you some steps you cantake to get things ready before the due date of your newest CEO. You never know when a CEO is going to hate harsh lighting, be repulsed by the scent of coffee, or stick a knife in a light socket. A good Office Mommy will be prepare for allof the possibilities. Being an Office Mommy may not be a financially rewarding job, but it’s also not an emotionally rewarding one. Make sure to keep your spending habits in line and your new boss at arm’s length. There’s no telling what could happen if he gets too close. Created by Jaide The Writer. Art by Ryan Snyder. Congrats. It's a... CEO
2026/07/15
What does a Chief Executive Officer do? The business is really none of their business so don't ask them, ask their executive assistant. The CEO isn't there to work, they're there to... Well the point is they have a very big boy job. And big boy jobs require talented assistants. Their work has to go beyond work. In fact, executive assistants do a lot less assisting and a lot more mothering. For the sake of avoiding any confusion, host of the podcast refers to herself as the Office Mommy. The Office Mommy is there to guide you on your journey through the go go world of being the assistant to a person who stumbles into the office each morning without a clear plan or thought in their mind. It's hard to follow someone who isn't really leading. But the Office Mommy is here to help you navigate the job! Some people think her methods are unusual, invasive, possibly illegal. But they get the job done! What the CEO does, she may never know. But she does know their favorite bagel, their preferred tee time, and their mother's birthday. Because the Office Mommy's job is far more complex than an episode description can explain. Created by Jaide The Writer.
