Lacey Richcreek: Faith, Joy, and Life with Cerebral Palsy
2026/10/01
In this episode of Cowboy Bible Truth, I sit down with 25-year-old Lacey Richcreek for an honest conversation about faith, joy, and life with cerebral palsy. Lacey shares what daily life really looks like—the challenges, the frustrations, the victories, and the role her faith plays through all of it.
This isn’t a story about pretending life is easy. It’s about finding meaning, purpose, and joy in the middle of a life that doesn’t always cooperate. We talk about disability, identity, faith, social media, and what Lacey wishes people understood about living with cerebral palsy.
It’s a conversation about seeing the person before the disability—and discovering that joy doesn’t require perfect circumstances.

Quiet! Be Still.
2026/09/28
What do you do when the storm around you feels louder than the faith inside you?
In Mark 4, the disciples found themselves in a boat with Jesus while a violent storm threatened to overwhelm them. They were afraid, confused, and wondering why Jesus seemed silent. Then He stood and spoke three simple words: “Quiet! Be still.”
In this episode of Cowboy Bible Truth, we look at what that moment teaches us about fear, faith, and trusting Jesus when life feels completely out of control. Sometimes the storm doesn’t mean God has left you. Sometimes the greatest peace comes from realizing who is in the boat with you.
If you’re walking through fear, uncertainty, unanswered prayer, or a season that feels bigger than you can handle, this conversation is for you.
And that…is Cowboy Bible Truth.
Am I a Burden to God?
2026/09/27
Have you ever wondered if God gets tired of hearing from you? Maybe you’ve prayed the same prayer over and over, carried the same hurt for years, or felt like your problems are just too much.
In this episode of Cowboy Bible Truth, we’re talking about a fear a lot of people carry quietly: “Am I a burden to God?” We’ll look at what Scripture actually says about bringing our worries, weakness, pain, and repeated prayers to Him—and why God doesn’t see you as an inconvenience.
If you’ve ever felt needy, exhausted, ashamed, or hesitant to come back to God one more time, this episode is for you.
You are not bothering Him. You are being invited to come closer.
I Believe...Help My Unbelief
2026/09/26
Can faith and doubt exist in the same heart? In Mark 9, a desperate father comes to Jesus carrying years of pain, disappointment, and one last bit of hope. His prayer is one of the most honest prayers in Scripture: “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
In today’s Cowboy Bible Truth devotional, we’re talking about what faith looks like when you still have questions, when you’re afraid to hope again, and when God hasn’t answered the way you expected. Maybe real faith isn’t pretending you never struggle. Maybe it’s bringing the struggle straight to Jesus and saying, “Lord, I believe—but I need You to help me with the part of me that doesn’t.”
And that…is Cowboy Bible Truth.
Revenge Is a Dish Best Served Cold...Or Is It?
2026/09/25
“Revenge is a dish best served cold.” We’ve all heard it. And when someone has hurt us deeply, revenge can feel justified—even satisfying. But does getting even actually heal anything?
In this episode, Sam looks at the difference between revenge and forgiveness, why our desire to settle the score can keep us chained to the very hurt we want to escape, and what Scripture actually says about justice. Forgiveness doesn’t mean what happened was okay, and it doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be consequences. It means we stop carrying a debt God never asked us to collect.
We’ll look at real-life examples, the words of Jesus, and Romans 12:19: “Do not take revenge… ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord.”
So maybe revenge isn’t a dish best served cold after all. Maybe freedom comes when we finally put the plate down.
And that…is Cowboy Bible Truth.
Are We Living in the Last Days
2026/09/18
Are we living in the last days?
It’s a question Christians have asked for generations, and with everything happening in the world today, it feels more relevant than ever. But instead of chasing headlines, fear, or wild predictions, this episode goes back to Scripture.
We’ll look at what Jesus said about the end times, what the Bible actually means by “the last days,” and why the real question may not be whether we can figure out the date—but whether we’re living like Christ could return.
From the timeline of Scripture to the signs Jesus told His followers to watch for, we’ll separate biblical truth from speculation and talk about what all of this should mean for the way we live right now.
Because whether Christ returns tomorrow or generations from now, one thing hasn’t changed: we’re called to stay awake, stay faithful, love people well, and live like the King could come home.
Brother, we’re a long way down the road of God’s story.
And that…is Cowboy Bible Truth.
How Do I Mend My Family
2026/09/11
What happens when a child’s past begins shaping the future of an entire family?
In this episode of Cowboy Bible Truth, I sit down with CJ, a licensed clinical social worker, to talk about children who come from troubled, painful, or unstable backgrounds—and what parents and families can do to begin rebuilding trust, connection, and hope.
CJ brings professional experience into a deeply important conversation about trauma, behavior, forgiveness, boundaries, reconciliation, and the difficult work of helping wounded children feel safe and loved again. We also look at these struggles through a biblical lens, asking what Scripture teaches us about grace, patience, restoration, accountability, and the kind of love that refuses to give up on a family.
This conversation isn’t about pretending the past didn’t happen. It’s about learning how healing can begin, how relationships can be rebuilt one step at a time, and how faith in Christ can give families hope even when things feel broken beyond repair.
If your family has experienced conflict, separation, trauma, or a strained relationship between parents and children, this is a conversation you won’t want to miss.

Am I Spiritually Healthy?
2026/09/07
You can look healthy on the outside and still be running on empty spiritually.
In this episode of Cowboy Bible Truth, we’re asking a simple but important question: Am I spiritually healthy? We’ll walk through five practical signs of spiritual health, using real-life examples of what healthy and unhealthy faith can look like in everyday life.
We’ll talk about your relationship with God, how you handle pressure, what happens when you fall short, how you treat other people, and whether your faith is actually shaping the way you live.
This isn’t about becoming more religious or trying harder to look like a “good Christian.” It’s about staying connected to Jesus, growing in truth, and learning how to recognize when your spiritual life needs attention.
If you’ve felt dry, distracted, discouraged, or just unsure where you stand with God, this conversation is for you.
Scripture. Real life. Practical faith.
That…is Cowboy Bible Truth.
Okay, I'm a New Christian. Now What?
2026/09/05
Becoming a Christian is one thing. Knowing what to do next is another.
A lot of people hear how to be saved, give their life to Jesus, and then feel like somebody just tossed them the keys and said, “Good luck.” So what happens after salvation? Where do you start? How do you read the Bible? How do you pray? What happens when you mess up? How do you actually grow?
In this episode of Cowboy Bible Truth, we talk through the first practical steps of the Christian life in simple, everyday language. We’ll look at Scripture, talk about prayer, Bible reading, baptism, church, questions, failure, growth, and what it really means to keep walking with Jesus one day at a time.
You do not have to know everything overnight. You just need to take the next step.
If you are a new Christian, or you know someone who is, this episode is for you.

Ezra and Sam: What Reconciliation Looks Like
2026/09/04
Some conversations are easy. Others carry years of history behind them.
In this episode of Cowboy Bible Truth, I sit down with my son Ezra for a deeply personal father-and-son conversation about faith, family, mistakes, distance, growth, and what happens when God keeps working on a relationship even through the hard seasons.
We talk honestly about where we’ve been, what we’ve learned, the things we might have done differently, and how our faith has shaped the men we are becoming. This isn’t a polished conversation about having everything figured out. It’s about real life, real relationships, and the grace of God that keeps meeting us right in the middle of it all.
If you’ve ever struggled with a relationship you deeply care about, wondered whether healing was still possible, or watched God use difficult seasons to change both people involved, I think this conversation will speak to you.
Sometimes restoration doesn’t happen all at once. Sometimes it begins with two people simply sitting down, telling the truth, and listening to each other.
Pull up a chair and join me and my son Ezra.

How to Know When God is Speaking
2026/09/03
You believed God was leading you in a certain direction—but now you’re second-guessing everything. Was it really God? Was it your own desire, fear, or the enemy trying to cloud a path God had already made clear?
In this episode, we’ll look at what Scripture teaches about recognizing God’s guidance, testing what we hear, and separating His truth from confusion. God’s voice will never contradict God’s Word. When doubt starts twisting what He has said, we don’t have to follow the confusion—we can return to the truth.
If you sincerely want to follow God, He has not left you defenseless or without direction. Open your Bible, quiet the noise, and let’s learn how to know when God is speaking.

Your Failure Cannot Cancel God's Promise
2026/09/02
Failure may knock you down, fill you with regret, and convince you that God is finished with you—but failure does not have the authority to cancel what God has promised. Peter denied Jesus. David fell into terrible sin. Abraham stumbled while waiting. Yet when they turned back to God, their failures were not the end of their stories.
In today’s message, we’ll talk about the difference between falling and staying down, why repentance opens the door to restoration, and how God can still use the broken places in your life. You may have failed, but God’s grace is greater—and His purpose for your life is not buried beneath your worst mistake. Pull up a chair, and let’s find some hope together.
How to Show Kindness in a Messy World
2026/09/01
King David's world had fallen apart. His own son had turned against him, his kingdom was divided, and David was forced to flee Jerusalem tired, hungry, and uncertain of what would happen next. That was when Barzillai stepped forward.
Barzillai was an eighty-year-old man who didn't seek recognition or position. He simply saw someone in need and used what he had to help. Later, when David offered to reward him with a place in the royal palace, Barzillai expected nothing in return.
In this episode, we'll discover what this often-overlooked story teaches us about showing kindness when life is complicated, people are hurting, and the world feels painfully messy.
Sometimes the greatest difference is made by an ordinary person who quietly decides, "I can help."
Based on 2 Samuel 17:27-29 and 2 Samuel 19:31-39

Don't Look Back: Jesus said, "Remember Lot's Wife."
2026/08/31
God mercifully led Lot's family out of Sodom with on clear command: Don't look back. But Lot's wife turned toward the life she had beencalled to leve behind.
Inthis short episode, we look at Genesis 19 and Jesus' warning in Luke 17:32. "Remember Lot's wife." What are you still looking back toward, and is it keeping you from following God forward?
Don't confuse what's familiar with what's safe. Keep your eyes on Jesus and keep moving forward.
When You're Afraid to Admit What You Believe
2026/08/30
Have you ever known exactly what you believed...but stayed quiet because you were afraid of what people might think?
Peter knew Jesus. He loved Jesus. He had walk with Him, watched the miracles, heard the teaching, and even promised he would never leave Him. But when the pressure came, fear took over.
Three times, Peter denied that he even knew Jesus, and Peter wept bitterly because of his decision. But then something happened that changed everything.
In this episode of Cowboy Bible Truth, we look at Peter's denial, the fear behind it, and one of those small details in Scripture that is easy to read right past, but changes the entire story when you see it.
