Decisions, Decisions, Decisions
2026/10/18
Every day, the average adult makes a staggering 35,000 decisions. From the moment your alarm rings to the time you lay your head down at night, you are continuously choosing what to wear, what to eat, how to respond to stress, and where to invest your energy. While many of these micro-choices feel insignificant, Scripture reveals a profound reality: every decision sets a direction, and every direction determines a destiny. In the opening chapter of the book of Ruth, we discover how the choices made during seasons of famine ripple far beyond our personal lives, shaping the spiritual trajectory of our children, our homes, and generations to come.
Ruth: A Case Study in Love
2026/10/11
The Book of Ruth serves as the Old Testament’s first vivid portrait of the gospel, illustrating how God’s relational love extends beyond human boundaries, persists through bitter choices, works through unseen providence, and provides complete redemption.

The More Excellent Way
2026/09/13
First Corinthians 13 is far more than a passage for weddings and funerals. Written to a church overflowing with spiritual gifts yet riddled with pride and division, it delivers a direct challenge: without love, even the greatest gifts amount to nothing. Paul makes clear that gifts are not a sign of God's approval or a measure of spiritual maturity. The world will not recognize followers of Christ by what they can do, but by how they love one another. Love is patient, kind, and enduring in ways that gifts simply are not. Gifts will fade, but love never fails. The more excellent way is not found in what we can perform, but in how consistently and genuinely we love the people around us.
A Love Story
2026/09/06
The story of Hosea and Gomer is one of the most raw and powerful love stories in all of Scripture. Gomer chased beauty, wealth, and the approval of others, only to end up broken, trapped, and alone. Hosea pursued her anyway, paying a costly price to bring her home, not because she deserved it, but simply because he loved her. This mirrors the way God pursues each of us. We are all Gomer. We chase lesser loves, we wander, and we run, yet God relentlessly pursues us with a love that is unconditional and transformational. Redemption does not erase our consequences, but it does mean we never walk through them alone. When we come home to God, we do not find condemnation waiting for us. We find restoration.
The Mic Drop Moment
2026/08/23
What is the greatest commandment? Jesus was asked hundreds of questions during His ministry, but after He answered this one, no one dared ask Him anything else. His answer was simple but staggering: love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself. In this message, we explore what Jesus actually meant, why these two commandments summarize the entire law of God, and what it looks like to live them out in real life. We also look at the context of when Jesus said this, during the final week before the cross, surrounded by religious leaders from two very different camps who both missed the point in very different ways. Topics covered include: The greatest commandment in Mark 12 and what it really demands The difference between the Sadducees and the Pharisees and why both extremes still show up in the church today Why the law of God is not about restriction but about love How loving God and loving your neighbor fulfills all 613 commandments of the Old Testament law Why outward obedience without inward love falls short of what God actually wants The role of the Holy Spirit in making genuine love possible Practical steps for identifying where obligation has replaced love in your daily life Whether you have heard this passage a hundred times or are encountering it for the first time, this message is designed to help you hear it with fresh ears. Familiarity can be dangerous when it keeps us from letting the Word of God actually land. Jesus said all. All your heart. All your mind. All your soul. All your strength. That leaves no room for rivals. If you have ever wondered why following the rules still feels empty, or why forgiveness feels more like a duty than a gift, this message speaks directly to that tension. The law defines love. And love is what makes the law livable. On our own, we cannot love God or others the way we should. But the Holy Spirit living within us changes everything.
Psalm 3
2026/08/16
Fear and doubt have a way of getting louder the longer we walk through life, but the enemy's greatest weapon is not power. It is deception. When the voices of fear, hopelessness, and abandonment grow overwhelming, the answer is not silence but a cry to God. David, Elijah, John the Baptist, and others all faced moments of deep fear despite their extraordinary faith. God met every one of them in their breaking point, and He will meet you in yours. Your words carry real authority. There are mountains in your life that will not move until you speak to them. The cross still stands, the tomb is still empty, and the God who answered the faithful throughout Scripture is the same God who hears your voice today.
Stay On The Path
2026/08/09
Luke 2:52 gives us a rare glimpse into 18 years of Jesus' life, and it reveals four areas where He grew: wisdom, stature, favor with people, and favor with God. Wisdom is not just knowing truth but knowing what to do with it, and it begins with a humble dependence on God. Growing in stature means becoming the person God designed you to be, regardless of your age or stage of life. Growing in favor with people means being approachable and genuine without compromising your faith. Growing in favor with God is not about perfection but about staying positioned on the path where He can find you. God found Zacchaeus, and He will find you too. The goal is not to have everything figured out. The goal is to keep moving toward Him.
The Watershed
2026/08/02
There is one question that changes everything: Who do you say Jesus is? It is not answered in a single dramatic moment but in the everyday walk of life, in how we respond when we are provoked, pressured, or when no one is watching. Peter declared Jesus as the Christ, yet moments later tried to redirect Him away from the cross, revealing that it is possible to say the right words while following the wrong version of Jesus. True discipleship requires denying self, taking up a cross, and following Him daily. Jesus warned that whoever tries to save his own life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for His sake will find it. The question is not just who you say He is with your mouth. It is who you say He is with your life.
I Can See Clearly Now

So You're Telling Me There's A Chance
2026/07/19
A desperate Gentile mother falls at the feet of Jesus, begging for her daughter's deliverance, and what follows is one of the most powerful displays of faith in all of Scripture. Jesus travels to Tyre and Sidon, Gentile territory, immediately after confronting the Pharisees about outward religion, making a bold statement that no one is beyond the reach of God. When Jesus seems to turn her away, she does not argue or demand. She humbly agrees with Him and simply asks for a crumb from the Master's table. Her reply stops Jesus in His tracks, and He declares that her daughter is healed because of the remarkable faith behind her words. The lesson is both simple and profound: whatever is in the loaf is also in the crumbs, and one crumb from the Master's table is enough for any need we bring to Him.
Then Came Jesus
2026/07/12
There is something deeply wrong with the human heart, and no amount of religious performance, achievement, or effort can fix it. In Mark 7, Jesus confronted the Pharisees not because they were irreligious, but because they had replaced genuine heart transformation with outward ritual. He made clear that defilement does not come from the outside in. It comes from within. Every person is born into a condition of spiritual need that only God can address. No career, relationship, status, or religious routine will satisfy what only Christ can meet. What every high priest attempted through ritual and preparation, Jesus accomplished completely on the cross. He who knew no sin became sin so that we might receive what we could never earn. Rest in what He has already done.
You Say You Want A Revolution
2026/07/05
Jesus is the greatest revolutionary the world has ever known, but His revolution looks nothing like what most people expect. When a massive, politically charged crowd gathered hoping He would lead a military uprising, He responded by giving them the Gospel. He is the Bread of Life, the only thing that can truly satisfy the deep hunger every person carries. We live in one of the most prosperous nations in history, yet we remain among the most dissatisfied people who have ever lived. No career, relationship, or political movement can fill what only Jesus can. The greatest revolution in history was not won through power or force. It was won on a cross, through a broken body and an empty tomb.
