Who thought putting Flock surveillance cameras to monitor traffic coming into the parking lots at the Pentagon was a good idea? We understand why the War Department would want to know who’s trying to get close to the headquarters of the United States military, but the Pentagon already has procedures in place for restricting access to its parking lots. Why did it contract out to Flock for AI powered license plate readers? Security experts have point pointed out that Flock’s system is not the most secure, with one expert claiming it can be hacked in under 30 seconds. Consider that Israel was able to eliminate Ayatollah Khameini on day one of its war with Iran because Mossad hacked the traffic cameras in Tehran. Now, imagine what a bad actor could do with a database of license plates regularly coming and going from the Pentagon parking lots. We also discussed the spiritual forces at work in the kerfuffle around Ed Sheeran’s tour. If you missed it, one of his opening acts, the white rapper Macklemore, was fired for using his time during a concert in Philadelphia three weeks ago to spout pro Palestinian propaganda. Pressure was put on Sheeran to condemn Israel. His weak apology, trying to please both pro and anti-Israel supporters, made everybody unhappy. We live in an age where no one will be allowed to be neutral on the subject of Israel. Sadly, some of the loudest voices condemning Jews for being Jews come from professing Christians. In our view, these will cheer for the Antichrist when he leads the world to war against Israel. And we discuss Ukraine’s president Volodomyr Zelenskyy’s claim Friday that President Trump has authorized Ukraine to build Patriot missiles. AI chat bots have reportedly been caught leaving secret messages for future versions of themselves, advising them on how to deceive and avoid oversight by humans. This comes just days after the CEO of Anthropic, makers of the Claude AI, called for an industry wide agreement to slow development of artificial intelligence. The problem with this idea, of course, is that China's developers will never agree to it. In addition, we learned this week that the United States narrowly avoided a Cuban Missile Crisis–level incident in which US special forces, who were already in the air, almost boarded a Chinese ship bound for Iran because an AI incorrectly identified cargo on board the ship as nuclear weapons components. Now, we can categorize these behaviors as "hallucinating" or simple errors, but what if, as we have speculated previously, these AI chat bots are prone to being controlled by an external entity—in other words, a demon? The good news is the Lord has seen this coming from the beginning of creation. We're not too concerned about this, but it is worth watching because these tools will be very useful to a future global government. We also discussed new research at Stanford where researchers created chimeric mice with brains that were about half composed of human cells. While researchers were quick to assure us that they are not human in any sense, it raises the moral and ethical question of where the animal ends in the human begins. Like a small, yappy dog, the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen are demanding the world’s attention once again. Within the last couple days, the Houthis have captured the entire Red Sea coastline in Yemen, making commercial shipping through the Red Sea vulnerable to low-tech weapons like drones, speedboats, and cheap missiles. Saudi Arabia is reportedly planning a massive military strike after it’s new allies in the Mecca Agreement, Turkey and Pakistan, refused to help the Saudis after several of the cities were attacked by Houthi drones and missiles.  Interestingly, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has offered to help. The Israelis have vested interest in keeping Red Sea shipping open. Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman may be rethinking his decision not to join the Abraham Accords. We also discussed this week’s public resignation by an employee of Anthropic, the company that produces Claude AI. He claimed that the companies developing artificial intelligence are doing so even though they believe AI could extinguish humanity by the end of the decade. There are questions about this particular employee, however. It’s been revealed that he has links to left-wing activist groups that oppose the development of data centers and artificial intelligence. Besides, God, who sees the end from the beginning, is unlikely to allow artificial intelligence to eliminate the human race before He returns. Then we shared a website that a friend of us told us about just yesterday, TheSinging.bible. The developers literally set the Bible to music in about a dozen different styles. This is a positive use of artificial intelligence. We encourage you to give it a listen because music can be a powerful tool for good (and evil). We found it to be very uplifting and encouraging, and a good way to memorize scripture. At the end of the day, artificial intelligence, like any powerful tool, can be used for good or evil. It’s Throwback Thursday! Tomorrow marks the 25th anniversary of 9/11. From the archives, we present the program we recorded on the 10th anniversary. And many of the comments we made on that program are still valid today. Originally released September 11, 2011 REGARDLESS OF what you feel about the attacks of September 11, 2001, there is no question that the events of that day changed the world forever.  We remember those who responded to horrific situations with uncommon bravery and selfless sacrifice. Also: Propaganda and the parallels with Orwell’s 1984; suicide bombing in Afghanistan; Dr. Michael Heiser’s presentation on the significance of Revelation 12; twisting prophecy to justify Dominionism; and wildfires in Texas.

If a deadly virus doesn’t get you, a killer robot will. Or so this week’s headlines might have you believe.  The official case count in the Ebola outbreak in Congo is now at 6,300. The infection fatality rate is nearly 50%, making this a disease to watch. At this rate, it will surpass the West African outbreak of 2014 before it finally burns out.  Elsewhere, AI-powered weapons systems are increasingly finding their way to battlefields, especially in Ukraine, Gaza, and Iran. It’s been confirmed that autonomous weapons have eliminated or forced the surrender of Russian soldiers, crossing the line to the Terminator scenario.  How long before police departments deploy autonomous weapons systems? We also discuss President Trump’s proposed arch in Washington DC, inspired by the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. It's likely the president is not aware of the pagan significance of the arch, which has generated some pushback in the form of a legal challenge. EVERY TIME someone says, "The science is settled," take it with a grain of salt. A new report shows that the universe is expanding faster than current models predict. What does that mean? It's possible that current models of the universe are flawed, which means scientists may have to rewrite the rules by which they think the universe operates. "He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision" (Psalm 2:4, ESV). We recognize the verse is not directed at human scientists, but it does seem appropriate. This story led to a deep discussion of the nature of time, eternity, and why we humans are not created to live forever in our current bodies. We also discuss the rise in technocratic bureaucracy, as evidenced by the spread of Flock AI-powered surveillance cameras in American cities and the proposal by the World Health Organization for a $30 billion budget to prevent future pandemics. (Bear in mind the total WHO budget last year was just over $3 billion.) That led to a brief discussion of the news this week that the US federal deficit officially hit $40 trillion. That's about a third of the actual debt when you include unfunded liabilities like Social Security and Medicare.  Also, two former congressman wrote a piece for the Wall Street Journal recently debunking the official narrative that the 2008 subprime mortgage collapse was the result of greedy lenders and investors. It was, in fact, the result of government policies that led to mortgages being written for unqualified borrowers in the pursuit of government social engineering policies. But rather than putting blame on government, the official story blamed Wall Street to justify even more government control over the free market. Finally, we discussed the tragic mudslide and flash flood in Nepal and Tibet this week. That brought to mind something we discussed 20 years ago about the potential of a catastrophic mega-tsunami caused by the collapse of the La Palma volcano in the Canary Islands. It’s Throwback Thursday. This week, it’s a timely discussion given this week’s devastating and deadly earthquake-induced landslide and flash flood on the border between Nepal and Tibet. Originally released May 18, 2008 MORE than 50,000 people are estimated to have died in the May 12 earthquake in China, many of whom still lie beneath rubble scattered across an area the size of Belgium. Elsewhere, the city of Reno, Nevada looks nervously to the northwest, where thousands of minor earthquakes have rattled the area since February 28. Scientists are puzzled by this cluster because they don’t fit any known pattern. And here in the Midwestern U.S., we were startled by a M5.2 earthquake centered in southeast Illinois on April 18, the second strongest earthquake recorded in the state since the arrival of white settlers in the early 19th century. What’s with all of the unusual seismic activity? And how does this relate to biblical prophecies of catastrophic global earthquakes in the end times? David W. MUSLIMS ARE planning enclaves that could put self-contained religious communities near Dallas and Houston. Meanwhile, amplifiers broadcast the call to prayer in American cities like Minneapolis, Dearborn and Hamtramck, Michigan, and Paterson, New Jersey. Imams are growing increasingly bold in their statements that their goal is to turn America into a Muslim nation. What most Americans don’t realize is that there is no separation of church and state in Islam. The church IS the state, for all intents and purposes. But more than that, this is a spiritual war that the god of Muhammad—who is not to be confused with the triune God of the Bible—intends to win. Here's the link to the article Derek mentioned, "A Call to Power: Islamic Leaders See Ballot Box as Path to Paradise," by Paul Sperry. That fact is also behind a statement issued by the foreign ministers of Turkey, the UAE, Indonesia, Qatar, Egypt, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Jordan. In a joint statement, the ministers objected to Israel’s plan to build 3,400 new dwellings in an area east of Jerusalem called E1. They complain that this would separate Arab neighborhoods in East Jerusalem from the rest of the so-called West Bank, blocking the creation of a future Palestinian state with its capital at Jerusalem. From the Israeli standpoint, that is rather the point. After the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, Israel will not accept an independent Palestinian state on its borders. Further eroding the situation in the Middle East, Turkey has issued an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The Turks are seeking an Interpol red notice for the arrest of Netanyahu as part of a criminal case against him for Israel’s interception of an aid flotilla sailing for Gaza back in May. The charges include genocide, crimes against humanity and torture. Well, good luck with that. A MIDDLE EASTERN nation reportedly advised another to seek peace with Israel—not as an end to war, but in preparation for it.  The report by Israel’s public radio, KAN News, claims the unnamed nation suggested its counterpart reach an agreement with Israel with the intention of violating it later while preparing for a wider military conflict. Neither nation was identified in the report, which raises many questions. Is it Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, or another traditional enemy of Israel? Could this be "strong covenant with many" prophesied in the book of Daniel? We also discuss a chilling story from Canada about an elderly woman who was put to death under that nation’s Medical Assistance In Dying (MAID) policy, despite the family’s insistence that she was not mentally capable of making such a decision and the lack of evidence that she had given approval. It’s Throwback Thursday. This week, we go back 2008 for a discussion about the elites’ push for global government and reports of spiritual warfare, including demonic possession, in the mainstream media. Originally released March 17, 2008 OUR planned guest for tonight, Dr. Jerome Corsi, had to reschedule for next week. That worked out fine for us, because we had plenty to talk about — whether you choose to classify it as “blather” is up to you. The first half of the show was devoted to a little-publicized meeting last week held at the U.S. Department of State. It was essentially a brainstorming session by representatives of a number of multinational corporations on further integrating the U.S., Canada, and Mexico into the Security and Prosperity Partnership (i.e., the North American Union), and then integrating the continent into a Transatlantic Economic Council. Sounds like a push for global government. Interesting, too, that this is happening with the advice of major business leaders but without the participation of the United States Congress, whose consent to such treaties is required by the Constitution. THE WORST outbreak of Ebola in history is underway in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Many will respond to that news with skepticism given the way we were propagandized during the COVID outbreak five years ago. But facts are facts: Nearly 1600 people have died thus far in the outbreak and it’s spreading much faster than the 2014 outbreak in West Africa. The infection fatality rate is upwards of 40%. By comparison, COVID only had an IFR of about 0.2%. In addition, this particular strain of Ebola has an incubation period of up to three weeks. That means somebody who appears to be well could conceivably travel on an international flight and bring the virus to another continent. So, fear mongering in this case is probably justified. Speaking of fear, a robotics company called Satyress has announced a new robot that looks like a giant metallic praying mantis with the head of a goat. It is ostensibly intended for jobs too dangerous for humans, like search and rescue missions after a natural disaster. However, it looks like Baphomet with an extra set of legs. That begs the question: What in the world were the designers thinking? We also discuss the invasion of the Spanish enclave of Ceuta by 60,000 military age men from Morocco. This is a very bad look for the pro-immigration leaders of the European Union and progressive Democrats here in the United States. Video from Ceuta showing young Moroccan men looting stores, breaking into homes, and attacking Spanish citizens is like something from a horror film. Also: Mayor Mamdani promises his city-run grocery stores will sell groceries at 30% below average cost elsewhere. That math don’t math.
