Dear Pergamum: The Church Who Compromised
2026/10/04
Dear Smyrna: The Church Who Held On
2026/09/28
Faithfulness is tested most when life gets difficult. This message takes us to the church in Smyrna and reminds us that following Christ does not always mean an easy road. There may be suffering, opposition, hardship, and moments when we feel like giving up. But our circumstances do not define our spiritual riches, and the cost of following Jesus is never greater than the hope we have in Him.  We’re encouraged to stay courageous, keep trusting, and hold firmly to our faith instead of giving in to fear, compromise, or the pressure around us. The promise is powerful: remain faithful, even through the trial, and look beyond what you’re facing today to the eternal hope that awaits. TRANSCRIPTDISCUSSION GUIDE
Dear Ephesus: The Church Who Was Right About Everything
2026/09/20
The church in Ephesus presents a striking picture of a congregation that appeared to have so much right: it worked hard, persevered through difficulty, rejected false teaching, and remained committed to sound doctrine. Yet in Revelation 2, Jesus identifies a serious problem beneath that outward faithfulness: they had abandoned their first love. The message of Ephesus challenges the church today to recognize that biblical truth, perseverance, discernment, and faithful service are essential, but they are not substitutes for genuine love for Christ. The story of Ephesus, from Paul's extensive ministry there in Acts to Jesus' words in Revelation, reminds believers that a church can be active, doctrinally careful, and outwardly successful while still needing to recover the love and devotion that first characterized its relationship with Christ. The Jesus We Forgot
2026/09/13
A careful look at Revelation 1 reveals how easily faith can stall out when Jesus is shrunk down to something comfortable. It is simple to fall into subtle assimilation, quietly mixing faith with everyday compromises or stacking worldly expectations onto him until he feels small and manageable. John's vision on Patmos completely shatters that scaled-down version of belief. The passage reveals the ruler of the universe standing right among the lampstands, holding the stars, with eyes like fire and a voice like rushing waters. He possesses enough awe and authority to bring someone to their knees, yet he reaches out to say, "Do not be afraid."  Holding both his absolute authority and his deep love serves as a reminder that he is the living one who holds the keys over death itself. Ultimately, the message challenges believers to stop settling for a watered-down faith and allow this grander vision of Christ to reignite the heart. TRANSCIPTDISCUSSION GUIDE
When God Brings Redemption
2026/09/06
Walking through the book of Ruth reveals how redemption means taking something from where it was and returning it to where it truly belongs, replacing grief and loss with a restored future. Pain often comes from tight expectations on how life or faith should look, leaving a person feeling crushed when the beat drops unexpectedly, but shifting focus from rigid outcomes to expectant trust in God's character changes everything. The legal, relational, and social redemption experienced by Ruth and Naomi serves as a small picture of the greater ultimate restoration promised at the final wedding feast, where every broken piece is made new and humanity is brought fully home. When Faith Takes A Risk
2026/08/30
The story of Ruth and Boaz is a powerful look at how a messy family history can be turned around into something beautiful. Ancestral lines can carry deep-seated cycles of dysfunction, like the story of Judah and Tamar in Genesis 38, where a patriarch avoided his duty to his widowed daughter-in-law, leading her to resort to desperate measures to secure her place in the family. When Ruth and Boaz meet, the opportunity arises to repeat those old habits of taking advantage or dodging responsibility. Instead, both choose total integrity, kindness, and covenantal faithfulness, breaking the toxic patterns of the past. Their choice brings dynamic redemption to Naomi, ensuring she no longer remains empty, and places their newly restored family line right at the heart of the genealogy of Jesus, showing that no lineage is too broken to be redeemed. When God Seems Hidden
2026/08/23
Even in seasons of life where everything feels uncertain or unseen, small steps of faith carry massive purpose. Every detail of life is held by God with care, and there is deep comfort in knowing that hope is quietly being woven into the bigger picture. Grace walks into the hard spaces, offering protection, dignity, and a place of refuge when feeling out of place. When looking closely, it becomes clear that God's love is actively working behind the scenes, providing exactly what is needed at just the right time. TRANSCRIPTDISCUSSION GUIDE
When Everything Falls Apart
2026/08/16
When life completely falls apart and grief knocks the wind out of you, the only real choice is to keep putting one foot in front of the other as an act of trust in God. The story of Ruth and Naomi shows how loss can leave you feeling totally empty, but choosing to stay together in the hard times keeps you moving forward. Fortitude gives you the courage to keep walking through the darkest valleys, while faithfulness determines how you choose to walk, by staying loyal to God and showing up for the people around you. Trusting that better days are ahead, even when you can't see them yet, is where real hope begins.   TRANSCRIPTDISCUSSION GUIDE Reference "Lament is a prayer in pain that leads to trust." — Mark Vroegop, "Dark Clouds, Deep Mercy"
When God Makes A Way
2026/08/09
Moving past doubt means stepping straight through life’s chaotic moments and into a place of rest and abundance. Those wild, unexpected miracles show up right when everything feels impossible, proving there is always a path forward through overwhelming messes and into a brighter future. Sharing real, raw stories about times of struggle and weakness, rather than just personal wins or polished advice, is what truly builds connection and passes genuine hope down to the next generation. When Grace Finds You
2026/08/03
Humanity rarely chooses its family of origin or the baggage attached to it, yet Jesus Christ deliberately selected His lineage, including Rahab, an outcast whose story is recorded in both Joshua and the genealogy in Matthew. When two spies entered Jericho, Rahab protected them and declared her trust in God's past miracles at the Red Sea as well as victories over Amorite kings Sihon and Og. Her choice to secure protection through a scarlet cord directly mirrors the imagery of Passover, bringing her into the ancestral line leading directly to King David and the Messiah to prove that divine grace meets people in their current state and welcomes them into a new family. When Faith Feels Impossible
2026/07/27
Standing on the edge of the impossible, true courage isn't built on self-reliance or sheer willpower, it is tied directly to a divine promise. When facing giant-sized obstacles and towering fears, real strength comes from gripping tightly to God's Word, while courage means taking a firm, immovable stance in his presence. True rest isn't a passive break or a temporary truce, it is a daily, soul-deep surrender that stops striving for self-perfection and steps fully into the peace of God. TRANSCRIPTDISCUSSION GUIDE
When Faith Stands Alone
2026/07/19
Regret often strikes in midair during that agonizing second after a leap when sight becomes clear, yet it is too late to turn back. At Kadesh Barnea, on the edge of the Promised Land, an entire nation stood on the brink of receiving ancient divine promises. However, ten spies allowed fear to dictate their perspective, erasing God's assurances with a single doubting word.   In contrast, Caleb and Joshua viewed those same giant obstacles through the lens of unwavering faith, recognizing that visible challenges can never overpower the divine presence. Although human choices carry real consequences, grace consistently offers forgiveness and redemption. Ultimately, the direction of life is determined by what comes after that defining turning point, whether building on fear or stepping forward in quiet obedience. TRANSCRIPTDISCUSSION GUIDE
The Way of Love: The Spirit Forms Christlike People
2026/07/13
DESCRIPTION Dive out of the safe, comfortable pool of shallow Spirituality, and step into the depths of living life in attunement with the Holy Spirit!   The Holy Spirit breaks hidden chains, brings people face-to-face with God, and transforms daily life into the way of love. Following Jesus isn't just about gathering information, it's about actively living out love every single day.  Stepping into this deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit means letting go of fear, unrepentant sin, and the quiet comfort of the status quo. It is an invitation to move past theological concepts and enter into a genuine, life changing relationship with Jesus that meets people right in the middle of their ordinary routines.  TRANSCIPTDISCUSSION GUIDE references "It's the Holy Spirit's job to convict, it is God's job to judge, and it is my job to love." - Billy Graham "The chief thing for all believers is the love of God, the love of souls, the love of others, and knowledge of the truth, and the Holy Spirit within you." - D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones
Redemptive Suffering: The Spirit Meets Us in Weakness
2026/07/06
Suffering is inevitable, but it does not have to lead to despair. There is a heavy, painful gap between promised goodness and current broken realities, a space where weariness often takes over.  True goodness is not the absence of pain, but the active presence of comfort inside of it. When the weight of life leaves you wordless, honest lament offers a pathway to radical hope. You are not left to navigate the wilderness alone; your heart is fully known, and those heavy, wordless groans are translated into powerful, active intercession. Pain is real, but it is ultimately reframed by the promise of future redemption and the comfort that Jesus kneels with the brokenhearted. TranscriptDiscussion Guide References"Lament is the practice of groaning with the Spirit in the midst of suffering—my own suffering or the suffering of another. It is most frequently encompassed in the repeated biblical phrase, 'How long, oh Lord?'" - Tyler Staton
Witness: The Spirit Sends the Church
2026/06/29
We all know how easy it is to stick to the shallow end of the pool where everything is comfortable and completely safe. But stepping into the deep unknown is exactly how we find the real strength and sacrificial love needed to meet the needs of those around us. TRANSCRIPTDISCUSSION GUIDE REFERENCES:"Everywhere I go I find that God's people lack something. They are hungry for something. Their Christian experience is not all that they had expected, and they often have recurring defeat in their lives. Christians today are hungry for spiritual fulfillment. The most desperate need of our nation today is that men and women who profess Jesus be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit." - Billy Graham   Three Swimming Lessons from, The Familiar Stranger, by Tyler Staton Spoken Love: Witnessing in boldness what Christ has done in our lives by brining our honest selves—our joy, struggles, fears, and failures—into everyday moments like work, parenting, and hanging out with friends. Supernatural Love: Witnessing in power through acts of compassion and healing, demonstrating that God reigns over a broken world.Sacrificial Love: Witnessing through the cross by consistently choosing humility over recognition, service over status, and forgiveness over revenge.
