Connor Brockhouse is one of the familiar faces at all TAC events. He is a full-time employee and one of the team members building ranges and bettering our experiences at TAC. He is a young archer who is super successful on DIY hunts. I have really liked his personality and mindset for archery and bowhunting, so I wanted to sit down and learn more about his background. This podcast is filled with lots of old stories and shenanigans that relate to how archery and hunting have got us on a better path in life. I discuss my disappointments in childhood decisions and how archery got me going in the right direction. He gives stories on where hunting started for him and his brother and how it led him to getting a red staff shirt working for Total Archery Challenge.

On podcast 366, we had an incredible conversation with longtime archery expert Chuck Cooley. The response to that first podcast was so amazing that I wanted to sit down again with Chuck to go even deeper into what we can do for better clarity with archery eyesight. Chuck opens my eyes to a new approach to peep sight sizing and front hunting sight sizing. This is a must-listen for any archer because, at some point, you will need this information just like I have.

In this podcast I go behind secret walls of Leupold HQ to get all the info on the newest rangefinder that solves a big problem with archery- (Hitting the mark at any elevation with the same sight tape!). I thoroughly enjoyed this talk because I get to ask the important questions to leupold VP Tim Lesser and Product Specialist Eric Overstreet who I have nicknamed "the range man". Tim has climbed the ranks from customer service specialists to a VP roll with vast product knowledge. He knows every detail of the product line past and present. Eric has the highest understanding of electronics and lasers and algorithms of anyone I know. Together these two can answer anything I throw at them. We dive deeper into understanding new technologies but also how to properly use existing technologies as well. Leupold opened the curtain to the nock on nation for this deep dive into why their products and ecosystem stand out. Trust me, they do!

This podcast talks about some tuning of bows and hunting off the ground with a bow with Evan Williams. Evan has been seriously affective taking whitetail and mule deer off the ground with decoys and bow. I dive into how he navigates terrain and the season to get big bucks on the ground. Evan is also a leading warranty/tech professional with a plethora of knowledge of compound bow set up and tuning.

Eric is an archery veteran with an amazing trajectory through our industry with a competitive career, retail tech expert and now leading GAS Bowstring's to the upper tier of archery accessories. Eric and I competed again each other many moons ago and fought every time we were peered together. Now we have both focused on growing archery in many different ways. We sat in the sun on a bluebird day to talk about the past present and future!

Projectiles & Parking Lots- Today's guest is Dr John Delony who is known for his best selling books and podcast focusing on mental health, relationships and emotional wellness. Aside from being a leading digital personality John is a passionate outdoorsman, nock nation member, and hunter with a history of field to table ethics. He deepening his journey into bowhunting and wild game cooking and I want to help. We have been friends awhile but had not yet did a podcast so I called him after a stopover in Nashville to talk about expanding his Archery Adventures.

In this podcast I sit down with Sean Degrey from Total Archery Challenge. We have a great discussion about the first event and give you some insight on how to be prepared for one if it is on your schedule. We also dive into some interesting conversations about Seans buck fever and some of his issues with being in the bowhunter moments. We also dive into some of the Q&A that people gave me during the Indiana event.

This podcast is with Bryce Pick & Cabe Johnson from Spot Hogg Archery.  We talk about the history of Spot Hogg and new innovations they have for 2026 including the introduction to the new PRIZ lens that can get you up to 30 yards more distance! For 2026 they debuted a new scope housing on some model sights called the ROTI. That stands for Reach Out & Touch It! The new housing allows for interchangeable pins from single to double and gives you the option to change the angle for a single pin. Most importantly the new ROTI also allows the use of the PRIZ distance lens and magnifying lenses as well. This is a great podcast deepening your knowledge on sights and a company who redefined durability in archery sights.

DROWN PROOF with Andy Stumpf - This podcast is with one of my best buddies and master of shenanigans Andy Stumpf. Today his new book DROWN PROOF comes out. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting insight on overcoming trials and tribulations. The book really hit home for me personally because Andy really exposes some of his mess ups in life and what lessons he took away from them. We have a fun sit down with many good laughs and stories from some adventures we have shared. Andy has a great podcast called Cleared Hot that has tremendous success. I hope you enjoy

This podcast is with Leupold President Bruce Pettet. I recently toured the Leupold facility and learned about the history behind this legacy company from our industry. I must say it was among the most impressive facilities I've ever seen. Bruce is a great leader and has put together an incredible team there that stands out. I wanted to sit down and pick his brain about hunting, leadership, legacy and what drives us as hunters. Bruce also talks about an incredible hunting challenge he has done called the McNab!

This podcast dives deep into some of your Q&A Request. I’m with a longtime friend Darin Cooper who’s a mastermind in compound bow designs and tuning. We jump into some awesome topics including bow set ups, release positions, sight pictures, mental improvements in leagues, grip positions for better accuracy and quiver preferences. This podcast is with Jerrod Lile who has been a longtime friend. He runs an amazing service that helps all hunters manage their hunting tags and draws very seamlessly. As the rules and regulations get harder to stay up to date with its critical that you navigate the system correctly The Huntin Fool platform is so simple and makes sure you don’t miss a draw date, get connected with a great place to hunt or get great information on taking your first hunt out west. We talk about several things you can do to be better on your western hunt but also discuss what you can expect from this great resource.

A MUST LISTEN PODCAST! This podcast should be mandatory for all archers regardless of where they are currently with their eyesight. Things will change inevitably with your vision and this talk with Chuck Cooley delivers great information on the stages of eyesight reduction, progression, repairs, sight clarity, downrange optic options, eyewear, clarification , variation, ect... You name it, Chuck explains it related to eyesight in the archery industry. Chuck is a highly successful licensed optician, professional archer, former gold medalist, leading lens provider for our sight industry for many years and last but not least a professional person. He dives deeper than I would have thought on this repetitive topic of the evolution of eyesight for marksmen.
