Speak Up
2026/10/17
We all have someone in our lives who needs to know the hope, love, and freedom found in Jesus. In this series, we’re challenging ourselves to identify our One, pray for our One, and believe God for what He can do in their life. Your One could be a friend, family member, coworker, neighbor, or anyone God has placed on your heart. You may not know what God will do through one invitation, one conversation, or one prayer but you can trust that He can use you to make a difference. Hosted on Acast. The Power Of One
2026/10/11
What if God isn’t asking you to build the church—but simply to bring people to Jesus? In this powerful message, Pastor Micaiah walks through Matthew 16 and the promise of Jesus: “I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” Jesus is the Builder. We are the Bringers. The church isn’t called to sit back and be afraid of the gates of darkness. We are called to advance with the love, truth, and freedom of Jesus. We’re called to bring hope to our families, neighborhoods, workplaces, and city. Through the story of Andrew, we see what it looks like to live as a Bringer. Andrew may not have written books or preached recorded sermons, but his greatest contribution was simple: he brought people to Jesus. He brought his brother Peter—and Peter would eventually see 3,000 people come to faith in one day. You never know what God has placed inside the person you bring. As Southridge steps into this season of building, the reminder is clear: God will take care of the Great Construction. Our responsibility is the Great Commission. So, who is your one? Who is the person God has placed on your heart to bring closer to Jesus? Don’t come alone. Bring someone with you. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
House Rules
2026/09/27
What happens in your home matters. In the final message of our Home Field Advantage series, we look at Joshua 24:15 and the powerful declaration: “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” We may not be able to control the culture around us, but we can choose the culture we create inside our homes. The values we celebrate, the things we tolerate, the way we treat one another, and the faith we model all shape the next generation. The goal isn't to raise perfect kids. It's to build homes where Jesus is known, faith is lived out, and God's goodness is remembered from generation to generation. “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15 Hosted on Acast. A Parents Prayer
2026/09/20
What are we forming in the next generation? In Judges 13, Manoah asks God a simple but powerful question: “Teach us what we shall do for the child who will be born.” In this message, Pastor Micaiah challenges parents, grandparents, mentors, and anyone who has influence over the next generation to stop simply hoping they'll “figure it out” and start intentionally forming them. We don't just raise children—we raise them to be released into a future we cannot see. Pastor Micaiah shares practical ways we can form the next generation: • Protect what makes them distinct • Teach them discipline • Give them discernment • Involve them in the work • Instruct them in the Word • Imprint on them how to worship And through the story of Samson—and a powerful personal story— we're reminded that the last chapter isn't necessarily the final chapter. Your story isn't over. Their story isn't over. And God is still working. 📖 Scripture: Judges 13, Proverbs 22:6, Psalm 127, Hebrews 11:32 Watch the full message and ask yourself: God, what are You teaching me so I can teach them? Hosted on Acast. Raising a Remnant
2026/09/13
What does it look like to raise a generation that will stand for Jesus, even when we aren't standing beside them? In Part 2 of our Home Field Advantage series, Pastor Micaiah takes us to Daniel 1 and challenges parents, grandparents, students, and the Church to recognize the responsibility we have to intentionally disciple the next generation. Daniel was taken into Babylon, surrounded by a culture that wanted to change what he served, what he thought, and who he was. But Daniel had already been formed before he ever entered Babylon. The same is true for our families. We may not be able to predict everything our children will face, but we can build a foundation that prepares them to stand when we're no longer standing beside them. We are called to raise a remnant before culture raises a replacement. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
The Parental Advantage
2026/09/06
What if your home is one of the greatest advantages God has given you? In this message, Pastor Micaiah kicks off our new series, Home Field Advantage, with a powerful challenge for parents, families, and anyone who wants to build a home centered on Jesus. Using the story of Jacob in Genesis 32, we’re reminded that we may not be able to control who our children become, but we can choose what kind of parents we become. Our homes have influence—and we have the opportunity to intentionally build a foundation of faith, prayer, biblical truth, boundaries, and family. Pastor Micaiah challenges us to stop giving away the influence God has entrusted to us and to recognize that parenting is deeply spiritual. When we're less intentional, we're less influential. And sometimes loving our family means more than comforting them—it means being willing to correct, shape, and guide them. The story of Jacob also reveals what happens when we stop trying to control everything and learn to cling to God. Jacob entered the night wrestling, but he came out changed. His greatest victory wasn't gaining more control—it was learning to depend on God. Whether you're a parent, grandparent, single, married, or simply part of a family, this message is a reminder that your faith can make it past the front door. Key Scriptures: Genesis 32:22–30; Proverbs 22:6; Romans 8:28–29 Watch the full message and discover how you can build a home where faith isn't just something you talk about at church—it becomes the foundation of everyday life. More Than A Miracle - Micah Rose
2026/09/05
What if God never performed another miracle for you—would He still be worth following? In this message, Micah challenges us to look beyond what God can do and discover who God is. Through the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000, the healing of the man born blind, and personal stories of God's supernatural power, we are reminded that miracles are never meant to be the destination. They are signposts pointing us toward Jesus. It's easy to become more fascinated by God's blessings than by God Himself. We can pray passionately when we're desperate, only to lose that same hunger when the breakthrough comes. But spiritual maturity isn't measured by how much we receive from God—it's revealed by how much we long for God Himself. Micah shares three truths about God's signs: Signs point to Jesus. Signs lead us to worship. Signs reveal the Father's heart. The greatest gift God can give us isn't healing, provision, breakthrough, or success. The greatest gift God can give us is Himself. Don't set up camp at the miracle. Don't stop at the signpost. Keep moving toward Jesus. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Out Of Order
2026/08/17
In this message from our series The Blessed Life, Pastor Micaiah unpacks Psalm 1 and reveals that a blessed life isn’t simply about what we obtain. It’s about getting our lives into the order God designed. God is a God of order. When we put Him first, get planted, stay connected to the Source, and allow Him to shape our lives, we position ourselves to experience the fruit and purpose He has for us. You were never meant to just be potted, you were meant to be planted. Being planted means going deeper. It means moving from simply attending church to belonging, serving, building relationships, taking responsibility, and becoming who God created you to be. “Fix the flow, and God fixes the fruit.” No matter what season you are in, God can make you fruitful. When the storm comes, you can still stand when your roots are deep and your life is connected to the Source. This week, ask yourself: What is out of order in my life? Am I planted or just potted? Am I connected to the Source? What is my next step? Get the order right and let God handle the outcome. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
The Blessings Didn't Burn
2026/08/17
In this message from our series The Blessed Life, we look at the story of David in 1 Samuel 30. David returns to Ziklag only to find that everything he had built has been burned and his family has been taken captive. By every outward appearance, it looks like everything is lost. But the fire wasn't the end of David's story. David had been running, avoiding, and holding onto things that God never called him to hold onto. Yet when everything around him fell apart, David did something different: he strengthened himself in the Lord and sought God. This message challenges us to consider what we're holding onto, where we're finding our strength, and whether we're willing to surrender the things that may be keeping us from what God has next. The fire didn't destroy David's destiny. It destroyed what was distracting him from it. Maybe there's a "Ziklag" in your life that God is asking you to release. Maybe you're walking through a fire and wondering what God is doing. Either way, this message reminds us that when everything becomes uncertain, God remains certain. If this message encouraged you, share it with someone who may need this reminder today. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Blessed Are
2026/08/09
In week two of The Blessed Life series, we dive into Jesus’ famous Sermon on the Mount and explore the first three Beatitudes found in Matthew 5:1-5. While the world often defines blessing through success, comfort, and status, Jesus completely redefines what it means to be blessed. Jesus begins His teaching not with a list of things to accomplish, but with a declaration of what is true: “Blessed are…” The Beatitudes are not a checklist we use to earn God’s love—they are the evidence of a heart that has already been transformed by Him. In this message, we explore: What it means to be “poor in spirit” and recognize our complete dependence on God Why mourning over our sin and a broken world leads us to true comfort through the Holy Spirit How biblical meekness is not weakness, but strength surrendered to God Why the greatest blessing is not what God gives us, but being found and saved in Him The blessed life is not a life without hardship. It is a life where the King Himself is our portion. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Blessed Even There
2026/08/03
What does it really mean to live a blessed life? In the first message of our new series, The Blessed Life, Pastor Micaiah challenges the common idea that God's blessing is measured by comfort, success, or possessions. Through Psalm 139, we're reminded that true blessing isn't found in perfect circumstances—it's found in God's presence. Whether you're on the mountaintop or walking through one of life's hardest seasons, God is an "even there" God. He isn't surprised by your struggles, scared of your circumstances, or absent from your pain. The blessed life is discovered when we stop chasing blessings and start pursuing the One who blesses. If you're wondering where God is in the middle of your "there," this message is a powerful reminder that He is with you, leading you, holding you, and working through every season Hosted on Acast. Half Isn't Holy
2026/07/30
In the final message of our The Temple series, Pastor Micaiah challenges one of the biggest misconceptions in modern Christianity: that God is satisfied with "some" of us. Looking at Jesus' words in Matthew 22:37-40, we discover that the greatest commandment isn't to love God a little more—it's to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. God isn't interested in improving one area of your life while you keep the rest for yourself. He wants complete surrender because He gave everything for you. In this message you'll discover: Why "some" obedience is still incomplete obedience The difference between giving God more and giving Him all How we've compartmentalized our faith instead of living fully devoted to Christ Why true transformation only happens through complete surrender What it looks like to become the holy temple God created you to be Jesus didn't give us part of Himself on the cross—He gave all. Our response should be no different. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Do You Want to Be Healed Sermon
2026/07/21
Are you waiting on a change in your circumstances, or are you ready for a change in your life? In this powerful message, we unpack the familiar story of the paralyzed man at the Pool of Bethesda (John 5). For 38 years, this man sat by the water, trapped in a cycle of disappointment, excuses, and a victim mentality. When Jesus asks him a simple yes-or-no question—“Do you want to be made well?”—the man responds not with faith, but with a list of reasons why he can't make it. It’s time to stop waiting on the water. Too many of us are asking God to fix our symptoms while we fight to protect the very systems causing our hurt. We rely on our past trauma, our excuses, and our labels as a "cheat code" to avoid personal accountability, turning our reasons into our permanent residence. But Jesus didn’t come to validate your excuses; He came to transform your identity. When He says, "Rise, take up your bed, and walk," He is commanding you to leave your past behind, carry away the things you used to rely on, and step into a completely new lifestyle. Healed people don’t stay in broken places. Watch this message and discover how to stop waiting on a method, drop the excuses, and encounter the Master. Key Scripture: John 5:1–15 Key Takeaways: The danger of letting your reasons become your residence. Why we settle for treating symptoms instead of changing the system. Why Jesus commands us to pick up our "mat" so we have nothing to go back to. Shifting from speaking only in facts to walking by faith. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
The Mind Matters to God
2026/07/06
Can Jesus heal depression and mental health struggles? Mental health is one of the biggest challenges facing our world today, but what does the Bible actually say about anxiety, depression, healing, and hope? In this message from our The Temple series, Pastor Micaiah walks through Mark 5 and the story of the demon-possessed man to explore how Jesus brings healing, restoration, and true rest. While acknowledging the realities of counseling, medical care, and mental health treatment, this message challenges us to remember that lasting hope is ultimately found in Christ. You'll discover: Why your diagnosis is not your identity The difference between treatment and true healing What it means to have a "sound mind" Why Jesus offers rest for your soul—not just your body How God desires to bring wholeness to your mind, body, soul, and spirit No matter what you're facing today, there is hope in Jesus. 📖 Scripture: Mark 5:1–20 If this message encouraged you, don't forget to Like, Subscribe, and Share it with someone who needs hope today.
