What happens when God places a dream in your heart, but the road to seeing it fulfilled looks nothing like you expected? As Praise Assembly celebrated 41 years of ministry, we welcomed Rev. Steve DeFrain, Assistant Superintendent of the PennDel District, as our guest speaker. Drawing from the life of Joseph, Rev. DeFrain shared an encouraging message about dreams that are given, tested, delayed, and ultimately fulfilled through the faithfulness of God. It was a fitting reminder on a special anniversary Sunday that God can do far more with a surrendered dream than we could ever imagine.

How quickly can a misunderstanding turn into something much bigger than it ever needed to be? In the final message of our Joshua series, Pastor Hans looks at a conflict that nearly led an entire nation to war. What changed the outcome was not winning an argument, but choosing clarity, humility, honest conversation, and a willingness to listen before assumptions took over. It is a practical reminder that the way we handle hurt, offense, and misunderstanding can either build walls or bring healing.

Have your prayers become too safe, too predictable, or too easy to accomplish without God? Pastor Hans continues through Joshua with one of the most extraordinary prayers in Scripture and a challenge to believe God for things that seem far beyond what we could ever accomplish on our own. Faith-filled prayer is not about presumption, but trusting God's power, seeking His will, and giving Him the glory when He moves. What is the outrageous prayer in your life?

Have you ever made a decision you knew you should have handled differently and wondered what happens next? Pastor Bailey continues our journey through Joshua with a message about seeking God before major decisions, the danger of trusting what looks right on the surface, and the hope we still have when we get it wrong. Joshua 9 reminds us that our mistakes do not have to be the end of the story. God can still work through bad decisions, and He does not abandon us in the middle of them.

Congratulations to all of our Royal Rangers receiving awards and recognition this year!

What happens when we know what God has said, but choose something else anyway? Continuing through Joshua, Pastor Hans looks at the sobering story of Achan and how a hidden choice can reach far beyond the person who made it. But the message does not end with judgment. It points us toward confession, repentance, and the hope we have in Jesus.

Have you ever read something in the Bible that made you stop and wonder, “God, why would You do that?” Pastor Hans continues our journey through Joshua by tackling one of the harder questions Christians sometimes wrestle with. How do we reconcile the goodness of God with passages that are difficult to understand? Rather than avoiding the tension, this message takes a closer look at what Scripture reveals about God's character, justice, mercy, and our own posture toward Him.

What happens when the Church steps into places where both practical needs and spiritual hope are desperately needed? This Sunday, we welcomed guest speaker Eric Hoffman of WorldServe International. Eric is passionate about mobilizing the Church to help bring clean water and the hope of Jesus to communities across Africa. WorldServe International is this year's Speed the Light project, giving our young people an opportunity to take part in missions in a tangible way. We also had the joy of celebrating a special baby dedication during the service. Learn more about WorldServe International: www.worldserveintl.org

Waiting can be frustrating, especially when you have prayed, obeyed, and still cannot see anything changing. But what if God is already working beyond what you can see? Pastor Hans continues through the book of Joshua with an encouraging message about trusting God through uncertainty, carrying the weight of delay, and remembering that His promises remain sure even when the answer has not yet arrived.

Every family has a story. Some stories bring joy, while others carry hurt, brokenness, and patterns that seem impossible to escape. But what if one decision of faith could begin changing the direction of a family for generations to come? Pastor Hans continues our journey through Joshua by looking at the remarkable story of Rahab and the lasting impact of God's saving grace. This message is a powerful reminder that God specializes in writing new stories and building new legacies.

Making a commitment is easy. Keeping it when life gets difficult is something else entirely. Pastor Hans continues our study through Joshua by exploring why our words matter, how faithfulness shapes our witness, and what it looks like to become someone others can truly depend on. In a world where commitments are often treated as optional, this message challenges us to live differently and points us to the God whose promises never fail.
