The Blessing of Children | Children Are a Blessing, Not an Idol
2026/10/25
How do you raise children who love Jesus, keep God first, and build a lasting legacy of faith?
In this opening message of the Raised Right series, Pastor Ryan Visconti teaches what the Bible says about raising children God's way. Through Psalm 78 and Psalm 127, we discover that children are not burdens—they are blessings from the Lord. But receiving children as a blessing also means taking responsibility for raising them to know Jesus and follow His Word.
Pastor Ryan explains why Christian parents must love their children without making them idols. Through everyday conversations, prayer, biblical teaching, and personal example, parents have the opportunity to lead their families closer to Christ. He also emphasizes the importance of repentance, forgiveness, and creating a home filled with God's grace.
No parent is perfect, but through faith in Jesus, we can experience the perfect love of our Heavenly Father and learn to extend that love to our children. The goal isn't simply to raise good kids, but to raise lifelong followers of Jesus.
Graced for It | How God's Grace Helps You Through Difficult Seasons
2026/10/18
How do you keep trusting God, moving forward, and walking in His purpose when life feels overwhelming and you don't know what comes next?
In this encouraging message from Acts 20:22–24, guest speaker Pastor Kristen Wilkerson teaches what it means to be graced for it. Looking at the Apostle Paul's determination to follow God's calling despite uncertainty, hardship, and suffering, Pastor Kristen reminds us that God's grace is more than His unmerited favor—grace is God's power for daily living. Whatever season you're facing, God has not forgotten you, and His grace is sufficient to give you the strength to keep going.
Pastor Kristen shares three powerful truths: God gives us grace to go, grace to get through, and grace for our race.Sometimes God calls us to obey before revealing the full plan, and His grace meets us when we take that step of faith. Other times, we face painful circumstances we never expected or wanted. Through Paul's testimony, personal experiences, and stories of faithfulness through hardship, we learn that God's grace doesn't always remove the storm, but it gives us the strength to walk through it. Even in our weakness, God's power is made perfect.
Finally, this message challenges us to recognize the unique race God has given each of us. Instead of allowing comparison, distractions, or disappointment to pull us away from our calling, we are called to stay faithful in the season we're in and keep our eyes on God's purpose. Like Paul, our ultimate mission is to testify to the good news of God's grace wherever He has placed us. And the greatest expression of that grace is found in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins, rose again, and offers salvation not through our works, but through faith in Him.
Love Your Neighbor. Use Your Vote. | A Biblical Guide to Voting
2026/10/11
Should Christians vote? And how should our faith influence the way we participate in politics?
In this timely message, Pastor Ryan Visconti addresses one of the most controversial subjects facing Christians today: faith, politics, and voting. As elections become increasingly divisive, many believers struggle with how to engage politically without placing their hope in politicians, political parties, or the government.
While elections cannot bring salvation, they do have real consequences for our communities, families, freedoms, and future generations. Scripture calls Christians to seek the good of the places where God has put them, love their neighbors, and be salt and light in the world. Pastor Ryan explains why voting is more than expressing a political opinion—it's an opportunity to exercise responsibility and influence the direction of our communities.
But what happens when neither political party nor any candidate perfectly represents your values? How should Christians navigate difficult choices, evaluate political platforms, and make decisions rooted in biblical truth rather than emotions or political loyalty?
Through Scripture, Pastor Ryan challenges believers to approach elections with wisdom, discernment, and biblical conviction, recognizing that voting often means choosing the best available path forward rather than waiting for a perfect option.
Ultimately, our hope is not in Washington, political leaders, or the outcome of an election. Our hope is in Jesus Christ.Until He returns, Christians are called to remain faithful, resist cynicism, continue doing good, and use their influence to love their neighbors and honor God.
Worship As Warfare | How Praise Helps You Fight Spiritual Battles
2026/10/04
What do you do when the battle in front of you feels bigger than your strength?
In this message from 2 Chronicles 20, we see how King Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah responded when an overwhelming enemy was coming against them. Instead of allowing fear to control them, they turned to God through prayer, surrender, and worship. Worship shifts our focus from the danger to the Deliverer, reminds us who is truly in command, and helps us transfer the burdens we cannot carry to the God who can. Spiritual warfare is real, but the answer isn't becoming obsessed with the enemy—it's becoming firmly established in the Lord and strong in His power.
As Judah moved toward the battle, worship went before the army. Their confidence wasn't in the singers, the music, or their own ability—it was in the God they were worshiping. Praise strengthened their faith, gave them courage to obey, and prepared them to move forward while trusting God for the victory. Ultimately, the power of worship is found in the power of God, and our greatest reason to praise is the victory Jesus has already won through the cross. Because of Christ, we can worship before the battle, during the battle, and after the victory—knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord.
The Worship God Wants | How to Praise God the Way He Desires
2026/09/27
Why do Christians worship, raise their hands, sing, clap, and praise God together?
In this message, Pastor Ryan Visconti breaks down what the Bible teaches about praise and worship—why we worship, what worship actually is, how God desires to be worshiped, and how worship changes us. Worship isn't simply music or a warm-up before the sermon. It is our response to who God is and everything He has done for us through Jesus. Because Christ died for our sins, rose again, rescued us, and gave us eternal life, God is worthy of our praise whether we feel like worshiping or not.
Pastor Ryan also explains the biblical practices of singing, raising our hands, clapping, shouting, surrendering, and worshiping sincerely without worrying about what others think. Worship not only honors God—it renews our minds, brings encouragement, points people toward Jesus, and helps us experience God's presence in a powerful way. The goal isn't to perform or follow a church culture, but to worship God the way Scripture teaches us and give Him the response He deserves.
Final Words | How to Leave a Godly Legacy for Your Family
2026/09/20
What kind of legacy will your life leave behind?
In this powerful message, guest evangelist Micah shares a deeply personal story about the final words his father ever heard from him and asks an important question: Will the final words we leave behind match the life we actually lived?Turning to the final words of Joshua in Joshua 24, Micah shows us how to build a life and family around something that will outlast our accomplishments, possessions, success, and even our time on earth. Joshua didn't spend his final moments talking about everything he had accomplished. Instead, he gathered God's people together and reminded them of God's faithfulness.
This message challenges us to build our homes around God's story, make His Word a daily part of our lives, faithfully gather our families in church, and intentionally pass our faith to the next generation. We're also challenged to identify and remove the sin that has been allowed to remain in our lives and families. The patterns of previous generations don't have to become the patterns of the next generation because Jesus can redeem families, break cycles of sin, and create a new legacy.Ultimately, every generation has a decision to make. We can't live on someone else's faith. Like Joshua, we must decide for ourselves: “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”And even when we've failed, our story isn't over. The amazing grace of Jesus offers forgiveness, redemption, and a new beginning. We can choose today to build a life centered on Christ and leave behind a legacy that points generations to the faithfulness of God.
Faith to Obey | Why Obedience Requires Faith
2026/09/14
What do you do when God tells you to obey—but what He's asking doesn't make sense?
In this message from Luke 5, Pastor Ryan Visconti teaches what it means to have faith to obey. Peter had every logical reason to stop after fishing all night and catching nothing, but when Jesus told him to cast his nets again, Peter responded, “If you say so.” His obedience became a demonstration of faith. Pastor Ryan explains that faith begins with what God says, grows as we trust Him, and becomes visible through action. We may not always understand what God is doing or know the outcome in advance, but we can trust His character, His Word, and His direction.
This message also shows why obedience is faith in action. We are not saved by works, but genuine faith produces a desire to obey God. Like Abraham, Noah, Moses, Peter, and others throughout Scripture, faith often requires us to move before we have all the details. And while God's blessings are not always immediate, obedience positions us to experience what He has for us. Ultimately, the greatest step of faith is trusting Jesus as Lord and Savior and allowing Him to lead every area of our lives.
Blessing, Temptation & Freedom | What Joseph Teaches Us About Faith
2026/09/06
How can you walk in God's blessing, resist temptation, and experience true freedom—even when your circumstances are difficult?
In this powerful message from Genesis 39, Pastor Nate Clarke looks at the life of Joseph and shows what it means to remain faithful to God through hardship, temptation, injustice, and seasons that don't make sense. Joseph was betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and thrown into prison—yet through every season, the Lord was with Joseph.Joseph's story teaches us that God's blessing isn't dependent on perfect circumstances. We can find favor with God by faithfully following His Word and find favor with others through diligent, excellent work. But when we're forced to choose between pleasing God and pleasing people, Joseph's example reminds us to choose God and leave the consequences to Him.We also learn from Joseph how to resist temptation. Instead of minimizing or justifying sin, we must call sin what it is, remember how our choices affect others, recognize that sin is ultimately against God, and when it comes to sexual temptation—run from it.
Finally, Joseph's story reveals the difference between looking free and actually being free. Joseph's brothers were physically free but remained trapped by guilt and shame for decades. Joseph was physically imprisoned, yet his soul was free because he continued walking faithfully with God. No circumstance, relationship, achievement, or amount of money can give us that kind of freedom. True freedom is found through Jesus Christ.
