On this episode of What Happened When, Tony and Conrad watch the epic WWE World Championship Hell In A Cell match between Cactus Jack and Triple H! This match suggestion comes from T.J. Stephens from La Porte, Indiana. His choice is tremendous, as we take you back to Madison Square Garden in early 2000. T.J. wrote: "Hello Tony, Conrad, and the rest of the WHW Slapdick Nation. Today’s special match will be Cactus Jack v HHH for the WWF Title at Royal Rumble 2000. To me, this is the most under appreciated PPV title match of the past 25 years, and the story was terrific. So, let’s all sit back, relax, and listen to Tony shit on me, and this match. Thank you." It's going to be very difficult for Tony and Conrad to shit on this match.  But wait there's more! We're going way back to an incredible Mid-South Wrestling battle between Ted DiBiase and the Nature Boy Ric Flair! It is here where Ric Flair defends the NWA Heavyweight Championship against Ted DiBiase. However, the match was not so much the memorable part of this night as much as the angle between DiBiase and Dick Murdoch. It is a great television wrestling show, so says LKBH Mike Lednicky of West, Texas, who suggested this watch along: "Would it be too much to ask to watch the show or just the world title between Flair and Dibiase from the 11-16-85 episode of Mid-South Wrestling? I was 11 when that happened and it was and still is maybe the greatest single hour of wrestling TV I’ve seen, capped off by that title match which turned Dibiase face." I chose this because this is a time that is never talked about by Tony or anybody. I'm interested to see what Tony remembers (or doesn't remember) about his brief moment in the XWF...." On this episode of What Happened When, Tony and guest host Casio Kid deliver a WHW Patreon treat that we believe you're really going to enjoy. LKBH Adam DeMouy, WHW Monday's own special troll, is having us watch a couple of things, and wrote (at length): "...No Mercy 2007 - All 3 Triple H matches . The Game was in peak Game Mode during this time and wrestled 3 championship matches in 1 memorable night. The opening Promo where Vince is in the ring giving Randy Orton the wwe championship then The Games music hits and the son in law comes down to the ring to cut an amazing promo on Vinny Mac … Gets what he wants and capitalizes … What a celebration afterwards as JR busts a nut when The Game wins. But then Vince makes him wrestle 2 more matches vs Umaga ( who was a bum , just there cause he was Samoan ) then the main event vs Randy Orton in his prime again. What a match this was … This ppv was the best ppv wwe did in the late early 2000’s … The next night on Raw, HBK came back to challenge Orton which was also a great feud. This was during Randy’s peak legend killer phase. Also, I want Tony to relive the only match he personally ever gave 4 stars to on Nitro . Disco Inferno vs Chris Benoit US Championship Match. Nitro 8-16-99 . Disco cuts a promo before the match about being the only star in WCW then he goes down a fights Benoit in a match Schiavone really loved . It’s only a 8 minute match.
