Beyond the Message - Flourish Part 1
2026/10/29
In this podcast episode Pastor Javin, Caleb and Matt dive deeper into the first two weeks of our Flourish series. They talk about the danger of weeds in our life, discussing further how our spiritual enemy is a liar. They discuss how we can keep ourselves from giving our spiritual enemy more authority in our life than he actually has, and instead rooting ourselves in God’s truth and his authority over our life. They talk more about how the enemy wants to make us think our past has us bound, but God actually can take our past and work through our past. They explore more as well that God has given us His Spirit and community through the body of Christ to help us overcome and flourish. The guys discuss how important the condition of the heart is and which area they find themselves most vulnerable to. They end their discussion with the importance of our being contemplative about our walk with Christ, confessing when we need to confess and emptying ourselves for God to continually pour in and pour out of our life. Flourish Week 2
2026/10/25
What does it mean to prepare your heart for Christ? John the Baptist called people to prepare the way for the Lord. Throughout Scripture we discover how repentance, surrender, and guarding our hearts lead us to a flourishing faith. Whether our hearts are dead or have become deceived, distracted, divided, damaged, or dull, God invites us to turn to Him, experience His healing, and make ourselves available for His Spirit to work in and through us.
How We're Shaped Episode 6
2026/10/20
There are Ai tools now being generated that allow us to communicate with our loved ones after they have deceased. They call it grief tech. How should we as followers of Christ approach this kind of technology? How does this line up with what we see biblically and how Scripture shapes our understanding of death and grief?
Flourish Week 1
2026/10/18
What lies have you been believing about yourself, your past, or God's plans for your life? In this message, discover how false beliefs can shape our identity and keep us from flourishing in faith. Through the truth of Scripture, learn to stand firm against the enemy's lies, praise God in every season, and remain rooted in His presence so you can live out His purpose with confidence and faith.
Beyond the Message - 1 Corinthians Part 5
2026/10/15
In this podcast episode Pastor Javin and Matt dive deeper into the fifth and final breakdown of our 1 Corinthians series. Pastor Javin and Matt discuss more around resurrection, and how Jesus also answered questions about resurrection. They discuss how every question we have around God in our faith should start with the death and resurrection of Christ. They answered a question about us being in eternity with Christ upon our death, but our body is not being resurrected until the day of Christ return. Matt adds, a little nugget from Paul’s statement, saying bad company, corrupt, good character. Javin brings a new technology through AI that attempts to keep the memories of our lost loved ones alive in a new way, and then then Matt finishes the conversation around chapter 15 asking about burial versus cremation. They wrap everything up discussing chapter 16 and Paul’s nuggets of wisdom including generosity, opposition as encouragement, lifting up people in ministry, and kingdom impact.
1 Corinthians Week 10
2026/10/12
As Paul closes his letter to the Corinthians, he gives them several “one more things” for living out their faith: generosity, trusting God when direction isn't clear, honoring those who serve, standing firm, being courageous, growing spiritually strong, and doing everything in love. Ultimately, it all comes back to surrender. Because Christ lives, our lives have purpose—and when surrendered to Him, our lives can make an eternal impact!
1 Corinthians Week 9
2026/10/04
The resurrection of Jesus is foundational to our faith, and not only that, it changes everything. In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul reminds us that because Christ died and rose again, we have hope beyond death, the promise of new life, and purpose in how we live today. The resurrection assures us that our faith is not pointless, our suffering is not the end, and our work for Christ is never wasted.
Beyond the Message - 1 Corinthians Part 4
2026/10/01
In this podcast episode Pastor Javin and Matt dive deeper into the fourth breakdown of our 1 Corinthians series. Pastor Javin and Matt discuss more around the clarification that Paul is giving to order in the body, how women fit into that order, and how the body of Christ is called to operate in the gifts of the spirit in love, whether they are equipping gifts, body gifts, or manifestation gifts. The end by discussing more about praying in the Spirit which Paul speaks to in 1 Corinthians 14.
1 Corinthians Week 8
2026/09/28
God has given every believer a gift, a role, and a place within the body of Christ. But our gifts aren’t about elevating ourselves—they’re about serving others. In this message, we explore the relationship between men and women in the body, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the importance of using the gifts of the Spirit with love, humility, and order. Discover how God wants His Spirit working not only in you, but through you, whether you are male or female.
Beyond the Message - 1 Corinthians Part 3
2026/09/24
In this podcast episode Pastor Javin and Matt dive deeper into the third breakdown of our 1 Corinthians series. Pastor Javin and Matt discuss what’s been encouraging and challenging to them so for from 1st Corinthians as well as some feedback they’ve gotten from others in the church body, and resources we are making available to help take the message beyond Sunday mornings. Going into week 8’s message they talk more about what we do, we do from a heart of love not just knowledge, food for idols and how that relates to us in regards to our personal liberties, how Paul demonstrated that he laid down his rights and for us it causes us to question what is my motivation even around the gospel? They discussed we are to contextualize for the gospel but not compromise for the sake of the gospel, so what does it look like for us to become all things so that we might win some. They wrap up talking about temptations and what idolatry looks like in our lives today, how idolatry is actual misplaced worship, and how we should treat the act of worship in communion.
1 Corinthians Week 7
2026/09/20
What does it mean to follow Jesus when life isn’t always black and white? In 1 Corinthians 8–11, Paul challenges us to move beyond simply asking, “What am I free to do?” and instead ask, “What is the wise, loving, Christ-honoring thing to do?” Discover how our freedom, preferences, and desires should be shaped by love, God’s glory, and a commitment to lead others toward Christ.
Beyond the Message - 1 Corinthians Part 2
2026/09/17
In this podcast episode Pastor Javin and Matt dive deeper into the second breakdown of our 1 Corinthians series. This episode dives deeper into week 4 -6 discussing more about sexual immorality and any immorality that we are tolerating in our life, we discuss practical steps to avoid sexual sin, we talk about how sin effects us, we look at the importance of addressing sin in the body of Christ and why this is so important, also discussion how we love our unbelieving friends without judging them. 1 Corinthians Week 6
2026/09/13
Marriage rates are at historic lows, and both single and married people often feel like second-class citizens in the church. In Week 6 of our study on 1 Corinthians we go into chapter 7 where we unpack Paul's surprising take: singleness and marriage are both gifts, both callings, and neither is a waiting room for the other. We'll look honestly at God's design for covenant, commitment, and what it means to glorify Him in whatever season you're in.
1 Corinthians Week 5
2026/09/06
Corinth was taking private church matters and making them a spectacle in the public court. Social media seems to have become a public courtroom where private conflicts are placed on trial. But Scripture gives us a better way. This week we explore how Jesus calls us to handle conflict and confrontations with truth, love, wisdom, and a desire for restoration. We’ll discover why the church must take sin seriously while extending grace, and how the way we handle conflict can point people toward—or away from—Jesus.
1 Corinthians Week 4
2026/08/30
This message takes us to 1 Corinthians 5–6 where Paul expresses how Christians are called to live differently in a culture that normalizes sexual immorality. Paul challenges the church to reject cultural definitions of morality, flee temptation, and honor God with their bodies. Through repentance, surrender, and the power of the Holy Spirit, we can experience genuine transformation—not simply behavior modification, having our desires and lives increasingly shaped by Christ. Jesus didn't set us free so we could become comfortable with sin. He set us free from sin so we could live differently.
