Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 5 Text 68 tad-uktyā nārado harṣa- bharākrānta-manā hasan utplutyotplutya cākrośann idam āha su-vismitaḥ TRANSLATION These words filled Nārada’s mind with pleasure, and he laughed, jumped up and down, and shouted in joy. Astonished, he spoke as follows.

Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 5 Text 62 śrīmad-uddhava uvāca vraja-bhūmāv ayaṁ jātas tasyāṁ gopatvam ācarat gopālopāsanā-niṣṭho viśiṣṭo ’sman mahāśayaḥ TRANSLATION Śrīmān Uddhava said: He was born in Vraja-bhūmi, and there he was engaged as a cowherd. And he is firmly established in the worship of Lord Gopāla. He is surely a much greater soul than you and I.

Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 5 Text 54 sarve ’pi nityaṁ kila tasya pārṣadāḥ sevā-parāḥ krīḍanakānurūpāḥ praty-ekam ete bahu-rūpavanto ’py aikyaṁ bhajāmo bhagavān yathāsau TRANSLATION All the Lord’s personal associates are at His hand like playthings. They are always fully dedicated to His service. Each assumes a variety of forms yet stays essentially one, just like the Lord Himself.

Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 5 Text 42 śrī-gopa-kumāra uvāca teṣāṁ tatrāgraheṇāpi sva-cittasyācyutasya ca alabdhvā sva-rasaṁ teṣu nīcākiñcana-vat sthitaḥ TRANSLATION Śrī Gopa-kumāra said: Even though these Yādavas insisted, I stayed like a poor, simple devotee because in their dress I would not have been able to taste the special mood that appealed to my mind, and to Lord Acyuta’s.

Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 5 Texts 35-36 vicitraṁ tasya kāruṇya- bharaṁ santatam āpnuvan vasaṁs tatra mahānanda- pūrān anubhavāmi yān teṣāṁ nirūpaṇaṁ kartuṁ vācā cittena vā janaḥ brahmāyuṣāpi kaḥ śakto bhagavad-bhaktimān api TRANSLATION While residing there in Dvārakā I constantly, abundantly received Lord Kṛṣṇa’s wonderful mercy. I tasted such a flood of supreme ecstasy that no one could tell of it in words, or even think of it within the mind, not even a pure devotee of the Lord with a lifetime of Brahmā.

Within His palace, He concealed the emotions He was feeling, and with apparent pleasure He sat down on the best of thrones.

Seeing the object of my meditation holding my flute in His hand, I again fainted, overwhelmed by delight.

And in front the queens placed their mothers-in-law, Śrī Devakī and Rohiṇī.

Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 5 Text 12 tiṣṭhan puraḥ śrī-garuḍo ’sti taṁ stuvan pādābja-saṁvāhana-kṛt tathoddhavaḥ rahasya-vārtābhir asau priyābhiḥ santoṣayann asti nijeśvaraṁ tam TRANSLATION Śrī Garuḍa stood before the Lord, glorifying Him with prayers. And Uddhava massaged the Lord’s lotus feet and pleased Him with affectionate intimate remarks.

There I saw various groups of Yādavas, along with their children. They were accompanied by some brāhmaṇas of Mathurā and were enjoying themselves.
