What's It Worth? - The Scarlet Thread
2026/11/02
What are you willing to sacrifice for something that will not last? In this message from The Scarlet Thread series, we explore the story of Jacob and Esau and the costly decision Esau made when he traded his birthright for a moment of satisfaction. His story reminds us of the danger of allowing temporary desires to outweigh eternal blessings. Join us as we consider the true value of our spiritual inheritance and ask ourselves one important question: What's it worth?
Undeterred - The Scarlet Thread Series
2026/10/26
Following God doesn't mean we won't face opposition. In this message, Undeterred, we examine Isaac's response to the hostility of the Philistines and discover what it means to remain steadfast in faith when circumstances challenge God's promises. Through Isaac's example, we're reminded that faith requires more than belief, it requires continued obedience, perseverance, and trust in God's faithfulness. And when God brings us through adversity, our response should be to draw closer to Him in worship, not drift into complacency.
Faith That Does Not Waiver - The Scarlet Thread
2026/10/19
In Genesis 22, Abraham faces the greatest test of his faith when God commands him to offer Isaac as a sacrifice. Yet Abraham responds with unwavering obedience and confidence that God will provide. In this message, Pastor Jay Tyler explores how trials reveal the genuineness of our faith, strengthen our trust in God, and point us to Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. Genuine faith trusts God not simply for what He provides, but because of who He is.
Standing In The Gap - The Scarlet Thread
2026/10/12
In this message from The Scarlet Thread series, Pastor Jay Tyler examines Abraham’s intercession for his nephew Lot as God prepares to bring judgment upon Sodom and Gomorrah.
Abraham’s example reminds us of the incredible privilege we have as believers to stand in the gap for our family and friends. While we cannot force anyone to repent or follow Christ, we can pray, intercede, and trust the Holy Spirit to work in hearts we cannot change.
Join us as we discover the power of intercessory prayer, the mercy of God, and the importance of leaving the world behind to walk by faith.
Who are you standing in the gap for today?
Ishmael - A good idea, but not a God idea
2026/10/05
Not every good idea is God's idea. After waiting ten years for God to fulfill His promise, Abraham and Sarah decided to take matters into their own hands. Their solution seemed reasonable, but their impatience led to consequences they never anticipated. Through Abraham's experience, we discover that faith is often tested in the waiting, and God's timing is just as important as His promises. What happens when we've already made an "Ishmael" decision? The encouraging truth is that Abraham's mistake did not cancel God's promise. This message challenges us to trust God's timing, seek the leading of the Holy Spirit, and learn to walk by faith rather than sight.
The Scarlet Thread - Called Out
2026/09/28
In Called Out, we see how Abram’s story points us toward Christ and demonstrates what genuine faith looks like. God still calls people out of sin, out of the world, and out of comfortable places to follow Him. Faith is more than simply believing, it's trusting God enough to surrender, obey, and follow wherever He leads.
Grace In The Midst of Judgment
2026/09/14
In Part Five of The Scarlet Thread, we follow the story of Noah and the Flood to discover God’s grace in the midst of judgment. While sin had corrupted the world, Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. God provided an ark as a way of salvation, and Noah responded by faith. The Flood reminds us that judgment is real, but it also points us forward to the Gospel: just as God provided salvation for Noah, He has provided salvation for us through Jesus Christ.
The Scarlet Thread - A Better Sacrifice
2026/08/30
In Genesis 4, Cain and Abel reveal the devastating progression of sin and the importance of approaching God by faith. Abel’s blood cried out for justice, but Scripture points us toward another blood that “speaks better things” the blood of Jesus. In Part Four of The Scarlet Thread, we follow the story from Abel’s sacrifice to the cross and discover that salvation is not found in what we bring to God, but in the better sacrifice He provided for us: Jesus Christ.
The Scarlet Thread - When Everything Changed
2026/08/24
In Genesis 3, everything changes. Sin enters the human story, bringing shame, separation, suffering, and death, but even in the middle of mankind’s rebellion, God reveals His plan of redemption. From the Garden of Eden to the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we begin to see the Scarlet Thread woven through Scripture: what mankind lost through sin, God restores through Christ. (Technical Difficulties: The first few minutes of the message did not record)
The Scarlet Thread - Part Two: Made In His Image
2026/08/17
In Part Two of The Scarlet Thread, “Made in His Image,” we return to the opening chapters of Genesis to discover God’s original design for humanity. We were uniquely created in the image of God, made for relationship with Him and one another, and given purpose under His authority. But sin distorted what God created to be good. In this message, we see how the story of redemption is not simply about forgiveness, it is about Jesus restoring what sin has broken and the Holy Spirit transforming us into the people God created us to be.
The Scarlet Thread - Part One - In The Beginning
2026/08/11
The Bible begins with four powerful words: “In the beginning God…” In Part One of The Scarlet Thread, Pastor Jay Tyler begins a journey from Genesis to Revelation, following the story of redemption that ultimately leads to Jesus. Genesis 1:1 reveals God as the eternal Creator, the One from whom everything comes and to whom everything belongs. But the Creator did something extraordinary: He entered His own creation to redeem what sin had broken. From the very beginning, the scarlet thread is there, pointing us toward Jesus Christ, the Creator who became our Redeemer.
Missing the Story
2026/08/03
In this introductory message to our new series, The Scarlet Thread, we discover that the greatest tragedy in history was not that Jesus came into the world, but that many who knew the Scriptures best failed to recognize the One to whom the Scriptures pointed. John's Gospel reminds us that Christ was present before creation, that He is the eternal Word, and that the purpose of Scripture is not merely to increase our knowledge, but to lead us into a deeper relationship with Him. This message lays the foundation for seeing God's plan of redemption unfold from beginning to end. Rather than studying disconnected stories, we'll learn to recognize the scarlet thread of redemption woven through every book of the Bible, a story that ultimately leads to Christ.
Saving Faith Part Two - How do I know if I am Born Again?
2026/07/27
This message explores the difference between outward religion and inward transformation, revealing that new birth is a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit; not something we can accomplish through our own efforts. You'll also discover the biblical evidence of genuine salvation and where true assurance is found, not in a prayer, a religious experience, or church membership, but in a life that has been transformed by Christ. If you've ever wrestled with questions about your salvation or wondered what it truly means to be born again, this message will challenge, encourage, and point you to the hope found in Jesus Christ alone.
Repent, Believe, Be Baptized
2026/07/20
Why are you confident you're going to heaven? Many people place their confidence in a past prayer, church membership, or even water baptism. In this message, Pastor Jay Tyler examines what the Bible actually teaches about repentance, faith, and baptism, revealing that salvation is found in Christ alone and that baptism is the joyful, public declaration of a life already transformed by His grace.
Saving Faith Part One - More Than Belief
2026/07/13
In this first message of our new series, Saving Faith, we explore one of the most important questions a person can ever ask: What does it mean to truly believe? Whether you've followed Christ for many years or you're still searching for answers, this message will challenge you to consider one life changing question: Am I simply believing in Jesus, or am I truly following Him?
