In Part 1 of Come Holy Spirit, we begin with a surprising statement from Jesus: “It is better for you that I go away.” This message explores who the Holy Spirit really is—not a force, feeling, or experience to chase, but God Himself, a Person we can know who lives within every follower of Jesus. We’re challenged to move beyond simply knowing about the Holy Spirit and begin living every day aware of His presence, listening for His voice, and responding to His leading. Because through the Holy Spirit, God isn’t only with us—He is in us, and that changes everything. Freedom Church exists so that you would know God, find freedom, discover your purpose and make a difference. We want to help you find freedom from anything that holds you back from all that God has planned for your life. Our mandate comes from the Bible, and we have a few steps we’ve implemented to make finding freedom simple. Find out more here — http://myfreedom.org/ Stay Connected! In the final week of Run It Back, Pastor Josh Finley reminds us that while methods, cultures, and generations may change, the Good News of Jesus remains the same Gospel that has been transforming lives for more than 2,000 years. Through Colossians, he unpacks four powerful truths: the Gospel saves us, spreads beyond us, shapes our whole lives, and strengthens us through trials. The message challenges us to keep Jesus at the center, boldly share our faith, and remember that the same Gospel that saved us has the power to sustain us in every season. In Part 2 of Run It Back, Pastor Joey Sarlo reminds us that God has more for our lives and that each of us has a next step to take in our spiritual journey. Through Paul’s prayer in Ephesians, he walks through the vision of Freedom Church—to Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference—showing how each step moves us toward the flourishing life God intends for us. From finding healing in authentic community to discovering the unique gifts and purpose God has placed within us, we’re challenged not to stay dormant but to keep growing. Wherever you are on the journey, God has more for you—it’s time to take your next step. Freedom Church exists so that you would know God, find freedom, discover your purpose and make a difference. In this message kicking off the Run It Back series, Pastor Wade Haskins uses the story of Job to remind us that no matter what we’ve lost or walked through, God is not finished with us. He challenges us to remove the wrong voices, replace complaining with gratitude, and trust God’s faithfulness even when our circumstances don’t make sense. Through the promises found in Job 42 and Joel 2, we’re reminded that God is a God of restoration who can redeem even the years that feel lost. Your difficult season doesn’t have to be the end of your story God still has more ahead. Freedom Church exists so that you would know God, find freedom, discover your purpose and make a difference. In this message, Pastor Wade reminds us that God is faithful—even when life feels uncertain, difficult, or different than we expected. Through Scripture, he challenges us to anchor our faith in God’s unchanging character rather than our circumstances, remembering that His promises remain true and His faithfulness never depends on ours. Instead of allowing hardship to determine what we believe, we can reject the lies of the enemy, rehearse what God has said, and boldly declare His goodness. When we trust in His faithfulness, we can face every season with confidence, knowing that God will remain true to who He is. In this message, Pastor Joey Sarlo uses the story of the Israelites crossing the Jordan River to show us how to navigate new and uncertain seasons with faith. He challenges us to follow God before we know where He’s leading, prepare our hearts before stepping into His promises, and have the courage to step into the river before we see a way through. We’re also reminded that faith isn’t just about making it across ourselves—the Church is called to stand firm and help others make it through too. Whether entering a new school year, a new responsibility, or an unfamiliar season, we are sent to carry God’s presence wherever He leads us. In this Sunday Continued conversation, the Freedom Church team explores why authentic community is essential to both spiritual growth and a healthy life. They discuss the importance of stepping out of isolation, choosing vulnerability, and building relationships where we can be fully known, loved, and challenged. Ultimately, the conversation reminds us that meaningful community is worth fighting for—and we were never meant to follow Jesus alone.

In this Sunday message, Pastor Mark explores the story of Elijah and the imagery of sailors in a storm to reveal how God meets us in the middle of life’s crises. He unpacks the power of crying out to God, listening for His gentle whisper, and recognizing that we were never designed to face our battles alone. Through powerful stories of transformation, he highlights the healing power of authentic relationships and the importance of building “social fitness” by showing up and getting connected. The message is a call to step out of isolation, into community, and discover that while loneliness kills, relationships heal. What does it look like to pursue Jesus with urgency and let Him truly change your life? In this Sunday Continued conversation, the Freedom Church team reflects on Zacchaeus and the courage it takes to trade comfort and dignity for a genuine encounter with Jesus. They explore how vulnerability creates space for the Holy Spirit to work and how real encounters with God produce real, tangible change—not just outward performance. The conversation ends with practical challenges to prioritize Jesus, humble ourselves, and become more tender in the ways we love those around us.

In this powerful message, Pastor Risheem Whitten uses the story of Zacchaeus in Luke 19 to challenge us to pursue Jesus above comfort, status, and worldly success. Through Zacchaeus’s desperation to encounter Jesus, we are reminded that sometimes following Christ requires us to step beyond our comfort zone, lay down our pride, and pursue Him wholeheartedly. Pastor Risheem emphasizes that Jesus sees beyond our past mistakes and labels to the identity and destiny He has for us. A genuine encounter with Jesus transforms not only our hearts, but also our actions, our families, and the legacy we leave behind. In this Sunday Continued conversation, the Freedom Church team reflects on powerful messages from across the campuses during the “Summer at Freedom” series, exploring identity, purpose, forgiveness, and perseverance. From discovering that we are God’s masterpiece to learning how to be a light in the darkness and outlast life’s trials, each message points back to a life rooted in God’s presence and Word. The team also emphasizes that our purpose is uniquely given by God—not something we need to create or copy—and that we’re meant to pursue it in community. The conversation closes with practical ways to grow through groups, Growth Track, worship, and serving.

In Part 1 of Summer with Freedom, Josh Jones explores two of life’s most important questions—“Who am I?” and “Why am I here?”—through Ephesians 2:10, reminding us that we are intentionally created by God as His masterpieces and that our true identity is found in Christ. He explains that good works are not the root of our salvation, but the fruit of being accepted by God, and that He has uniquely prepared a purpose for each of us. Through prayer, resisting comparison, and saying yes to God one step at a time, we can discover His plan and confidently live out the identity and purpose He has given us. The Freedom Church team celebrates the incredible stories of life change from Baptism Sunday, with testimonies spanning brand-new believers, rededications, and entire families choosing to follow Jesus together. They reflect on the power of a simple invitation and the generational impact that can happen when people take their next step of faith in community. The conversation also reminds the Dream Team that every Sunday matters because any gathering could be the moment someone’s life is changed forever. From joining a group to starting Growth Track or preparing for baptism, the team encourages everyone to take their next step and discover what God has for them.

In this message, Eric Sarlo explores humanity’s original God-given authority and purpose to partner with God by reflecting His character and bringing His order and love to the earth. Through the story of Adam, the fall, and Jesus as the “Second Adam,” we discover how Jesus restores what was lost and empowers believers to walk confidently in their identity as sons and daughters of God. Sarlo challenges us to reject the enemy’s lies, speak life, pray boldly, and actively participate in bringing heaven to earth. In this episode of Sunday Continued, Pastor Josh Finley, Katie Burke, and Kaitlyn Stevens celebrate the impact of The Nines, a unique Freedom Church initiative that gives everyday church members the opportunity to preach God’s Word. After eight weeks of training and preparation, members of the Dream Team stepped onto stages across multiple campuses, breaking attendance records and creating powerful opportunities for evangelism and connection. The team reflects on how these authentic, relatable messages called people to “go deeper” in their faith while demonstrating Freedom’s commitment to growing big people, not just a big church.
